Setting Button icon source with variable at runtime ?

I have an application that requires me to use a relative path
for my flex buttons. The problem I'm having is trying to set the
relative path with a variable that gets passed in at runtime. Is
this possible ? I will not always know where the application is
being run from so I need to pass in the current directory (from a
.net application by the way, which works great.) and use that as
the relative source for the button icons.
Make any sense ?

RuntimeIconButton component ;)

Hi, The Set-NaOption CmdLet -optionvalue parameter expects a string and it shouldn't matter if that's a comma delimited string containing multiple IP Addresses. I noticed that whilst the cmdlet thows an error it does actually set the option value for all servers so this seems like it could be a bug (IMO). It might be possible to invoke the API using "Invoke-NaSystemApi" but I checked the ZAPI and noticed this also fails using ZExplore from the SDK: ZAPI Request: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

</netapp> So i think the options are either using the "Set-NaOption" cmdlet with the -SilentlyContinue parameter or the "Invoke-NaSsh" cmdlet with -ErrorAction stop.As a work around i'd recommend something like: [String]$servers = "192.168.100.10,192.168.100.11,192.168.100.12"

Associating two Icons (2 gif files) for Icon Source

Hi,
Kindly note that I have a requirement where we need to display two Icons from to be displayed side by side on the UI for the tree UI element (TreeNodeType).
But at present I am able to associate only one .gif file with Icon source. Please let me know if I can associate two .gif files with the same Icon Source Property of the Tree UI (NodeType) UI element.

Bind the Icon source with the String type value attribute.
And you can change the image at runtime.You can show the one image at one time

How to set an icon of a Button in ActionScript ?

A need to create at runtime some buttons and set their icons.
I found a problem to do that in ActionScript. In MXML is easy
to set the icon just use a syntax like this: <mx:Button
label="some text" icon="images/ok.png"/>
But in ActionScript how I can set the icon ?
I need to create the icon by a path passed as a parameter.
Example:
The user want to create a button with a label and an icon so
call a method like this (that return and instance of Button):
createButton("Update","images/update.png");

Just hoping someone out there can point me in the direction
of what I want.
I was trying to load a PNG Button Icon into the button at
runtime.

if you want to display icons on button at run time the way to do this is as follow these steps to resolve your problem.
1-set the button property iconic=Y
2-give the file name forexample book or xyz etc
do not put path here just give the name of the file only name .
3-now open registry go on oracle see list of oracle related items in registry as u
put form_path or report_path check the following
T_25_ICONS or may be T_21_ICONS
when u double click it opens and u put the path of u folder in which all files those u want to show on buttons are .
but be sure u put path first , if any path given by default , u must put u files path betore that .

It was working fine with Crystal Report version 13.0.5. Only change is uninstall Crystal Report version 13.0.5 and install Crystal Report version 13.0.10

Create a trigger which set Image source with binding to a dependency property.

I'm trying to create a specified button which switch images every time it pressed, without using the Click CBFunction, so I'm using toggle button and triggers (checked unchecked) and I want this button to
supply DP of string so who ever uses is button will only have to specify the images paths and a click CBFuntion to
perform what ever he wishes.
I managed to create the mechanism for switching images with triggers(but the triggers image paths are hard coded and not using DP) and to enable setting a click CBFunction. When I switch the hard coded image path with a DP which return a string with
the path the program crush, an exception is thrown.

The exception:

I would love to know why when I switch the hard coded value with DP it suddenly throw exception, how to fix it or if there is other way to achieve U.C with those demands.

Unfortunately I get the same result, the button is switching between the (Joe Cocker) image to blue button(normal pressed button look) how come the
(Joe Cocker) image return I didn't set a trigger for unchecked so what make it change the content
or the image source back to that image?
And I can't debug (by the way what's happening there how come it doesn't stop in all those code lines?).

Hi,
I am working on BPC NW 7.5. When I am trying to access BPC for Excel I am getting the below error.
'object variable or with variable not set'
When I click on BPC for Excel it ask for the credentials, after entering it we encounter this error.

