  • Set item value from application level item

    Hello,
    I'm using Apex 2.2.1.00.04. I've modified the Page "No Tabs" template so that I can have my own Form (which is submitted to an outside website). On this form, I create some hidden items:
    <form name="frmEPay" method="POST" action="some_website">
    <input type="hidden" id="i1" name="userId" value=&G_ID. />
    <input type="hidden" id="i11" name="timestamp" value="" />
    <input type="hidden" id="i12" name="hash" value="" />
    On this apex page, I have a javascript function which is called in the onload (basically, the ApEx webpage displays and then is redirected). Here's a snippet of that function:
    var appProc = new htmldb_Get(null, html_GetElement('pFlowId').value,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=PrepEPay',0);
    appProc.get();
    appProc = null;
    document.getElementById('i11').value = "&G_ECOM_TIMESTAMP.";
    document.getElementById('i12').value = "&G_HASH.";
    document.frm_infiNET.submit();
    As you can see, the function calls an application level On Demand process (PrepEPay). That process sets the values of the application level items G_ECOM_TIMESTAMP and G_HASH. After those App level items have their values, I want to take those values and apply them to the hidden items on my custom form. Unfortunately, it doesn't work how I have things currently. I've verified that the On Demand process is running(by viewing the Session report on the page). So my problem seems to be this: 1. Retrieving the values from the Apex application level items
    2. Setting those values to the values of my hidden items (on my custom form)
    I think the biggest reason why I'm having difficulties is because I have to do a lot of this in the template, since that is the only way to have a separate Form. Maybe my problem is that I don't understand how to reference the Apex application level item value from a different form?
    Thanks,
    Marty

    Marty,
    You are describing this as if you expect the substitution within "&G_ECOM_TIMESTAMP." and the other one to take place in some kind of lexical order, e.g., from the top to the bottom of the HTML. The replacements happen in the engine, before anything is sent to the page. Then the browser interprets language constructs such as javascript calls which in your case includes an ajax invocation of a server-side application process.
    You need to re-think the machinery here.

  • Help - Item Assignment at Inventory Organization level from the Interface

    Hi,
    I have developed an Inventory Item upload Interface (MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE Table) for Oracle Apps R12.
    It works fine in uploading the Items to Master Org which the template is created. But When I tried to upload at Inventory Organization level it returns an error says 'Template or Template ID is not assigned for the Organization'.
    How can I assign/upload the Item at Inventory Organization Level? I have already tried the Organization Item Assignment Report, It works fine and assign the Items to relevant Organizations. But the parameters are Item Range which I cant use those parameters.
    Please help me to Upload items at Inventory Organization level from the Interface.

  • Sharepoint 2007 Setting Item level permission

    How do i set item level permission using SharePoint 2007 workflow. As I've been working on employee leave management, time sheet entry and attendance, quite similar to Orange HRM features...And also being a beginner who never had any hands on SharePoint.
    It would be really grateful if anybody comes up with all the help for me.
    Employees should not be able to see each other's personal information like contact details, email addresses, etc other than the Admin. How do i do that step by step automatically using a workflow using SharePoint 2007....?
    Thank You.

    you can use the http://spdactivities.codeplex.com/ Grant Permission on Item workflow activity from codeplex and build the workflow.

  • Using VM level application constant to set the attributes on the interview screen

    Hi All,
    We have a Performed By as one of the interview question which should be defaulted with the user id of the person who launched the OPA session (through web determinations).
    There is a user-id application constant which is available at the VM layer. Is there a way to set the Performed By question on the interview screen with this user-id by modifying the VM templates?
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    KK

    I tried with that code, its giving compile error for this: Can you please let me know what I am missing here:
    PreSeedValues.java:44: isUnknown(com.oracle.determinations.engine.EntityInstance
    ) in com.oracle.determinations.engine.Attribute cannot be applied to ()
                    boolean userIdKnown = (! performedBy.isUnknown()) && (! performe
    dBy.isUncertain() );
    Because an attribute exists for an entity, it can have different values across different instances, so, when you try to get the value (or check its know/unknown state) you need to pass in the entity instance. In you case the global entity instance: performedBy.isUnknown(ruleSessionGlobal) and performedBy.isUncertain(ruleSessionGlobal)
    Also, one more thing, we have around 50 different screens and each screen has this performed by attribute with different name. Now to set this in code, it would not be a good idea to write 50 lines for different performed by attributes. Can we have something like getting the screen name for the current screen in user context and user that as a prefix for the attrubute name. e.g. RA0084_Sheet_Performed_By in this RA0084_Sheet will be the interview screen name.
    It sounds like you want to set the user id when each screen is submitted. The OnInvestigationStartedEvent will only fire once, when the investigation starts. If you want to set an attribute when a screen is submitted, you probably want to use something like a OnValidateScreenEventHandler which is fired when a screen is submitted and has the screen details in the event.

