Show only 1 product in dynamic list

Hi all and thank you very much for your help.
My question concerns this page:
http://www.energywa.co.za/accessories/avr/search.php
The list is a dynamic dropdown which gets it's data from a MySQL DB. You will notice that there are some products which are repeated. I want to have no product to be repeated. Every product must only show once, even though there can be 20 instances of the product.
Please advise what to change / do in order for this to work.

SELECT DISTINCT avr_REPLACE from avr
The word "distinct" needed to be there. Thank you for the time in answering me.

Show only Start Time in List View?

When I print my iCal calendar in List View, it prints out Start and End times for each event. This, despite the fact that I don't create End Times for these events. Just the Start Times. So everything shows up like this:
9AM (1/25) to 9AM (1/25) Breakfast meeting
11AM (1/25) to 11AM (1/25) Sales Meeting
12:30PM (1/25) to 12:30PM (1/25) Lunch
... etc.
Is there some way to get it not to print the End Time if it's the same as the Start Time? Or, failing that, just not print the End Time regardless if it's the same as the Start Time or not?

Show only part of a list in dependencies of a node

I have a XMLlistCollection who shall fill up my Applikation.
In some views I only want to show a part of all entries. Equivalent
to a mysql query where I can say: give me all where myNode contains
this string.
Is there a way to to so? I did a research since 3h, but I'm
sure for what to search.
Any hint would be appreciated.

Look into "filter" for collections.
For XML, use e4x expressions.

Is WPC dynamic list recursively showing content?

Hi guys,
I have this KM folder structure with WPC's articles:
FOLDER 1
|
|_ FOLDER A
|     |_ article a.1
|     |_ article a.2
|
|_ FOLDER B
|     |_ article b.1
|     |_ article b.2
|
|_ article 1.1
|_ article 1.2
articles 1.1 and 1.2 are direct children of Folder1 (ie: they are sibling for Folder A and Folder B). I hope it's clear :S
Here comes the trouble. I'm using a WPC Dynamic List pointing to Folder 1, but instead of showing only articles 1.1 and 1.2, the list is populated with ALL articles within Folder 1 and Folder A and Folder B.
I'm guessing it is reading the folder structure recursively. I need to display ONLY the two last articles (article 1.1 and 1.2).
Is this a bug or, by the opposite, is the expected behavior?

Guess i have to put everything I need in the article element so i do not need to show the page.
Another question occured to me while I was doing that:
When I navigate from a Dynamic List to an Element, it should be possible to navigate back and forth with the buttons I created using the history api.
Instead of the "<a href..." in the default dynamic list I created an onclick event. Right now im trying to navigate to the article with its guid and the method "EPCM.doNavigate(...)" but until know i haven't been able to get it done.
Is it even possible to reach that goal and in case it is am I on the right track or is there a better approach available?!

Paramform dynamic list can not show in browser

In report builder I build two user parameter by Parameter Form builder.
one is the search_mouth in which we type the month, the other is department_name
which is selected by dynamic list and we can not type the name only select a name from the list.
Everything is ok when I run it in report environment, but when I call it in browser the search_mouth field is ok, but the department_name change to a common textfield not a dynamic list,and all department_name is shown below the textfield.

I do not know how to show the dynamic list in browser.

I just tried and it works for me. The LOV value of the parameter is shown in browser as pulldown list.
I created a group above reports based on select * from emp where deptno = :p_deptno.
user parameter p_deptno is defined as sql select unique deptno from emp. In the parameter form builder, I selected desformat and p_deptno to show in the parameter form. When I run it through rwservlet, I get a text edit box for desformat, and pulldown list for deptno.

How to show only one element in drop list(common VO)

I'm using 11g adf jdev.
I have a common view object VO. In this VO one attribute is dropdown list , which i commonly used in some jsf pages .
Now in one particular jsf page i want show only one element in the dropdown list .
how can i handle with out distrib'g the common VO.