I am working on SAP BPC 7.0 NW and using MS Excel 2003.
I can log in to BPC Admin and excel with my user id and password.
Only when i am trying to click esubmit --> send and refresh schedules i am getting this error.
I checked my security profile and i have the submit data task in my task profile.
Following couple existing SDN postings i tried to check the ADD-INs of the excel on my system. However it looks like the steps listed in the existing SDN posts are for MS EXCEL 2007.
Please suggest me how do i resolve this issue. Please note I am working on SAP BPC 7.0 NW and using MS Excel 2003.

1. Open your normal Excel.
2. Check for Planning and Consolidation tab on the top ribbon.
3. I assume this wouldn't be available for you.
4. If this is not present, open the Excel Options
5. Click on Add-Ins and check the Active Application Add-ins
6. Is Planning and consolidation present in it?
7. If not, select "Disabled Add-ins" in the drop down below besides "Manage".
8. Click "GO"
9. Select the Planning and Consolidation add-in from disabled add-ins and "Enable" it.
10. Check once again if this add-in is prersent in "Active" add-ins .
11. Now close and re-open excel
12. The Tab should be present now (Planning and Consolidation)

I'm currently using the "Button URL With Variables widget 6.x" developed by CaptivateDev. com. Unfortunatley it is not compatible with HTML5 projects in Captivate 7. Do you know where I can find one?

OS X Lion Server display problem with menu highlighting and button icons

I have attached Grab capture of my screen showing the problems with the window top bars and button icons. This happened after a routine security update.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I have/had the same problem. Comparible setup running Lion Server GM. The natd service fires off the InternetSharing service from the prefspane instead of the regular natd service. This is verifiable by entries in the system log as well as the lack of the natd process running. Below are my findings from research/experimentation; please understand that this is what I have done to get it working, it is DEFINITELY not best practices and I'm sure not supported by Apple. I'm just conveying what I think is happening and how I dealt with it.
Natd - Executing the binary referenced in the launchctl job directly launches the InternetSharing service on Lion server. This does NOT act this way in SL server, where it works as expected. Replacing the Lion binaries with The SL ones results in natd working as expected: nat_start and nat_stop in /usr/libexec. In short, if you replace the Lion binaries with the ones from SL, it-s a drop-in fix. Natd isn't your only problem though...
Dns/named - It appears that Apple has limited named to binding on the loopback adapter only by default on Lion. Adding a listen-on clause to named.conf with the appropriate bindings will fix this. I'm assuming you're running natd, named and dhcpd on the same box...
Dhcpd - Works fine. It appears broken only because the InternetSharing service is replacing natd (why?!?) and it has a built-in dhcpd server (dumbed down 192.168.2.0 subnet). Once you fix natd, this runs as expected.
Firewall/ipfw - Gotta have this running so that natd will do translation. Remember to open the dhcp ports to allow the clients to get leases...
I hope this helps, I'm sticking with SL until these issues are worked out...

Setting source with a MediaContainer

I agree with Jesse Warden in another thread where he complained about the removal of MediaPlayerSprite. That being said I was able to easily change my player to work with Sprint 10. The HelloWorld example is helpful, but the video source needs to be dynamic. As a sanity check, can you tell me if this is a good approach to setting the video source (haven't actually compiled this pasted code):

Setting the XDP source at runtime

I would like to set the template source for an InteractiveForm UI element via the IWDInteractiveForm.<b>setTemplateSource</b> method in the wdDoModifyView of my view. I would like to set it to a URL or something like that.
But I always get the following exception:

Sorry for late response. I installed BS6.5 some days ago.
Regarding localhost: The ADS is also on my local machine, so I thing that it can not be a problem.
I tried it with and without 'localhost', but it does not work. Now I use a workaround: copy first the proper template from the KM into the directory from the original template deployed with the WD can be obtained by the application. Then I set the template source using simply the name of the file.

The where statement should only be used, if a textbox :myBox contains a specific value.
The content of myVar1 should also vary with regard to the value in :myBox.

Assumming myField is a numeric field and P1_PAGE_ITEM is your myVal1 and is suppose to be a number. I would should you use bind variables for security reasons.
