Several people have signed into gmail and yahoo mail on this computer and now their ID's come up - how do I get rid of these id's
When I go to sign in to either gmail or yahoo mail and click the n mouse the list of user names of people who have logged on comes up. How do I clear this list so only my user name comes up.

I have recently started to receive inappropriate mail. Although I have never opened it I can tell that it is of a pornographic nature. As well as this I constantly receive mail offering me P**** enlargement drugs. Since I am a lady of advanced years I want neither of theses !!! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this unwanted stuff. I receive at least 4 of them everyday and am quite frankly fed up putting them into junk and deleting them, but still they keep coming. I just updated my iTunes, and I need to delete photos from my iPod 4, and there is a Photo Library that synced to my iPod when i plugged it into my computer, and now it doesnt have the option to delete them off my iPod. How do I get rid of these photos? I have read other questions that say to plug the iPod into the computer and like un-sync it, but I downloaded the new iTunes and it doesnt have a photos tab. I have several tv episodes stuck in my downloads on my iPad. I receive an error, unable to download when I try to resume downloading. I can't clear them out of the download queue. How do I get rid of these from download?
You can always finish the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then the TV Shows to the iPad. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for available downloads. Finish the downloads and then sync the iPad.
As far as trying to finish the downloads on the iPad .....
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again. -
I use Google. My browser is set with Google.ca as my homepage and Google is my default search engine.
For a while I was getting messages asking me if I wanted to know how to make Yahoo my defaults...I managed to get rid of that crap...
But now I get bars popping up at the top of my screen asking me if I want to switch to Google...either my homepage or my default search engine...toss-up which one will come up when I open my browser.
Even though everything is set for Google I still get these obnoxious pushed "suggestions".
How do I get rid of these?
Right now it's looking like using IE is the only way...You will get them on IE. I suggest you also contact Google support, as this is also a problem on their end. I too have everything set to Google on both Firefox, Opera, IE, and Chrome and the only one not getting the annoying banners is surprising Google Chrome.

Hi Ive moved photos but they appear as duplicates in iPhoto. When you try and open them it says Photo can't be found. I have thousands. How do I get rid of these images?
Also I have many duplicate photos (from backups) It would be great to be able to remove all duplicates at one time, like in Itunes.

Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management. -
i need to free up storage on my iPhone 4s to do an update. I have turned off my photo stream, but when I go into Usage Settings, it says that photo stream is using 3.7gb of space. How do I get rid of this?
iCloud is not designed to "store" photos (as in long term storage). iCloud can be used to sync photos from one device to another (photo stream) and to store a backup of the camera roll. But that's pretty much it.
Camera roll is the group of all photos taken by the device (but not other photos synced to the device from another source). Your extra storage on icloud will do you no good. The recommended way of storing photos on a device is to sync them to a computer.
So, your questions..

3) On a computer, deleting large groups of photos is relatively painless. not so on a device.
4) You can't access photos on iCloud because they can't be store in icloud. You can't view/access photos in a backup on icloud unless you restore a backup to a device.

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.
If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Just got a new MacMini. Migrated files using Time Machine. However, now, on Launchpad, I see several Firmware updates that were relevant for the old machine, but not for the new one. How do I get rid of these updates? They won't delete!

That suggests a GPU, display or display connection issue. You will have to make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and have them examine the MBP. They should be able to determine exactly what the problem is. Take a picture of the display when this phenomenon occurs to show the technician in case you are unable to duplicate it.
