Setting login data

I got the basic login.jsp.

I'm using JBoss' default stuff for JAAS (and i'm using DatabaseServerLoginModule, wich uses DB information to log the user). This way, when the user logs he/she is redirected to the page they previously requested (if login is sucessful).
I'd like to set some HttpSession variables right at the login, but i don't know how to do that because everything is automatic (JBoss uses it's own resources and does the login for me). So, how could i intercept JBOss' login schemma and set my variables???

maybe you can use a filter or if you want to set some parameters at the beginning of a session a listener like HttpSessionListner is maybe useful for you.

If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.
Have you set up your iCloud account on your replacement phone, and is it working properly on that phone?

Depends on what you trying to setup but for purchases, you can roll down at the very end of the iTunes/AppStore pages to logout of your current account and then login into a different one. Then your purchase will be billded to this new account. Everything will sync as you used to but in order to use the purchased content in iTunes or other devices, you will need to authorize them (you can have up to 5 devices authorized for an account).

Visible login data in log file

when i use an import command via MaxL and log the process with "spool on" the SQL login data can be seen in the log file.

When i set a spool off before that statement and a spool on afterwards i miss any information of the import process.
Is there any way to hide or encrpt the login data?

Set Time & Date Automatically

Hi folks, I ventured into the Time/date settings and have my time zone set to Eastern USA, and checked the set time/date automatically setting. Then I locked that window via the paclock in the lower left.
How often does Snow Leopard ping those servers? What would happen if for whatever reason the time server was not reachable?
What if the LAN I'm on has its own time service?

I found this thread while investigating a solution for the same problem on my one-month-old unibody MBP running 10.5.6. The clock on my MBP and my old G4 iMac have never been in sync because the iMac (forever stuck on Tiger) can set the time automatically using a time server and the MBP cannot.
I keep all of the System Preferences which have lock/unlock capability locked. Once I unlocked the Date & Time preferences and enabled the "automatic" option, re-locking or leaving Date & Time unlocked had no effect. If I quit System Preferences, the "Set date & time automatically" option in the Date & Time pane would be unchecked the next time I opened System Preferences and went into the Date & Time pane.
I tried the new user creation--no admin privileges--and that did not have any effect, so I deleted the non-admin user. On a whim, I created another admin user (my account is an admin). Before logging in as the new admin user, I made sure the "automatic" option was enabled and the Date & Time pane was locked. I think I quit System Preferences at this point, but I am not absolutely certain. I used fast user switching to login as the new admin user, went into the Date & Time preferences pane, and the "automatic" option was checked. I switched between the accounts a couple of times, going in and out of System Preferences in each account and the "automatic" option stayed enabled. I logged out of both accounts and the "automatic" option survived when I logged back into my usual account. The next thing I did was delete the new admin user and restart the computer. When I logged in normally, the "automatic" option was still set.
I have no idea why creating a new admin account would solve the problem and I would be really interested to know if it works for anyone else....

Problem as following: when I start Ovi Suite it ask for my Ovi account (with I have) so I login using my login data and select remeber. I quit Ovi Suite and start it again: first this it ask are my login data.
Yet another problem of this **bleep** software.

You need to create RFC detsination in the other SAP System. And you need to set up RFC Trusted/Trusting Systems using transaction code SMT1.

Login Data Control

I am trying to use Login Data Control that comes with WebCenter Portal application.
I dragged & dropped it's handleLogin() method on my jsfx page as ADF parameter form. It created 2 text boxes for username & password each & a button to execute handleLogin() method. Now if I enter username & password (weblogic/weblogic1) & click this button, it should ideally call handleLogin() method... nothing happens, not sure if it called handleLogin() method of LoginDC class or not (this data control is created with LoginDC class - checked it's definition).
Checked code of handleLogin() method - it should redirect to 'success page' if login succeeds. 'success page' is an attribute in LoginDC class.
How do I set this attribute before calling handleLogin() method?
Later I created a custom data control which extends LoginDC:

Just use the OOTB managed beans.

Safari: login data not remembered + login into this board here fails!

I am having 2 problems with Safari:
At first since a few days (or at least I started to notice it since that time) my login data to internet boards is no longer beeing remembered by Safari. I have to log in again and again each time i visit the forums.
I tried deleting the cookies and then even setting back Safari, but both didn't help.
I then wanted to post it here on the apple-discussions-board to get help, but the bad supprise was, that i cannot login to this board via Safari anymore! So I find myself here now in the uggly situation to post this here from my fathers PC, because with InternetExplorer on this PC i am able to log in. :/
I heared from other ppl on other Forums, that they have similar experiences, at least concerning the fact, that their login data is not remembered anymore for forums. Some say it occured since 10.5.6 .
It would be great if some1 official, could help me here, since it is concerning my private AppleID. But I am thankfull for any Help.

