Setting up FileName for Output file in SendPort

Hi - I have a requirement setting up FileName in output file. For instance say, whatever I receive in the 'FathersName' field that Output File should be with that File Name.
For e.g. if data received in FathersName field is JOHN, output file name should be JOHN.xml
I am using File Adapters on Receive and send side.
Can this be achieved just by Messaging Scenario or do I need to implement this using Orchestration ?
If so, please advise on how to do this ?

To achieve this, you will have to set your filename value on one of the Context Properties available as a File Adapter macro. For example FILE.ReceivedFileName is mapped to the %SourceFileName% macro.
You have several options to do this:
Set FILE.ReceivedFileName in an Orchestration.  It does not have to be Promoted.
Write the Property ReceivedFileName in namespace
http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2003/file-properties in a Custom Pipeline Component.
If FathersName can be used in the file name unmodified, you set FathersName as a Promoted Property on the schema and Promote directly to FILE.ReceivedFileName.
For 1 & 2, you will have to extract FathersName somehow, such as a distinguished field.
A Custom Pipeline Component or direct Promotion are the only way to achieve this in Messaging only.

    Thanks,

Do you use any characters in the password that might confuse the zip command? (like '-' or ';'?)
If I use the command in RHEL4:
    cd /tmp
    zip -P password -r tt.zip gconfd-oracle

  • Open dataset filename for output in text mode encoding default

    Hi,
When I excute this command I get a sy-subrc = 0, but no file is created. This happens in an ECC 6.0 system. In 4.6C works ok.
filename has the following structure '
    server\directory\filename'
    What am I doing wrong??
Thank you very much for your your help.
    Regards.

    Hi,
Can u tell what syntax u have written for open statement.
In programs with active Unicode check, you must specify the access type (such as ... FOR INPUT, ... FOR OUTPUT, and so on) and the mode (such as ... IN TEXT MODE, ... IN BINARY MODE, and so on). If the file is opened using ... IN TEXT MODE, you must still use the addition ... ENCODING. If the Unicode check is enabled, it is possible to use file names containing blanks.

  • How to programmatically disable prompts for output file names in Acrobat X

My code to programmatically disable output file names (below) is not working on a Windows 7 64-bit machine using Acrobat Distiller X.  It works perfectly on a Windows XP machine with Acrobat Distiller 8.
The latest API Reference I was able to find is dated June 2008.  My logic follows this convention.
I have confirmed that the registry key is updated as specified below.  I have also confirmed that I am able to write to the directory indicated.
Please provide any suggestions to resolve.
    Thank You!

                     C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\MSACCESS.EXE, _
                     T:\PDF Files\Current Week\NFS_Lori,Test.pdf

I remember seeing that the problem is thunking. A little more specifically, because it's a 32-bit driver but a 64-bit executable, there's a 32-bit system spooler process which will always show up as the EXE name.

  • Get filename for batch file update

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I am making a batch sequence to convrt documents. AS part of the sequence, I'd like to cahnge the Title property to match the filename. I have added the Description command, and can see how to add standard text (such as 'Document Title') fro every file, but how can I make it dynamic so that it uses whatever the filename is?

VERY close. I added an 'Execute Javascript' command to the batch sequence, and used the formula you provided (and thank you for that!). The problem seems to be that when the sequence saves the new pdf, it has a title (or filename at that point) of 'ADPFF1.tmp' and numerically increments for each file that it processes, even though the original filename gets assigned to the new pdf file. Any ideas?

  • It should be possible to set default behavior for all file types

It should be possible to set a default action for all file types. I'm so tired of having to manually sit and say "save this file" because Firefail always defaults to "open with" and has disabled the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on."
And spare me the zealotry religious excuses for why its the fault of websites and not Firefail

I do want users to have full control to be able to set any folder view they want by using Apply to Folders; I just want to set the initial/default view to Detail because that matches what the majority of my users want.
That is, what registry setting changes when I go to a picture folder, change the view to Detail, and click Apply to Folders? Having done that, I still retain the ability to change it to some other view and apply that to folders. But what registry setting
represents the change I just made when applying Detail view to all Picture folders.?
This settings is simple via GUI, but it is related a lot of registry keys, I made a test in my machine, capture the "Apply to Folders" process using Regshot tool (this is a small tool which can compare the regsitry changes after you change some
settings), and this is the result:
this is part of the registry changes, a plenty of registry keys and values need to be changed. hard to list them here. if you have interests, I recommend the tool Regshot, it can help you capture the regsitry changes.

