Shortcut, um zum oberen Menü zu springen? PS CS6

Hallo,
gibt es in Photoshop einen Shortcut, der einen direkt zum oberen Menü springen lässt? So könnte ich bei der Bedienung komplett Maus bzw. Zeichenstift weglassen, da die weitere Handhabung ja mit den Pfeiltaste/ der Enter-Taste funktioniert.

Wieso sollte das bei Ihnen nicht gehen? Ich hab's extra probiert, bevor ich das schrieb. Egal, ob ein Tool ausgewählt ist oder nicht, wenn man die ALT-Taste kurz antippt, wird "Datei" im Menü markiert, quasi so also würde man mit der Maus drübergehen. Dann kann man im Menü mit den Cursortasten navigieren. Das Ganze geht in anderen Adobe-Anwendungen auch.
Das wäre die allgemeine Bedienung. Direkt zum Bearbeiten-Menü zu springen wäre dann ALT+B. (wenn man die ALT-Taste gedrückt hält, wird das B in Bearbeiten unterstrichen). Dieses System ist sogar windows-weit typisch.
Generell kann es natürlich auch mit Einstellungen in Windows (Erleichterte Bedienung) zu tun haben.Tastaturnavigation ist aber nach der Installation von Windows normalerweise aktiviert und dann müßten Sie es schon extra deaktiviert haben. Oder haben Sie einen Mac? Dann wäre es halt eine andere Taste.

Shortcuts for Batch and Image Processor in Bridge CS6

I use Batch and Image Processor all the time, and I'd like to use a shortcut.
Can you tell me if there is a shortcut or how I can program one?
I set up shortcuts for those two commands in Photoshop, but they don't work in Bridge.
I remember from the time I started with Photoshop and had Deke McClelland's book with his set of shortcuts. There was a shortcut that worked with image processor, but it was just a set you did install and no explanation. When I moved to a different computer and a newer version of Photoshop, these keys got lost.
Is there any way to automate Batch and Image Processor?

There is no way to economically batch process in Bridge without having to go thorough sub-menus.
I'm sorry you can't get it to work, but on my system it works flawless.
Testing a bit more it seems you don't need to use a unique shortcut at all. I also tried to use the shortcut for Batch I created in PS itself to get the Batch window to front for running actions on open files. For me that is [control + Cmd + B] but feel free to find an other one.
When I discovered you don't need the unique shortcut at all I used the same shortcut for Bridge CC. . Also created [Control + Cmd + i] for the Image processor.
Both started without problems.
To extend I also created both same shortcuts for Bridge CS6. This also was working correctly, off course, having only PS CC open using the shortcut in Bridge CS6 it auto started PS CS6.
So can you specify a bit more about what OS you are using on what computer (I have OSX 10.8.4 on a MacPro 2012)

Can I create a keyboard shortcut to change the reference point? (Mac CS6)

I'm forever changing the reference point during a job and the tiny squares are a nightmare (my eyes aren't what they used to be), a shortcut to change it from the centre to top left would be great.

What's the keyboard shortcut for "Extrusion from Text Layer"? (Mac CS6)

I keep triggering this by accident and can't figure out what combo I'm hitting, or how to disable it. I've looked in the Keyboard Shortcuts but can't find it.
I'm on a laptop keyboard, so I use the fn key a lot to access enter when I'm finished editing text. Every once in a while (but often enough to be annoying), I attempt to enter out of text editing and suddenly everything stops, the gray rotating "processing" cursor appears, and for a few seconds I'm in a mild panic about how long it's been since I saved. Then a dialog box comes up asking if I want to switch to the 3D workspace or something. Clicking "no" doesn't stop the unwanted 3D thing from happening, and the last History item then says "Extrusion from Text Layer." I then Undo and go on with what I was doing.
I've always got my left hand positioned over the lower left corner of the keyboard, and move quickly when using shortcuts and switching tools. I have no idea what combination I keep hitting by accident - something with fn, ctrl, opt, cmd, shift, I don't know, plus possibly return or enter. What is it, and how do I disable it?