After pressing sign in i am led to a dialogue that is made for creating a new account. The interesting thing there is, that there is neither entered an Apple ID there, nor a Text field, where i could enter one. The area to the right of "AppleID" is simply emptym, and next to it there is a link for logging out of this ID.

It was exactly what iBod sugested in the first answer - i had a special letter (?) in my second name. I first didn't think of it because i thought he meaned the alias or AppleID.
I'll mark this topic as solved, and open a new one concerning the auto-login issue seperately, so noone gets confused.

I Have to type login data two times befor forwarding

I have a problem, if I start my application I am on the page 101 (login).
If I type my name and password, and click OK, then I dont go to my first page.
Instead of that I go to my login in page again.
If I type my login data a second time and click OK, then I go to my first application page.
OK?
I repeat, I have to type login data two times, befor I go away from my login page.
Can anybody tell me why?

ok I found out following:
If I go to my login page and look into my application elements I see following:
FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL with value: -
I type in my login data and press enter, and I keep on my loginpage.
If I look into my application element again I see following:
FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL with value: f?p=31370|1|1|2690545713467739
thats the right value,
But why is that element not set on my fist login???
Can anybody say it me?
I tryed to set the FSP_AFTER_LOGIN_URL element manul.. now its set since the begin..
but I have to login twice times anymore..

Trying to programmatically set the data-source for a Crystal reports report.

I've got the following existing procedure that I need to add to in order to programmatically set the data-source (server, database, username, and password) for a Crystal reports report.
I added the connectionInfo parts, but can’t figure out how to attach this to the existing
this._report object.
This is currently getting the connection data from the report file, but I now need to populate this connection data from a 'config.xml' text file.

Set variable date in a procedure with current month and previous month

Hi guys, I need to set two date range in one procedure. The date should be
@datefrom the third day of the current month
@dateto the seventh day of the current month
@datefrom-1 the third day of the previous month
@dateto-1 the seventh day of the previous month
format like @datefrom '2014-03-03' @dateto '2014-03-07'
@datefrom '2014-02-03' @dateto '2014-02-07'
The problem for me it's going to be the jump between the years...2014 to 2015...any advice?

How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro & Database table

Dear friend,
I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?
Sorry if my question is simple, I had try to find solution myself, but it not found

You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:

You can place the above class file in src folder and you can use this class in webdynpro.
You can have another UserInfo class for reading and writing the data into the DB .

I'm trying to connect via Hana Studio to a Hana One instance I have configured in AWS, following the guides & videos in the Hana Academy.
When adding the system in Hana studio, I get an error message after inputting the SYSTEM password:
The system is not reachable, the login data could not be considered
I've seen another post in the forum where the user solved the issue by resetting the SYSTEM password to a password without special characters, but mine is already "special character" free.
Are there others who have had difficulties when adding a new system?

I downloaded the SAP HANA Studio from "Get your own SAP HANA, developer edition on Amazon Web Services (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-28294)", specifically at SAP HANA Studio, developer edition and SAP HANA Client, developer edition, for Windows XP 32-bit. Is this HANA One? How to know the version of HANA server? How to make my Internet or firewall allow me to go out to the JDBC port? I am just learning to deal with these computer-science issues.

I suppose you are using HANA One (which you can only launch today from AWS Marketplace and HANA costs 99 cents/hr). If it is HANA One, which version of HANA One you are using? Please make sure you are using the same version of HANA Studio with HANA Server? Instance number in HANA One is 00.
If you HANA One, by default, it will open all the necessary ports. Please make sure you are Internet or your firewall allow you to go out to the JDBC port. If not, you cannot connect your studio behind your firewall with HANA server in the cloud.

Error when trying to set a date type edit field

I have an edit text field in a form which is bounded to a date type
database field using dbDataSource.
When i try to set the edit text field value with Today's date by code.
I recieve an error message that the value which
i'm trying to set is not legal. the error number is [131-183].
I use the following code to set the edit field:

Hi!
When writing to EditText.Value you must always use the B1 "DB-Format" as String.
The following examples are assuming (it's a must!) that the EditText-Fields are bound to a corrosponding DataSource (Type Date, Price etc...)
MyDateEditTxt.Value="20080207"
MyPriceEditTxt.Value="1341.79"
The best of it: It's Windows and SBO-GUI-Language independent.
EditText.String must always be written with the format of the actual Language of the SBO-GUI, which can be changed by the user....