BTW, why you want to display only one item in the list.
If you are sure that the list will be having only one item, why don't you have it as inputText/outputText
How do you filter out the item to be displayed in the list? If that filtering is done on listdatasource bound to the list, the list will automatically show only one item(i.e, the filtered item)

Are the contact details in your contacts app, the phone app uses the contact app to put names against telephone numbers.

I've used Feedburner many times and never had such a problem. I am a bit confused, forgive me if I ask for questions already answerd. Have you tried updating the podcast in someone elses copy of iTunes? My guess is that the file is bad since it is working in other programs but not iTunes. I would try making a new .mp4 file and podcasting it and seeing if that works.

Web part created on a subsite for a sharepoint list in another site using sharepoint designer, to show only the subsite's reports. Connection dropping off and showing all the reports

I crated web parts in the sub-sites (we have about 10 subsites) using sharepoint designer from a main list in another site. Then used web part to show only the ubsite's reports - using connection to the main list. Problem is, the connection
is dropping off and showing all the reports on the main list that are confidential. this has happened 3 time lately. Could someone explain why it happens some times? I had to fix it by adding the web part again and connecting it

If you want to use a top level site "department" list column in all sub-sites, you can go to top level site and create a
lookup type "Site column" to look up the value from the department list, then all sub-sites can use this lookup type site column created in top level site.

SQL Subscription field shows * only with Dynamic Text Label in SQL query

We are using Hyperion Analyzer 7.2.x for showing budget and actual data. I have to show this financial data based on the security e.g. person in IT can see only IT dept. data. Hence I want to use dynamic text label <<userid>> for the security based on the person logging in to Analyzer.
But when I use dynamic text label <<userid>> in the SQL query in SQL Spreadsheet, SQL Subscription field shows * only selection option. Does anyone have idea how to solve this problem?

Okay i know this is a bit crazy way.....but i think this is the solution for your issue.
Create a report without the where clause (<<useris>>) then add a filter (sql subscription) then you can find all the values that are there in the SQL field (try to increase the query limit it is set to 250 as default) then edit the spreadsheet and add the where clause (<<userid>>).
This will help you having the filter and the dynamic text label. I think there is an issue when you try to filter it with a where clause.

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??
Basically , i can clear the history in Firefox , and then for a example , go to Craigslist , using IE7 (launching it from a complete different Icon , in other words at that time i never open Firefox) , then after closing out , or even leaving open as it does not seem to matter , i go into Firefox , and hit History , and there is every place i visited in IE7 , on my History in Firefox

Showing filter in dynamic list by default

I have a form using the ADDT dynamic list behaviour. What I'd like to do is show the filter items automatically when that form opens rather than have the user click on the Filter button.
Does anyone know how to do that?

Missing parts list shows only the first material.

in case of MTO cycle, when i create a plnd order to prod order,in material availability check, system is not displaying all the materials for which shortages are there, instead its showing only the first material.

You need to ensure that these materials are actually missing. You check this in transaction CO09 (SAP Note 89362). The checking rule will be whatever you assigned to the production order type in OPJK.
Also, you need to ensure that the "missing" materials are actually checked for availability - The checking group is assigned in the MRP3 tab of the material master. In OVZ2, look at the entry for this checking group and ensure that "No Check" is not ticked.

Import dialog shows iPhone twice, and photo list only shows outlines

In Aperture 2.1.2 I have been able to import photos from my iPhone until just recently. Now the import dialog shows three choices of import devices/locations, Local Disk, RJH iPhone and a second RJH iPhone. If I select either iPhone the main window displays outlines of 7 images but no picture information except for the filename. If I actually try to import the pics it says 'Import completed with errors, the following files were not imported' and it lists all the filenames. One of the iPhone devices shows up in the import list EVEN WHEN THE iPHONE IS NOT CONNECTED!
I'm sure there is a plist or something that has the list of import devices bu I have not been able to find it despite extended web and support searches.
Anyone heard of this?

OK, I have since discovered that the second iPhone device is listed only when my iPhone is plugged into a DIFFERENT USB port on my MBP. If I plug it into the same port I usually use, it is only listed one. However, both Aperture and iPhoto still see one iPhone device whether it is plugged in or not, and both show images with outlines only and won't import photos. So strange