Trial-and-error prevails: It's fn + shift + return. (Or shift + enter on a full keyboard, I suppose? Unless that still does a soft line break like shift + return.)
But only when I'm actively editing the text layer - not with the text layer selected and Move tool active, or even with the text layer selected and Type tool active, but only when in the process of using the Type tool to edit the text layer. I still have no idea to disable it, though.

Windows Alt shortcut for Rectangular Marque is not working on CS6

I'm using windows CS6 and was trying to shrink the selection around an object with a solid background. I selected the object using the rectangular marque and then held down the alt key and clicked inside the selection on the solid background. Nothing happened. This used to work on my older CS2 version. What's up? Did they change the shortcut?

Maybe your were doing something like ths:
1. Make the selection with the rectangular marquee tool as you described
2. Switch to the Magic Wand Tool
3. Hold down the Alt (Option) key and click on the background color within the selection
The Magic Wand Tolerance value can affect the selection

PS CS6 keyboard shortcuts aren't!

The shortcuts work to an extent. That is, for instance if I hit M for marquee I get the marquee. BUT if I hit M again it won't change to the next one. And it's the same for all shortcuts. I have to mouse to the icon to change it. What gives? Is there a setting I'm missing?

Holding the Cmd+Opt+P+R keys (⌘+⌥+P+R), press the power button.
Listen for the "Startup chime" to sound three times.

Add cite to keyboard shortcuts

Hi, I can't for the life of me find out where to add the <cite>text</cite> to the keyboard shortcuts.
I'm using DW CS4.

In CS6, when I right-click the new snippet and select Edit Keyboard Shortcuts, I just get a javascript error, the same error I get if I try to do create a keyboard shortcut directly from the menu at the top of the screen, Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts. The error is "At line 321 of <path>\Keyboard Shortcuts.js getMenuTree: Argument number 1 is invalid." After that, where the list of standard shortcuts should appear, the list is blank. All the other built-in shortcuts also are blank, and trying to create a new set just creates a blank set that doesn't let you add anything. Deleting Dreamweaver's cache file, the blahblah.dat thing, doesn't fix it.

I have modified the code so that I do not paint the TableHeader. Instead of this I paint grey BufferedImages and the text of the TableHeader on this Images. The reason is that if I paint the TableHeader, only the last row of the Header will be printed but not the table. If I paint the images instead it works.
But my next problem is that I can only print the first page. From the next pages only the last column of the last row will be printed.
Has anyone a good idea to solve this problem? Please help, I am working at this for a couple of days now and I am going mad :-(.

I solved this problem. It was not a code-problem but a printer problem. This code do not work on a BrotherHL1660e-printer. On all other printer I tried it works fine.

Automatisieren InDesign-Dokumente zusammenführen und zu PDFs konvertieren

Hallo liebe Adobe-Community,
ich muss mehr als einmal monatlich einen Flyer erstellen (InDesign), anschließend mit diversen Eindrücken versehen (bestehend aus einem zweiseitigen InDesign-Dokument, eine für den Titel eine für die Rückseite) und mit einem hybridisierten Namen als PDF exportieren. Dieser Arbeitsschritt der Personalisierung kostet mich jedes Mal einen halben bis ganzen Arbeitstag, daher meine Frage: kann man soetwas automatisieren? Wenn ja womit?
Zum Verständnis habe ich auch eine kleine Grafik angelegt.

Angenommen die InDesign-Dateien heißen: 1.indd, 2.indd ... usw.
1. Starten Sie Extend Script Toolkit.
2. Wählen Sie aus dem ersten Drowdown-Menü InDesign CC oder CS6, je nachdem welche Version Sie benutzen.
3. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol der gesprengten Kette.
4. Sie sollten aufgefordert werden, InDesign zu starten. Klicken Sie Ja.
5. Während InDesign startet können Sie den oben angegebenen Code in Extend Script Toolkit kopieren. Bearbeiten Sie die Variable "dir" so dass sie in das Verzeichnis zeigt, in dem Ihre indd-Dateien liegen.
Zum Beispiel:
wenn sich Ihre Dateien auf dem Desktop befinden dann lautet der Pfad:
var dir = /Benutzer/[Ihr Benutzername]/Desktop
6. Wenn InDesign bereit ist können Sie auf das Symbol klicken, um das Skript auszuführen.
Nachdem das Skript ausgeführt wurde, bekommen Sie PDFs mit den Namen 1.pdf, 2.pdf ... usw für alle InDesign-Dateien, die sich auf Ihrem Desktop befinden.