  • Cannot set default programs for a file extension in Gnome

After a gnome upgrade (cannot remember when), I can no longer set the default program for a particular file extension by right clicking the file in nautilus -> going to "properties" -> going to "open with" tab -> highlighting a program -> pressing "set as default".

The program I was trying to set was totem for default video playback; wine had made windows media player the default player prior. Interestingly, once I installed gnome-mplayer; the default program changed to gnome-mplayer and I was then able to switch default programs. This error may be related to wine.

  • Customized filename for output

    Hi,
Is there someway to set the filename of an outgoing file adapter based on the contents of the file? We're processing invoices and would like to include the invoicenumber in the file containing the invoice ( each file can only contain exactly one invoice ).
    Thanks in advance
    Thomas

I use the following code in the xsl to create a custom filename:
    <xsl:variable name="HR_ID"
    select='/imp1:verstuurPlaatsingRequest/imp1:PlaatsingCompleet/ns1:StaffingAction/ns1:ReferenceInformation/ns1:HumanResourceId[@idOwner="StaffingCompany"]/ns1:IdValue[@name="id"]'/>
    <xsl:variable name="FILENAME"
    select="concat('albronuit_', kim:getCurrentDateTime('yyyyMMddHHmmssSSS'),'_', $HR_ID, '.xml')"/>
    <xsl:variable name="SET_FILENAME_OUT"
    select="ehdr:setOutboundHeader('/fhdr:OutboundFtpHeaderType/fhdr :fileName', $FILENAME, 'fhdr=http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/ftp/;')"/>
The first step takes the id from my input xml, the second creates the filename and the third passes this filename to the outboundheader.

  • Dynamic Filename for Reciever File Adapter

    Hi All,
Can anyone answer to some of my quesries which are as follows
    a) . Currently Iu2019m working on an IDOC-to-File scenario in which I need to create zip file on file server by using a payload value.  I
search sdn and found a bean that can be used to create zip file which is PayLoadZipBean. Iu2019m referring the below weblog for creating file name dynamically.

My question is can anyone explain or provide me the step by step procedure in detail for the prerequisite which are mention in the weblog, i.e.
u201CAssuming that the following have been done and configured.
1.A value table has been created in the ABAP stack of the WAS in which XI is running and the entries as the file types, which will be written into the files are maintained.
2.Create a number range object in SNRO transaction in the same ABAP stack which will be having the sub objects as the file types maintained in the value table with their number ranges maintained. u201C
    b) .Can we use all mapping techniques (ABAP, Java, XSLT and Graphical) in a single scenario if yes then how to trigger them and which one executes much faster?
    c) .Can we trigger an RFC asynchronously and how?
Your help is highly appreciated and

Hi  Use dynamic configuration UDF to create file name dynamically.its very easy search in sdn you will find the code, even you can create file directory name dynamically.
In receiver file communication channel if you use PayLoadZipBean it will do Zipping of your message, for this you need to add this bean name additional parameters section in Receiver Channel.
If you want to create zip file based on pay load value check the condition at mapping level based on that call the service,if you not required zip file in other case for that you need to create one more file receiver communication channel.

We can use all mappings single scenario, how mean just add the mapping names in Operation/Interface mapping.
As per my understanding Message Mapping works faster then JAVA then XSLT then ABAP,but it depends on how many lined of code you written.
    c) .Can we trigger an RFC asynchronously and how?
Yes we can use RFC Asynchronous, search in sdn you will find it,if unable to find let me know.
