Shared Objects not imported properly

I am moving from 6i to 9i.
I exported my 6i applications.
I imported them into 9i.
The one application consists of some tables shared from another. I imported the source of the shares first.
In the RON the shared objects show correctly under the "Table Definitions", but they are absent in the Design Editor under the "Server Model Tab." Trying to reshare them causes an error (as expected).
How do I reconcile the database so the shared object show up properly ?

first if you did not initialize Task's user and it comes back uninitialized that does not sound like a problem.
Probably the read only User was cached and not explicitly refreshed by subsequent queries. I.e. if User is changed on the database that change won't necessarily get reflected in the toplink cache.
Try setting descriptor.alwaysRefreshCache(true);

Installed Oracle 10g on SUSE 9.2 server. When I reboot, Oracle does not come up. I get the error Shared object not found. The object it is looking for is libhasgen.so. I verified that this library exists on the system.
Does any one have any ideas?

Why do certain cd not import properly

Hi
Every now and again I get a cd which does not import properly, when itunes is importing the songs at some point the importing slows down by a ridiculous level after it finish that certain song the next one won't import and cause the disc drive to rotate faster and make a sort skipping sound.
I have been able to counter this by ticking the 'use error correction when importing CDs' option but this takes forever to import, none of my cd show any signs of damage and most of them are brand new.
Could this be a disc error/drm or my disk drive?

AS3 getRemote shared object not working

Hey,
I am having trouble with my shared object. It shows up as a
SO in the FMS console however the .data does not show up in debug
mode. I think the problem may be in the object Encoding. The onSync
event is called only once it connects but is not called again. And
when I call it, it traces back undefined.
Any help please?

Shared object not writing?

I have a client who has a video that is to only play once when a user visits. So I created a shared object to create a param that the video has been played. It works perfect locally and on my live test site. However when the client posts it on his ning website in the header it doesn't work. The strange thing is that live and locally on my server you can see the shared object and it's size through the advanced tab in Flash's privacy settings. When on his server the size just has two dashes? Ideas.

Well they have some crazy system for uploading to the server. When it finishes uploading it works fine except for the writing of the shared object. Does ning.com have the write permissions for flash disabled? Is that possible?
Here is what the client said about the upload process:
"Not yet. Here is what I have done.
1. Click on SWF and then click save to desktop
2.In order to upload SWF to NING platform you have do it through a blog
entry to get its own URL. Once I get that I copy the "http://.... all the
way to .swf" and insert in the script for the flash header in what is called
Analytics. This process has worked fine up until now and appears to load
the new SWF just fine.
3. When I refresh pages or switches tabs it still repeats
4. I have gone into Explorer Internet options and cleared all history but
still no change."

How do I fix sound not importing properly from a Fuji video capture (MPEG, 48000 compressed) on Premier Elements 11 (just imports chopped noise)?

Can anyone help? When I add .Mov MPEG video file captured with a Fuji camera (1920x1080 image, 29.97 frame rate, 48000Hz stereo compressed sound), although the video is smooth/good, the sound gets added but its just a clipped noise rather than the actual sound track. The video & sound play fine on all other software on my PC, even if just play the file using Adobe Organizer, BUT Premier will not import it correctly....help...

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running on? When you view and listen to the playback of the Timeline video in the Edit area monitor, are you working with the rendered or unrendered Timeline?
What is the model/settings of the Fuji camera that recording the video? The settings seem to be for 1080 but is that 1080i or 1080p?
Are you saying that your video has a .mov file extension? What is the significance of MPEG video - I am thinking in terms of video compression? AVCHD, H.264, MotionJPEG, or other for video compression?
What are you or the project setting as the project preset to match the properties of the source video?
(See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if they look grayed out.)
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer? If you go into Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime, do you see all the QuickTime presets? Please explore Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO settings Input as well as Output.

Local Shared Object not working in Firefox 2

I'm using a local shared object in my flash animation so that
the animation plays only once per user visit. It works fine in IE
6/7, but doesn't work at all in FF (the movie still plays when I
refresh the homepage, or come back to the homepage from another
page).
This is what I'm using:

Photo projects do not import properly from Elements to Premier Elements 10

I created two photo projects in Elements 10. All of the photos were taken from the same two cameras at roughly the same time in the same way. I put music to each project in Elements. I spent more than a few hours mating music to the still photos in both projects. I then imported both projects into Premnier Elements and combined them with a video project awaiting them there. One of the proejcts played in Premier exactly as it did in Elements. In the other project, however, the music was out of sync with the the photos; it started about two frames too early. Also at least one of the pictures had changed orientation. How do i get both photo projects to import properly?

What were the pixel x pixel dimensions of the Still Images?
What was the Frame Size, of the PrE Projects?
How do you plan on delivering the resultant files?

