Setting Namespace

Hi,
The Generated Soap Request from Weblogic is some thing similar to below.
Weblogic is putting the default namespace instead of the one defined in my XSD
file.
So is there any way to configure in workshop, so that it will use the name defied
in XSD.
<ns1:purchase-order xmlns:ns1="http://openuri.org/easypo">
<ns1:customer>
<ns1:name>Doris Kravitz</ns1:name>
<ns1:address>Bellflower, CA</ns1:address>
</ns1:customer>
</ns1:purchase-order>
Thx
Raj

Hi Raj,
Sorry, but I'm not sure I understand the question. You're saying it is
picking up the wrong namespace and it should be something other than
http://openuri.org/easypo defined in the schema? Is it possible they are
semantically the same? Could you give us a snip of the XSD in question?
Thanks,
Bruce

  • Setting Namespace for Xalan

    I'm using JAXP 1.2
    I have a custom sax parser (implements XMLReader) that reads csv files then sends SAX events to a stylesheet for translation. My problem is that Xalan requires a namespace-aware SAX parser. The SAXParserFactory has a method (setNamespaceAware()) which allows you to change this to "true", since the default is "false". Since I'm not using the SAXParserFactory to create my reader, I'm not sure how to set this using my custom parser. I have implemented the setFeature and getFeature by storing the values in a HashMap. See code below. I then execute the setFeature for my parser before I use the translator to set namespace to true.
    csvReader.setFeature("http://xml.org/sax/features/namespace-prefixes",true);
    csvReader.setFeature("http://xml.org/sax/features/namespace",true);
    I'm not sure how to get Xalan to recognize these Features without creating a parser from the Factory. Any ideas?
    /***************** CODE SAMPLE *****************/
    private Map featureMap = new HashMap();
    public boolean getFeature(String name)
    throws SAXNotRecognizedException, SAXNotSupportedException {
    Boolean featureValue = (Boolean) this.featureMap.get(name);
    return (featureValue == null) ? false
    : featureValue.booleanValue();
    public void setFeature(String name, boolean value)
    throws SAXNotRecognizedException, SAXNotSupportedException {
    this.featureMap.put(name, new Boolean(value));
    }

    Here's some code I have in production:SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
    XMLReader reader = spf.newSAXParser().getXMLReader();
    reader.setContentHandler(handler);
    reader.setProperty("http://xml.org/sax/properties/lexical-handler", handler);
    reader.setFeature("http://xml.org/sax/features/namespaces", true);
    reader.setFeature("http://xml.org/sax/features/namespace-prefixes", false);And here's the method that produces the "handler" object:private synchronized TransformerHandler getHandler(String xslFile) throws TransformerConfigurationException {
      SAXTransformerFactory factory = (SAXTransformerFactory)TransformerFactory.newInstance();
      Templates t = (Templates)templates.get(xslFile);
      if (t == null) {
        t = factory.newTemplates(new StreamSource(new File(getServletContext().getRealPath(xslFile))));
        templates.put(xslFile, t);
      return factory.newTransformerHandler(t);
    }This works for me. The difference is that I am using Saxon instead of Xalan to do the transformation, and possibly that is a significant difference.

  • Changing / Setting Namespace Prefix in SAX

    I am using sax to parse a document and I was wondering how I could change an existing namespace prefix or add one to the front of every element. I am using an XML standard called PIDX which requires each element to look like this "<pidx:ELEMENTNAME>". I know this should not be required but the standard requires it. I am familiar with using the startElement and endElment methods but I am not sure how to set a prefix. Any help or examples would be appreciated.

    I recognize all of the words in the item you posted, but when I tried to parse the whole message, I got nothing.
    If you are using SAX to parse a document, it is just telling you what it sees by calling the various SAX methods like startElement, etc. If the XML document should have namespaces for all elements and it doesn't, it is not the fault of SAX, but of the program that created the XML data. So, you cannot set a prefix in SAX. You can be told by SAX that it saw a prefix, and by not seeing a call, you can tell that there was no prefix.
    How is the XML data generated? That is where you should first be concerned.
    In this case, SAX is just the messenger telling you what is in the XML data.

  • Setting namespace prefix with JAXB

    I'm trying to build and use a JAXB application.
    1. Generate the Java source files by submitting the XML Schema with Namespace to the binding compiler.
    2. Compile the Java source code.
    3. Marshal the data to new XML documents(valid XML document).
    But namespace prefix of XML Schema doesn't equal namespace prefix of new XML document.
    The prefix of new XML Schema is "heo". But, the prefix of new XML document set as "ns1" at discretion.
    Is there any way to solve namespace prefix setting?
    Thank you for your help.