  • How to maintain different prices for same item in different organizations

    hi all,
    We have noticed that the list price of an item at Item Validation Org level is getting defaulted when creating requisitions. We want to maintain different prices for the item for different organizations, so that the prices will be properly defaulted to requsitions depending on supplier and receiving org.
    We found one way of doing this. Using contract purchase agreement and Advanced Pricing price lists. Can anyone please let us know if there is any other way of achieving this??
    Also, I have a question regarding Advanced pricing Price Lists. I performed following steps.
    1.Set the QP: Licensed for Product profile to Purchasing
    2.Create and approve a contract purchase agreement in Oracle Purchasing
    3.Define Price Lists and Price List Lines (optional)
    4.Define sourcing rules and ASLs to automatically default source information onto requisition lines. Associate Contract to ASL.
    5. This will enable Oracle Advanced Pricing integration in the following Oracle Purchasing functionality:
    Requisition pricing
    Purchase order pricing
    But when I create requisitions, the price from price list is not getting defaulted automatically. In requisitions form, if I go to source tab and select source as a Contract Purchase Agreement, then the price from price lists is getting defaulted. Is there any way where the source for the requisition can be automatically defaulted to Contract and the price can be picked from price lists??

    Can oyu not make it an organization level item and specify the proce there instead of keeping it a master level item?
    Regards,
    Utsav.

  • Item attributes not read by IPC

    Requirement: Pricing in Web Catalog based on Product Master Attributes. (condition records use fields from product master data. These condition record do not get calculated in the Product price displayed in the produdct catalog).
    What we have done so far
    1.     Implemented BAdI CRM_ISA_HDR_PRICING and its method NEW_ITEM_VALUES_READ for passing additional Product Master Attributes  and their values.
    2.     Activated the call of the CRM_ISA_PRICING_ITMDATA_GET function module for additional data at item level by setting the parameter u2018doItemCallsu2019= TRUE.
    This function module calls the NEW_ITEM_VALUES_READ method of the CRM_ISA_HDR_PRICING BAdI. Additional item data is transferred by implementing the NEW_ITEM_VALUES_READ method.
    3.     The NEW_ITEM_VALUES_READ method returns the additional attributes in the structure ET-ITEMATTRIBUTES.
    We have referred the SAP Note: 1004533.
    Issue:
    1.     When debugging, the method NEW_ITEM_VALUES_READ is getting executed and the table structure ET_ITEMATTRIBUTES is populated with all the additional attributes (for e.g. ZZ_VARIETY) and the corresponding values.
    2.     In the Java Session log, when IPC is reading those values from the structure ET_ITEMATTRIBUTES, just after reading the first attribute it throws an exception as shown below and exits the loop that reads the values from the structure. Thus it does not able to read the additional attributes at all.

  • Problem with setting custom attribute and it being searchable

    I'm having an issue with setting a custom attribute and having it be searchable using Portal 10.1.4. The situation that we have is that we initially added a bunch of files to Oracle Portal using webdrive. Later on, we decided that we needed another custom attribute called "Pinned Item" that will be used for searching (boolean value) and gave it a default value of false. The attribute was then added to the "File" item type in the "Shared Objects" group.
    It appears that since this attribute wasn't initially available on the file object, we couldn't search on it so we decided to set it programatically. First, I tried using wwsbr.set_attribute but it errored out seemingly because the value wasn't set in the first place. If I set a value first by using the web front end, I could then use the set_attribute procedure.
    So, I moved on to using wwsbr_api.modify_item and it appears to set it (although everything is being set to false until I changed it to "text" instead of "boolean" which is OK because that's what I wanted anyway... see metalink bug 390618.1). I'm using the method outlined in metalink doc 413079.1. When I do set it to a "1", and edit the item the check box is checked indicating that it is set correctly. And if I just click "OK" to save the attributes after I open it everything works like it should.
    However, the advanced search (and custom search portlet) and the search APIs are not picking it up. I'm not sure if I'm hitting Metalink bug ID 5592472 or not as that's using the "set_attribute" procedure instead of the modify_item procedure. And their "workaround" of setting the attribute in the UI isn't really feasible for a couple thousand files.
    So far I've tried the following things to get it working:
    1. I am calling wwpro_api_invalidation.execute_cache_invalidation
    2. I have executed wwv_context.sync
    3. I cleared the page group cache
    4. I invalidated all of the web cache
    Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

