SharedByetArrayInputStream is returned by message.getContent (mail1.4.3)
Hi
I want to extract the body text and all the attachments of the mail with POP3. So i am getting a session, opening the INBOX folder and getting all the messages. After that for every message i am checking the mimetype. If it is multipart/*, then i am doing getContent & I am expecting MultiPart as return from message.getContent.
When ever i am trying to call message.getContent for multipart/* mimeType , I am getting SharedByteArrayInputStream. I have Also printed the mimetypes supported by the mailCapCommandMap Class and multipart/* mimetype is getting printed.
I am using mail.jar 1.4.3 and activation.jar 1.1.1 implementation version.
Can you please help me and point out where i am wrong.

But as far as i know, we get an inputstream because the java mail couldnot find the appropriate Datahandler for the corresponding mimetype. Hence if i am getting the multipart/* as the supported the mimetype, then i should get the MUltipart class from the getContent method & not the inputStream.
ALso please tell me how we can read the input stream to the different attachments & the body part of the mail.???_

Message.getContent() returns IMAPInputStream
When I run my class normally messageContent usually returns a class that is a Multipart. But when I package my appliction into a jar and run it, messageContent is returned as a IMAPInputStream. I do not know how to handle this, and can't find this class in the javadoc - what can I do?

After upgrading to Lion the bookmarks in Preview returns error message.
After upgrading to Lion the bookmarks in Preview returns error message : The File "****" couldn't be opened because you don't have permission to view it. To change the perimssion, select the item in finder and Choose File info. I have bookmarked plenty of files in Preview. How to overcome this error message???
Doesn't work Steve. I think it is an issue with Preview being sandboxed (check the sandbox column in Activity Monitor: Preview = Yes). Sandboxed apps restrict file access to those the user has explicitly selected. My theory is that this causes the unfortunate side effect of bookmarked or linked PDFs not working. A simple test: open a file with bookmarks, manually open the bookmarked file and then select the bookmark in the first file - it should open with no complaints about permissions (which leads to a weak workaround: open all the PDFs you intend to work with!).

How to return a message in a boolean method?
I am looking to return a message other than true or false using a boolean method. Is that possible to do without displaying the true, or false?

I am having difficulty getting ODBC connection between Oracle OWB app with an 11gR2 DB (running on a VirtualBox Linux) and SQL Server 2008 running directly on the host. (Windows 8)
I am trying to take a SQL Server 2008 feed into Oracle Ware house Builder, and think(!) I have read everything and configured it in accordance (but I presume not given 3 days of failed attempts to fix it). = dbo #### I have some doubts that you have a SQL Server database called dbo - one database that always exists is master - so as a test use master here or get the real database name of the SQL Server database you want to connect

Especially the last 2 parameters are mandatory. TDS_Version specifies the TDS Version you have to use to connect to the SQL Server and QuotedID is required for DG4ODBC as it surrounds objevt names by double quotes.
What happens now when you try to connect with for example isql - the ODBC test utility shipped with the ODBC Driver manager?
In addition, could you please do me another favour and check the word size of DG4ODBC and the ODBC Driver Manager as well as the ODBC Driver - just execute:

I am trying to batch convert cr2 to jpg. in bridge i go tools>ps>image processor and it returns a message "Image Processor.jsx could not be found." I updated cc to no avail. i am on mac 10.7.5

When I attempt to import some regular, commercial CD's, iTunes returns the message "The song names for this CD could not be found online. Do you still want to import the songs?" This has happened for four CD's in a row now. Today, after importing some other CD's in the regular way, all of a sudden, iTunes won't recognize the Eagles - "Hotel California" CD, the Eagles "**** Freezes Over" CD, "The Best of Roy Orbison" or "Milestones" by Miles Davis.
What happened? Anybody know?We've gotten the same error at the same time. I guess we need to let this play out. In the meantime, I'm gonna update iTunes.

Are you using a Microsoft or Apache web server? If so, you can submit to a server-side script, which will bypass web mail and client-side email software such as OUTLOOK.

vamsi,as far as I can tell, it is not actually the program that does not exist, but the report group.
when changes have been made to the layout, it is sometimes necessary to regenerate them. this can be done through GR52.
I'm curious to know what the SU53 will display for the user who's executing the transaction, because I don't find a reason to assume this is related to authorizations?

it may have something to do with logging on in a different language than the report was setup to be displayed in?

Exchange 2013 CAS server returned '500 Message rejected'
Hi, all.
Exchange 2013 with CAS server and 2 mailbox servers. Health checks are all 100% healthy.
One of our users cannot receive email from an external user. Our CAS server keeps rejecting the message. I can trace the message and see that it did indeed hit our servers, and was rejected. But I cannot find out WHY it was rejected.
Here is the Delivery Report from the EAC:

followed by the Original message headers. I think I'm looking for some more verbose logging to see what rule or configuration rejected the message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

DanMy main question: how can I see what triggered my CAS server to reject this message with error 500?
Our user can receive email from other external senders ok. It seems to be just this one sender having trouble.
Our transport rules are not complex, and I see no rules that would block this sender or domain.
We use Exchange Online Protection. The message gets through EOP and hits our CAS server. The CAS server rejects the message - it never gets to the Client.
The CAS server gives the error 500 - but that's all I can find. I need a command or somewhere to look to see what triggered the 500 error.
I've posted the NDR received by the sender and scrubbed our identifying information.
Rcn.com looks like the sender's online forwarding host - the spf record for senderdomain.net points back to rcn.com. I've run an spf record check and it passes, so I do not believe that is the issue.

I've recently started getting returned mail messages for emails I did not send. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?
