Sharepoint App Store Issue - Sorry, we can't seem to connect to the SharePoint Store. Try again in a bit.
I have just setup a SharePoint 2013 server and attempted to enable the App store by using the following guide:
http://www.naumanahmed.com/2012/07/sharepoint-2013-app-management-service.html#!/2012/07/sharepoint-2013-app-management-service.html
Everything seemed to go ok until i attempted to download an app.
When SharePoint attempts to get to the app store i get an error saying 'Sorry, we can't seem to connect to the SharePoint Store. Try
again in a bit.'. If i look at the logs the only error i can see relating to the App Marketplace is this:
An exception was thrown while running task 'GetOfficeMarkets'. Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: Sorry, we can't seem to connect to the SharePoint Store. Try again in a bit.
at Microsoft.SharePoint.Marketplace.OfficeProxy.OfficeProxy.GetMarkets(String userDefaultBillingMarket, String userDefaultContentMarket, String userIP, List`1& markets, Boolean& validDefault)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.StorefrontBase.GetOfficeMarkets(HttpRequest request, List`1& markets, Boolean& validDefaults)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.StorefrontBase.TaskGetOfficeMarkets()
at Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.StorefrontBase.TryRunTask(TryGetOutput taskMethod)
The server was using a proxy to connect to the internet, but since getting this error i have allowed it to directly access the internet on port 80 and 443.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
Are we able to access sharepoint store from PC

Use fiddler and netmon for blocked ports
Make sure your app domain works fine.
Make sure App Management Service and Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Subscription Settings Service is started on your server.
Make sure App Management Service Application and Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Subscription Settings Service Application is started.
Check the detail error message of ULS log to determine the exact cause of the error.

Dive into Central Admin->Manage Web Applications,
select the web-application and up in the Ribbon, select Manage Features
now ACTIVATE for internet access to the Store!
"Apps that require accessible internet facing endpoints"
"Allow users to acquire apps that require internet facing"
"endpoints from the SharePoint Store."
IISRESET and voila! everything works fine.

I reviewed a lot of posts but none of them fixed my issue
my network admin gave the SP server full internet access
when I try to open http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/store/config15 from the ULS I get
Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found.
You may have clicked an old link or the page may have moved.
when I try to open http://officeclient.microsoft.com/ from the TechNet guide
I get error 404 page not found
but I can open this https://office.microsoft.com/config15
I tried setting (Set-SPAppStoreConfiguration) to all the above links then IIS reset each time .. still same problem
I tried deactivating-activating (Apps that require accessible internet facing endpoints) from CA and then IIS reset .. same problem
it is not my first time configuring app store
I configured it 2 months ago on a different server and its running fine, I didn't face any problems
ideas ?Hi,
Thank you for your sharing! It will be beneficial to others in this forum who meet the same issue in the future.

I am running Windows Home Server 2011 and have installed iTunes on my dedicated server, attached to my router. I can't connect to the iTunes Store nor run Genius on the server ONLY (iTunes runs fine on by two other PCs and my Apple TV and I share the libary that resides on the server). I am running a very current version of iTunes 64 bit. I have run the connectivity test and it failed.
My guess is that there is some setting in the Server software that i need to change to let iTunes access urls or computers on the internet. Does anyone have any experience with this software combination?
Thank youSome guy managed to get this to work. The following link is for iTunes 10.5 but it should work for the current release.

Hi all,
So we have had SharePoint store working within our SharePoint site for some months now but within the past 3/4 weeks we have been receiving the following message "Sorry, we cant seem to connect to the SharePoint Store. Try again in a bit" We have
tried all the Certificate fixes and checked that the configuration has not changed since it has been working.
Getting rather desperate now so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!Harry,
Are you able to browse office.microsoft.com from your server?
If not please try IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

"Unable to connect to the internet, please try again" wifi issue
I recently recieved my blackberry storm in the mail excited to use the wifi. I set it up including entering the correct security code a number of time for the "wep" security options and it recognizes the network. I believe it's connecting also, but when I open my browser the message of "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again." pops up. I have a verizon account with a data plan, but due to not wanting to use up my data plan I switched it off as only to rely on my wifi. What can I do? I've updated everything and tried so many things. Our wifi has never done this to any other device. PLEASE HELP!
in the browser, go to the options and setthe default browser as "Hotspot browser" instead of "Internet Browser".

I have installed OS6 on my iPhone 4. A new App is Passbook. When I click on the App Store bar at the bottom of the Passbook page a message pops up saying Cannot connect to iTunes Store. That's wrong isn't it? It should not be trying to connect to the iTunes Store but to the App Store?.
It should be telling you to download the latest iTunes on your computer... you can't install iTunes on your iPhone.