  • Item created at site level can not be seen in other responsibilities

    Hi,
    I've made changes to one of the iProcurement pages.
    I added an item (type : Tip) at the site level . The context is as follows:
    scope : page
    site : include
    organization : A
    responsibility : B
    The Tip item's rendering properties are as follows:
    Site : True
    Organization : Inherit
    Responsibility : Inherit
    Now, I go to another responsibility C and when I looked for this item, it can't be seen.. The item could not even be searched in the personalizations page.
    The context for this as follows:
    scope : page
    site : include
    organization : D
    responsibility : C
    I just want to know that when an item created at site level should be seen by all the responsibilities right?
    why is that it is not getting displayed here?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Ram,
    I could clearly see that the item got created at site level.
    The function in the context window is left blank.
    site: include
    organization : A
    responsibility : B
    I could see the item in the B responsibility.
    But when I go to some other responsibility ( with a different organization), I could not see the item.
    This page I'm talking about is NonCatalogShoppingPG (iProcurement).

  • Problem with Configurator - Cannot Update Item Attributes for a Config item

    Hi!
    We configured an item to reproduce the following feature of Oracle Configurator in our business case (Oracle Configurator Modeling Guide - 115czmod.pdf): «For example, if you have raw materials that are ordered by lengths, do not create an item for each length. Instead, define a single item for each raw material with an attribute: Length. Then capture the needed length from the end user by a numeric input or from a List of Options, and associate that input with the attribute.»
    However, after we run the AutoCreate Configuration Items program the item was created in the Item Master but no Attribute was updated with the user defined values (within OConfigurator).
    We associated Item Attributes to Propoerties and these are associated to Feature Options.
    we wish to have the Item Descriptive Element Values (Item Catalog)
    transferred from the Configurator run time, after we configure any item.
    This is because we are working with item dimensions, such as length and width.
    We need to define these dimensions during the Configurator run time and have them transferred into the final configuration so that we can use them later on manufacturing. We wish to display these dimensions on a job.
    Support said that "The descriptive element value for the configuration item is copied from the model. This process will not look at the properties in the configurator.
    You may consider using the custom hook for catalog descriptions to get the selected attributes from CZ to the descriptive elements for the config item. Please see Custom CTO Packages under Setup page 2-63 in CTO Process Guide for more details."
    I'm trying to implement the suggested solution.
    I've customized user_catalog_desc procedure on CTO_CUSTOM_CATALOG_DESC package to populate the item catalog values.
    I'm failing to find the descriptive element values defined on configuratior for a specific inventory item id.
    I have managed to found a relation between "p_params.p_item_id" given in procedure user_catalog_desc and
    the configurated item_id in order to update the catalog data on the CTO_CUSTOM_CATALOG_DESC package.
    This is what I've done:
    procedure user_catalog_desc (
    p_params IN CTO_CUSTOM_CATALOG_DESC.inparams,
    p_catalog_dtls IN OUT NOCOPY CTO_CUSTOM_CATALOG_DESC.catalog_dtls_tbl_type,
    x_return_status OUT NOCOPY VARCHAR2)
    is
    begin
    declare
    counter number;
    i number;
    l_value varchar2(30);

    Although the customization seam correct the AutoCreate Configuration Items process
    terminates with warning, and the catalog info is not updated as expected.
    Can anyone help me on this?
    Many thanks in advance.

    How did you solve this issue? During my testing I found there to be no link to the order lines when I was within this program. Therefore I am having issues getting the configuration information to populate the catalog. Is there a link and I just was doing it wrong? Thanks for any help!
    Thanks,
    Angela
