Setting a Payload Factory

Hi All,
I am currently looking integrating a pretty standard Message Driven Bean with an OJMS(AQ) Queue that is using a custom ADT payload type.
Everything was working relatively well following various manuals and blogs until it came to deploying the Bean on an app server where the deployer started complaining that the JMS-137: Payload factory must be specified for destinations with ADT payloads
As close as I can tell there is no documentation on how to set the payload factory when using a MDB (I have a working non-mdb implementation that interacts reasonably well with the queue but is not scallable). So how do you set a Payload Factory (can you when using a MDB?)
The system is using Oracle 10g R2 DB and a Oracle 10.1.3.1.0 Application Server.

From what I have found so far MDBs running in OC4J only have support for standard JMS Message types and this is the reason for the error.
Standalone JMS clients do support ADTs.
Struggling to find this in the documentation but it probably is somewhere.

The user needs to set a payload field value and then he can approve the task so the task can continue through the process, that's fine when the user selects one instance and sets the value in the task details section and then clicks the approve button, but how do we achieve the same behavior in a multiple way?, I mean the user can select multiple tasks in the workspace (in this case the details task page is not available and instead the following label appear "Multiple tasks selected") then if the user clicks the Actions drop down -> APPROVE he only gets the message "your request was processed successfully", so how can the user modify the payload field value only once for all the selected tasks so when he clicks APPROVE the value is populated in all the instances selected.

In the action which displays the edit page just set the form idx value before displaying the jsp.

Payload Factory for ADT

I get this exception when i try to create the receiver with :
session.createReceiver(inQueue)
Where can i get the Payload Factory for ADT?

What is the scenario?

If your computer's iTunes isnt recognising the iPad when you connect it then have you got a recent version of iTunes installed on your computer ? There are also troubleshooting pages for a device not showing in iTunes on these pages :

Unable to set up connection factory for stand-alone resource adapter

I'm testing out JCA 1.5 in OC4J P4, and I try to register a resource apapter by configuring oc4j-ra.xml like this:
<connector-factory location="MySomething" connector-name="Something">
However, I get the following error:
05/09/28 17:14:24 Notification ==> Warning. Unable to set up connection factory
to location MySomething for a resource adapter deployed as stand-alone.
Is this a bug, or just me?
Would appreciate it if someone knew what was wrong.

can you see the wi-fi address in the about? if it show N/A, your iphone needs to be repaired.
if your ios is 5.1.1 or you can see the wi-fi address,you could try to connect your iphone to the itunes to restore and update.

The Simplest Way to Load a Property file (Which is outside of your Application) ..is.
Just Place the Property file in the Server Classpath...or in the "C:\bea103\user_projects\domains\7001_Domain\lib" folder of your Domain. It means somehow the Property file should be available in the Server Classpath...
Now Please write the following code in your Application to read the Property file:
java.util.Properties prop = new java.util.Properties();
java.io.InputStream stream=this.getClass().getClassLoader().getResourceAsStream(“my.properties”);
prop.load(stream);
String hostProperty = p.getProperty(“host.name”);

Hard drive configuration is not set to the factory default

When I go into Acer Recovery Management to try to create a factory default backup I get a pop up that says Hard Drive configuration is not set to the factory default - back up aborted. How do I get my hard drive set back to factory default?

Create recovery backup or recovery media and resetting to default are 2 different things. you can create the recovery backup even without resetting to factory default; you just need to start Acer erecovery and follow instructions. it will copy the recovery partition to DVDs or USB flash media.if Acer erecovery is not working and you have Windows 8.x, you can follow this guide:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive about resetting to factory default, the easiest way is to press ALT+F10 at boot and then follow onscreen instructions.

Iphone set back to factory settings

Selling my iphone .
Went into settings and set back to factory settings and removed the SIM to use in another phone. The other phone is fine but was wondering if it's normal for the iphone without a SIM to only show the keypad / Emergency Call with a small lock on the top middle. In other words, you are not able to go into the IOS and use it for anything ( ipod ) check settings etc without a SIM ? Is this normal ?

This is normal. In order to use an iPhone as an iPod without a SIM, it first needs to be activated with a SIM in place (doesn't need to be an activated SIM). Once the phone is activated, the SIM can be removed.
Keep in mind, any iOS upgrade to the phone will require the insertion of a SIM card. Best is just to leave a deactivated SIM in the phone permanently.

I think you are trying $.request.setBody() method. Do not use that. It is a read only object containing the we request received from external world via http.
create a new request object like
var request = new $.web.WebRequest($.net.http.POST,"/Employee" ); //employee being your entity
request.headers.set("x-csrf-token",CSRF);
request.headers.set("Content-Type","application/json");
then do request.setBody(JSON data);

XI3.0 IDOC control record - SNDPRN and SNDPRT setting from payload

Hi,
I have a source XML from which I wish to create IDOC-XML and forward to the IDOC adapter to post to an R/3 system. I wish to create IDOCS with a sender partner type of 'KU' and a sender partner number which I wish to copy from the source XML document. I have read the How to sample IDOC-XI scenarios but I still cannot get this to work. Whenever the IDOC is created in the R/3 system is still has a sender partner type of 'LS' and a partner number taken from the sender business system.
To summarise - how do I map the customer number from the source XML-payload and use this to set the sender partner number and type for use by the IDOC adapter.

Turn off the phone and when you go to turn it on, hold the home button the entire time, it will put the phone into recovery mode where you can restore it fom a computer

Setting workflow payload as Java object

Hello,
The documentation for CQ workflows indicates that a Java object can be passed as the payload data for a workflow process. I have a Java class that implements the WorkflowProcess interface and have hooked it up so I can invoke it programmatically.
However the documentation does not give any insight on the "payload type" options other than "JCR_PATH". If I use JCR_PATH then it expects the Object passed to be a string (a node path obviously). Passing anything else will cause a class cast exception. Using any payload type other than JCR_PATH results in the log message "com.day.cq.workflow.impl.jcr.WorkflowManager No payload set" and the process does not get invoked correctly. They show up in the Workflow instances UI as RUNNING and have no payload (basically stuck).
Any help?

That's a reasonable limitation of the implementation behind the interface. Just serialize your payload into a JCR node (or a node structure) and then add this node as payload to the workflow. The WF steps then process this node.
A possible explanation for this: A workflow is guaranteed to be executed exactly once. So at the end of every workflow step the payload must be serialized to the repository to ensure that the next step can be repeated if it fails for any reason. So you can either serialize it yourself and upfront (the workflow then just updates this node struecture) or you would need some OR mapper here, which does this job for you. I prefer the first approach :-)