Encore - Exportdatei

Hallo!
Ich mache gerade mein erstes Projekt in Encore.
Nun meine Fragen:
1. Wenn ich auf prüfen gehe, sagt er mir, dass die Endaktion nicht festgeleget ist. - Wenn ich dann sage "zurück zum letzten Menü" - bekomme ich nach Prüfung folgendes: Endaktion kann wegen Endaktion auf letzter Kapitelmarke nicht ausgeführt werden!
was muss ich tun?
2. Abgesehen von Pkt. 1, wenn ich diesen ignoriere und trotzdem auf erstellen gehe, kommt nach kurzer Zeit die Meldung, dass die Exportdatei fehlt.
Welche Exportdatei? Ich habe in diversen Foren gesucht, aber nur die anleitung mit der Premiere pro cs6 version gefunden - bei der man folgende Anleitung erhält:
Wählen Sie „Datei“ > „Adobe Dynamic Link“ > „An Encore senden“.
dies geht aber in premiere pro cc anscheinend nicht.

Adobe Encore: Eine Hintergrundmusik für die GANZE DVD?!

Hey Leute,
hab mal ne Frage, kann man bei Encore einen "Haupttrack" auswählen, der dann das ganze Menü über läuft, selbst in den Submenüs?
Wichtig ist, dass zwischen dem "Sprung" vom Main Menü zum Sub Menü und wieder zurück, keine Unterbrechung der Hintergrundmusik stattfinden kann.
Hintergrund: Weil ich einige "Mouseover"/"Highlights" gesetzt habe und wenn ich nun navigiere, fängt die Melodie immer von vorne an.
Ich habe echt alles schon versucht, leider ohne Erfolg...vllt ist es ja auch einfach mit Encore umsetzbar, aber bevor ich aufgeben, wollte ich es nochmal hier versuchen.

So, ich habe jetzt die Untertitel in einer Spur drinnen. Wie befürchtet und angekündigt, gibt es jetzt Probleme beim export.
Frage ist jetzt also, wie kann ich das Projekt als Video Speichern und die Untertitel nutzen ohne sie "Valide" zu machen, was bedeuten würde das die Untertitel nicht mehr Synchron sind, da man ja mid X MS platz zwischen den einzelnen Untertiteln lassen muss :S
Einzige mir einfallende Möglichkeit:
Per Desktop Screening die Vorschau mitschneiden und ein Video draus machen. Kann ja aber bei so teuren Programmen auch nicht der Sinn sein, oder ?

Wie stellt sich Adobe das neue Creative Cloud Modell vor?

Wenn ich mir zum Beispiel als Privatanwender einen Photoshop CS6 kaufe, dann kostet mich das einmalig knapp 900 Euro. Wenn ich aber beim neuen Modell einsteige zahle ich monatlich knapp 25 Euro. Das heißt nach ziemlich genau 3 Jahren zahle ich drauf oder ich habe keine Software mehr. (falls ich nicht verlängere) Nicht jeder User (und vor allem Privatpersonen oder kleine Unternehmen) braucht jedes Update.
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen daß das neue Modell erfolgreich sein wird. Schon gar nicht zu den meiner Meinung nach gerade für Privatpersonen doch erschreckend hohen Preisen.
Die Konkurenz wird sich freuen.