    Why is java the only one doing this?
    I know prefixes are arbitrary, but when groups/individuals design XML docs, the instinct is to specify unique prefixes and to expect them coming in and out of other systems.
    When joe-developer emails an API to a buddy, she's got to include a lot more info every time, not just "cool:news" vs. "bad:news" but "cool:news" and "xmlns:cool=uri-foobar-smyte" and ...
    Sooo much simpler to handle the xml when its not only declared correctly, but you can expect specific prefixes. Less lines in writing tests, less lines in parsing out namespace declarations in order to expand them to uris and then map those to the random prefixes... blah.
    If you are concerned about dropping uri's then THAT should be the exception to the rule, then you write tests to lookup the namespace-uri.
    I suppose sun's xml stack is kind of a lesson to teach us developers to handle xml the orthodox way, using random prefixes, thanks for that.
    Classic: look at the amount of code it takes to parse xml in java. Then add on complexity (weirdness) in terms of random prefixes .... then compare that to .net/python/ruby/php/perl/c/c++ ... sun is all alone on this one and about 10x more verbose.
    At least honor the xml prefixes declared and developers round the world will appreciate the boost in productivity.

  • How to set namespace if target server are clustered?

    There is only one target namespace when creating Server object while there are 7 web servers with 7 RFP Submitter. So we cannot assume the namespace.
    Web Services running on them. Target namespaces are different on different web servers.
    Due to load balancing, the incoming RFP request can come to any of the web servers.
    Can I remove the dependency from the target namespace or other way to solve it?
    Any comments are well appreciated.

  • What is the best way to change a namespace in an xml document

    Hi,
    I need to change an xml namespaces. The xml has about 200 elements and every element may have a namespace attribute (namespaces are all the same).
    Is there any better solution then the following function?

  • Adding Namespace in Sender Payload

    Hi Gurus,
    I am stuck up with an issue.
    My input file looks like this:
    <ITEM>
        ABC
        DEF
    </ITEM>
    But, we need to create a structure like below in PI:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_DATA xmlns:ns0="http://xyz.com/MN/">
    <ITEM>
              ABC
              DEF
    </ITEM>
    </ns0:MT_DATA>
    I have tried removing the namespace from MT, and it is working fine.
    But I need to implement Java Mapping for this requirement.
    I have found blogs which tells me, how to add a namesapce. But then I do not know how to add the ending tag </ns0:MT_DATA>
    Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    "System setting does not allow changes to be made to object NOTE 0001300023". I think I should SE06 to modify system change option, but I don't know which one. Please help.

    Hi,
    If you login in German you can see the variable %1 being replaced by "SDF/" in the Help window.
    Or you  can find the text in the note:
    «/SDF/CCMS_READ CCMS_CREATE_COMP_DOWNLOAD»
    Go to SE03 and expand Administration node, Set System Change Option and set Namespace prefix /SDF to Modifiable.

  • Is there better way to do this?  (Xml Pretty Print | node removing)

    Hi all, I have been working at home on a small project to help my Java Jedi training. :-)
    My app saves quotes from authors in an xml file.
    I have a class [XmlRepository extends Thread] that holds control of an xml file to handle requests for Nodes.
    When I remove a node I get a Line Space above the node that was removed, or better put my node gets replaced by a empty line.

No, there's already a new-line character after the node that was removed. And there was one before that node too. You didn't remove either of those, so after the removal there are two consecutive new-line characters. As you can see.
    And no, trying to pretty-print the XML document won't remove any of those. It might add whitespace to make the document nicely indented, but it won't ever remove whitespace. If you want whitespace removed then you'll have to do it yourself.
    For example, after you remove a node, also remove the node following it if it's a whitespace text node. Or something like that.

    I am not sure if it's attempting to authenticate to AD or not, and if so, why it might be failing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Also, while you're troubleshooting, I found Adium's debug window to be invaluble for showing errors during logon (even if you plan to use Messages).
    You can open it in debug mode by holding option + click Adium.app, select "start in debug mode". Then in Adium menu > Debug window.

  • AD / OD Kerberos issues with Mavericks

    Hello.
    I want to post on here, as I've been fighting with Kerberos for the last two days, this has actually stopped me moving on with further development / testing of a project that will be deployed to a client site within the next 2 weeks. The lab is on an isolated port-based VLAN with a separate route out of the firewall.
    So here is how my lab looks:
    MACSVR 2013 Mac Mini Server - 16gb RAM - 256gb SSD / 12tb Thunderbolt Promise array, Running 10.9.4 and Server.app 3.1.2, fully updated.
    WINSVR Genero-Dell Pro Workstation - 4gb RAM, 160gb HDD, Running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64, fully patched.
    MACCLI1 2010 Macbook Air - 2gb RAM - 80gb HDD, Running 10.6.8, fully updated.
    MACCLI2 2013 Macbook Air - 8gb RAM - 256gb SSD, Running 10.9.4, fully updated.
    WINCLI 2008 HP Laptop - 2.5gb RAM - 60gb HDD, Running Win7 Enterprise x86, fully patched.
    My client's AD environment is .Local based (great eh?), so I have set this test lab with as many details as close as possible to what is on-site.
    Here's what the domains/DNS looks like:
    AD: testdomain.local
    OD: ODM set up on macsvr.testdomain.local
    WINSVR runs DHCP/DNS and has DNS/PTR records set up for the MACSVR
    The MACSVR server is bound to AD on WINSVR for Permissions/ACL's on AFP/SMBX file shares. This *works* (we all know the SMBX is on Mavericks is absolutely rubbish - but permissions work and this is all I really care about during this specific phase of testing).
    MACCLI1/2 are bound to OD (for computer group managed preferences) and AD (for login and auth), they log in with AD credentials, this again, works, homesync and automounting of WINSVR at login is fine. Now, when I click MACSVR in the shared computers section of Finder, I can authenticate to MACSVR and see shares with WINSVR AD credentials, however, I would like Kerberos to deal with this as I am after all logged in to the Mac with an AD account, I have a feeling this has something to do with the .local TLD.
    WINCLI is bound to AD simply for the login and auth, it can talk fine to MACSVR and WINSVR SMB sharepoints using NTLM/Kerberos/Credential Matching. The Windows machines are supposed to be more challenging!
    So here is some output from MACSVR, Starting with changeip:
    macsvr:~ ladmin$ sudo changeip -checkhostname
    Password:
    Primary address     = 192.168.141.2
    Current HostName    = macsvr.testdomain.local
    DNS HostName        = macsvr.testdomain.local
    The names match. There is nothing to change.
    dirserv:success = "success"
    And dsconfigad:
    macsvr:~ ladmin$ dsconfigad -show
    Active Directory Forest          = testdomain.local
    Active Directory Domain          = testdomain.local
    Computer Account                 = macsvr$

