Setting up JDev - Can't run test_fwktutorial.jsp. PLS HELP !

In serious need of assistance if you could help. I downloaded the JDeveloper version for 12.1.1 (in patch 8431482). I have gone through all the setup steps (have done it over and over and over). When I get to the last step to run the test_fwktutorial.jsp I cannot get it to work. I get a new IE window that says: "Error Page" in red and below it: "You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance."
I enabled FND: Diagnostics for the id I am using and I don't even see the option to show the error stack.
I've created the environment variable JDEV_USER_HOME. Downloaded the .dbc file and have successfully tested the connection. Assigned the Framework responsibilities to the id I am using. Verified the id/pwd on the runtime is correct. Made all the changes to the project as listed in the setup doc. I have done this many times to no avail.
I have also tried switching the OC4J preference to use local ip instead of local host's full name.
No matter what I do i can't get it to work. PLEASE provide assistance if possible.

Something strange... as I said we are running 12.1.1 so i downloaded JDEVELOPER from patch 8431482. I did all the setups several times and couldnt get it to work. Just as a test i downloaded JDeveloper from patch 7523554 and did the setup steps. Same steps worked first time.
Is there something possibly wrong with the version in patch 8431482 ? Or additional/different steps needed to use it ?

specific IP number. I have experience similar issue
before, because my win2003 is atached to a DHCP that
gives a variable IP numbers.Oracle apache configuration uses namebased virtual host options. These cannot be mixed by ip-based virtual host options. So this cannot be the problem ;)
Well it could just be that the server address or
fully qualified domain name were not listed in the
Internet Explorer trusted sites list.And we have a winner. The security for IE on Win 2k3 is absurt. You need to add our local server (fully qualified hostname, not just localhost) to trusted sites and it all works like a charm. -

Getting error while running test_fwktutorial.jsp
Hi,
Just installed JDeveloper with OA extension(patch# 4141787) on my PC for extending Oralce Apps 11.5.10.1 with OA Framework version 11.5.10.1CU.
Followed the instruction in reade_me file in the patch to install the Jdev. While exectuing the step 6 to run test_fwktutorial.jsp, I am getting the following error in the Embedded OC4J Server. Seems something is wrongly setup.

Cache Exception while running test_fwktutorial.jsp in R12

There is a Cache Exception encountered while running test_fwktutorial.jsp in R12 instance. It gives a "Success" messsage when tested for the data base connection. The base exception is shown as "null connection".

After finishing configuration procedure, I tried to test if it works. I can run test.jsp ok, but I can't run login.jsp correctly.
I got the message:

How can I correct the error?Another discrepancy I noticed...pg. 11 of the PTG installation guide specifies you add classpath to file classes111.zip in <PTG_HOME>/panama/lib subdir. I have classes12.zip in that dir.

Sorry, but you probably can't. You cannot sync from an Apple TV to a PC except for items purchased from the iTunes Store on the Apple TV. You'll need to restore from the backups you made of your iTunes library, which I presume you made?

I have created my own view named GP_NUIF_V and have also successfully established a Database connection,using FWK_TBX_TUTORIAL.I have developed a personal page in Oracle9i JDeveloper ,which is to fetch particular details from my view and show it .. but whenever I run my form I am continuously getting this type of error..pls,help me out ,as my project delivery is nearing..for this I am not been able to head on to registering the form..I have checked from Pl/Sql developer that my query is just running fine as I wanted it to be..I have also changed the FNDNAM in the .dbc file to my view name but it is giving me the same error..please,look at my error and suggest all other ways in how I can solve my problem ,as early as possible..

Please help. Got TopLink working, but now I can't run a JSP page
I am using JDeveloper 9.0.3.
I got TopLink working successfully. Meaning I can access the DB using my mapped TopLink classes from my java code in JDeveloper.
However, now I can't even run the default .jsp page.
I am getting the error:
Error instantiating application at file:/C:/LBIT/LBIT-oc4j-app.xml: Error parsing data-sources config at file:/C:/LBIT/LBIT-data-sources.xml: Fatal error at line 0 offset 0 in file:/C:/LBIT/LBIT-data-sources.xml: The encoding "windows-1252" is not supported.
If I go change the "LBIT-data-sources.xml" file to "ISO-8859-1," as soon as I run the .jsp page (from JDeveloper) the "LBIT-data-sources.xml" file gets overwritten with a new one that contains the "windows-1252" encoding line again.
What can I do to fix this???

AndyYou could change the encoding by doing the following.
Stop Embedded OC4J Server (Run | Terminate | Embedded OC4J Server)
Tools | Preferences
Select Environment
Change the Encoding to ISO-xxxxx
Click OK
Run your JSP now.
Atleast this should fix encoding generated into data-sources.xml

how can i do this..i am alrady set dynamice variant for Date.. there is option for D.. but in case of week there is a no option.

I think the way out is use the dynamic select option while setting up the varinat and use sy-datum to sy-datum+9 which should essentially serve the purpose.
While saving the variant, for that particular date field check the Selection variable checkbox, then Choose D
option and then choose current days + or - option from there.