Objects not loaded properly

Hello,
I have an Object called "Task"
that has one-to-one relationship with a assigned "User" object. User descriptor has been defined as Read-only.
I update the "Task" object to point to a different assigned User.
When the client is updating "Task", If he/she initialized User with only the user ID (primary key) and rest of the data for User is not initialized, then the update happens properly to the Task table, but when I retrieve the Task object again to see the lastest data, the User information for Task is still set partially. The fields for User object that I had intentionally not initialized when updating the Task, are still coming back to me as null, after I retrieve the updated Task object.
Any suggestions why this is happening and how do I change this behavior?

Shared Object - Not retrieving and or saving correctly.

I've got big trouble this time using a SharedObject - a weird thing is - the same code / way of doing it - like saving and retrieving data from a SharedObject worked flawlessly in CS3.
What I try to archive:
Putting a byte array (screenshot data) in an array (images) and save this one in a SharedObject (data_vault).
I can see from the size of the SharedObject that something is saved to it - but - everytime I try to load I get errors.
From what I see when using "trace (images.length)" - the array has the length of X (=screenhots) - but when using the loadscreenshots() function, I just get error #1009 ("attribute of a null object is not possible") back and I cant read out the saved data.
This problem also occurs with numbers and other saved data like coordinates (Array like [ [x1, y1], [x2, y2] ]).
As I said, in an earlier version of Flash Player / CS3 with Actionscript 3 this code worked as it was.
I was even able to load Screenshots from the SharedObject which had been made at another computer.
Here what my code is looking like:

No, I have allowed unlimited diskspace usage by using the settings.sol (Sys and Local).
Those files permit it.
Also I see that the data becomes saved, but when I restart the flash file or switch back to the frame, where the loading function becomes executed even when the active session has not been ended, nothing becomes loaded and the error #1009 is raised.
With the same code, even with activated compression (compress/uncompress routine of the ByteArray Class) the data became perfectly loaded and the screenshots displayed almost instantly without any trouble using CS3 with Flash Player 9.
Just to mention, I recreated the SharedObject and Im not trying to use the one created in CS3, Flash Player 9.
Any more ideas? - This problem drives me crazy

Type object not imported during schema import

i made a schema level export from one database and imported in to another database, but i am not able to see any type object which was present in the source schema., please help if there is any method to import type object also.

PSD files not importing properly into AFX CS5?

I'm having a bit of trouble with After Effects CS5 and Photoshop CS5 .psd files.
Basically I've got a few images that I want to import into AFX as .psd files but when ever I do, all the images show the exact same image, yet when I open them in Photoshop CS5 the image that I made is there so I know I haven't saved over my files.
This occurs wether importing as multiple files or singular. I click the Photoshop sequence option as well as clicking the composition - keep all layer styles.
What am I doing wrong and why aren't my images showing up as individual images but rather all of them being the same one image regardless of what I've imported?
Do I have to import as footage rather than composition?

FrameMaker topics not imported properly

I used a trial version of FrameMaker 8.0 to estimate how long
it would take a contractor to convert my FrameMaker 6.0 files to
Adobe RoboHelp 7 webhelp. I made two different attempts.
Somehow, I was less successful than when I converted one FM 6
book to RH7 by way of Word.
During the first attempt, the each chapter became one long
topic in webhelp and every bookmark (e.g., FM index marker) got a
linked TOC entry.
During the second attempt I tried to be more careful. All
that got me was fewer entries in the TOC.
It seems the heading levels in the dialog for dividing up the
content into topics did not work for the obvious reason that the
source files did not haqve them. Instead of Heading 1, Heading 2,
and Heading 3, my source files had H1, H2, and H3. Is there a quick
way in RoboHelp to change such heading levels to correspond to the
FM formats? The topics were produced without any format variations
whatever. All the other formats were ignored as well. Can a css be
created quickly from the formats in FrameMaker?

It is not clear why you are importing the FrameMaker document
through Word. You can import it directly in RoboHelp.
You can map styles FrameMaker style H1 to RoboHelp style
Heading1, H2 to Heading2 and so on. That allows you to paginate the
FrameMaker document based on styles. If you selected convert
autonumbers to list and you are paginating on styles which have
auto-numbers, please select these styles in the Ignore Autonumbers
dialog.

RFC not imported properly from I Repository

Hi there,
I am facing following problem while trying to re-import an RFC from the repository. This RFC was changed in SAP (just the order of the fields) but these changes are not reflected in the new RFC imported.
I will try to explain it better:
First of all, i log on the SAP system in order to see the new export and import structures. And they are right there.
Later on, i import the RFC form the IR but the RFC i get does not contain the propper Request and Response structures (the order is not the right one).
I refreshed CPACache but this issue still remains.
Could you please provide some help on this?

Hi David,
Try to import it inot a different SCV (to confirm that ur new structure reflects in your SAP). If you ll find ur new structure there then you can delete the older one in your original CSV and can import it again.