Bisher habe ich Adobe in höchsten Tönen gelobt: Eine innovative Arbeitsumgebung, in der alle Programme wunderbar zusammenarbeiten. Als freier Filmschaffender kann ich mir keinen besseren Workflow vorstellen. Vom Schnitt, über die Titelanimation, bis hin zur Postergestaltung und vielem mehr. Alles in einer Programmfamilie vereint! Wow! Dafür habe ich auch gerne etwas tiefer in die Tasche gegriffen und mir jeweils die aktuelle Version gekauft, sobald die vorherige veraltet war. Ich konnte gut mit älteren Versionen arbeiten, so lange ich mit diesen meine Vorstellungen umsetzen konnte.
Aber was passiert jetzt?!
Liebes Adobe, ich möchte Sie hiermit darauf aufmerksam machen, dass ich mich wohl oder übel von einer meiner Lieblingsmarken abwenden MUSS, weil es mir wahnsinnig ungeheuer ist, für ein Programm Geld zu bezahlen, um dann, sobald ich nicht mehr bezahlen kann/möchte, mit leeren Händen dazustehen. Wenn ich mehrere hundert oder gar tausend Euro in Ihre Produkte investiere, möchte ich auch sicher sein können, dass ich die Programme benutzen kann, auch wenn sie vielleicht veraltet sind. Ich sehe es nicht ein, permanent Geld auszugeben und (das ist der Punkt) sobald ich nicht mehr bezahle auch nicht mehr mit den Programmen arbeiten kann, OBWOHL ich bereits mehrere tausend Euro investiert habe.
Alle Dinge dieser Welt, die ich kaufen kann, gehören mir dann auch. Warum macht Adobe dort eine Ausnahme? Häuser kann man mieten, aber auch kaufen. Autos kann man leasen, aber auch kaufen. Kameras kann man mieten, aber auch kaufen. Warum kann man die (wunderbaren) Adobe-Produkte nun mehr lediglich mieten? Es scheint mir, dass Ihre Firma den Bezug zum Kunden verloren hat und heimlich nach dem steigenden Kontostand schielt. Eine wahrlich bedauernswerte Entwicklung!
Photoshop ist DAS Bildbearbeitungsprogramm schlechthin, warum riskieren Sie Ihre Monopolstellung?
Dieser Schritt möchte sich mir nicht erschließen und deshalb bitte ich Sie insbrünstig die Programmfamilie (nicht nur CS6, sondern alle folgenden Updates) weiterhin als Paket anzubieten. Ich möchte meine Programme benutzen können, wenn ich schon so viel Geld investiere.

Allgemein zur Cloud...

Wir haben bei uns einige Boxed Versionen auf die Cloud umgestellt. Unsere Volume Versionen haben wir behalten, CS6 eben.
Für uns birgt die Cloud im Moment einen großen Nachtteil. Ich hatte es jetzt schon zweimal bei Kunden das die Anmeldung hochkommt und man eigentlich nichts mehr machen kann.
Da habe ich dann kein Internet.
Ich bin beim Kunden vor Ort mit einem MacBook Pro und will dem Kunden Entwürfe zeigen und eben schnell was ändern um auch das vorzustellen.
Ich habe auch noch nicht rausgefunden wann und warum die Anmeldung hochkommt, die Version wird nur auf diesem MacBook verwendet.
Kann das abgeschaltet werden?
Sonst werden wir wohl weiter mit CS6 arbeiten und die Abos schließen. Vielleicht ringt sich Adobe ja mal durch auch eine offline Version zu liefern.

Das hatte ich bereits probiert. Mir gehört eine IT Firma, daher kenne ich technische Zusammenhänge die dort sein könnten.
Da ich auch Programmierer bin vermute ich einen grundsätzlichen Lizenzcheck beim Start der Programme.
Anders als bei CS5/CS6 sind diese aber nicht mehr auf Mac oder Windows PC im Cache sondern werden immer gefordert.
Die Cloud hatte ich bereits abgeschaltet. Photoshop 2014 oder auch Dreamwaever 2014 lässt sich dennoch nicht starten.
Übrigens stimmt das nicht ganz mit der IP, sporadisch erscheint der Login auch im Büro und wir haben nur feste IPs.
Das an einer stationären Windows Workstation mit einem anderen Adobe Account.
Daher sind die neuen Programme für mich nicht zu gebrauchen, ich muss die Möglichkeit haben beim Kunden offline was zu ändern, zu schauen oder anzupassen.
Zum Glück habe ich noch CS6 aus dem Volume Vertrag was bereits wieder auf MacBook zuhause ist.
Das Abo werde ich kündigen. Man sieht allerdings genug Beschwerden über dieses Konzept, vielleicht ändert Adobe dort noch mal was und bietet wieder Kaufversionen an.