    So I'm kinda lost here, I've ran the command sudo dsconfigad -enablesso on MACSVR and rebooted the server / clients to see no difference. I still have to manually auth.
    I've also been trying and failing to get the sso_util command to work to add another realm. If I'm still fighting with this I think I'm simply going to re-image this Mac Mini and start again.
    Does anyone know how to get single sign on working in Mavericks bound to an AD domain?

    Hello, I have the same problem here.
    While trying to find a solution, I discovered the main difference between an old 10.6.8 server where AD user can access shares with SSO and a Mavericks one where AD users have to authenticate (MACSVR).
    If I issue "sudo serveradmin settings dirserv", I can see that the line "dirserv:kerberizedRealmList:defaultRealm =" is different.
    On the 10.6.8 server I have "dirserv:kerberizedRealmList:defaultRealm = MY.CORP.COMPANY.COM" (that's the AD domain/kerberos realm) while on the Mavericks server I have "dirserv:kerberizedRealmList:defaultRealm = MACSVR.MY.CORP.COMPANY.COM"
    Unfortunately I have no idea how to change this.
    Hope this helps in finding a solution
    Cheers
    Carlo

  • Help appending how many times an event ID has occurred next to the unique Event ID.

    Hello,
    I am trying to figure out how to find how many times an event occurred and then append that next to the single  -unique Event ID.
    The closest I can find is the Sort-Object Count but I can't figure out how to get that work within the below script.
    Any help would be appreciated, the below script works already. but just doesn't have that Event ID count.
    Thank you for any help.
    Below is the
    script to pull all Event Logs for each server, filter them to only display Warnings, Failures, and FailureAudits for Application, System, and Security logs and then remove all duplicate EventIDs so only 1 of each is shown. it then exports that info into a
    .CSV per server.
    param([string]$days= "31" )
    $servers = @("Server1", "Server2" "Server3", "Etc")
    $user = Get-Credential
    #Set namespace and calculate the date to start from
    $namespace = "root\CIMV2"
    $BeginDate=[System.Management.ManagementDateTimeConverter]::ToDMTFDateTime((get-date).AddDays(-$days))
    $store = "C:\Powershell\MonthlyMaintenance"
    foreach ($computer in $servers)
    $filter="TimeWritten >= '$BeginDate' AND (type='Warning' OR type='Error' OR type='FailureAudit')"
    Echo "Pulling Event Logs for $computer ..."
    Get-WmiObject Win32_NTLogEvent -computername $computer -Filter $filter |
    sort eventcode -unique |
    select Computername,
    Logfile,
    Type,
    @{N='TimeWritten';E={$_.ConvertToDateTime($_.TimeWritten)}},
    SourceName,
    Message,
    Category,
    EventCode,
    User |
    Export-CSV C:\Powershell\MonthlyMaintenance\$computer-Filter.csv
    Echo "Done."

    Unfortunately adding that to the script just outputs a bunch of jargon:
    #TYPE Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.Internal.Format.FormatStartData
    ClassId2e4f51ef21dd47e99d3c952918aff9cd
    pageHeaderEntry
    pageFooterEntry
    autosizeInfo
    shapeInfo
    033ecb2bc07a4d43b5ef94ed5a35d280
    Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.Internal.Format.AutosizeInfo
    Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.Internal.Format.TableHeaderInfo
    9e210fe47d09416682b841769c78b8a3
    I did try adding it in various ways and removing the initial # Sort EventCode -unique | # and I just get the same jargon
    Am I adding it in wrong some how?
    Thank you again for any help.
    param([string]$days= "31" )

    This exception means that xml namespaces are different.
    Etc. soap has xml element which doesn't belong to namespace of parent xml element and namespace is set without prefix.
    I had such problem.
    Try to set namespace prefix for this element.
    Example:
    <el1>
    <el2 xmlns="http://..."/>
    </el1>
    Should be
    <el1>
    <q:el2 xmlns:q="http://..."/>
    </el1>
