Show Totals Row for Characteristic Structure

Hi,
Is there a way to show the Totals Row in(or after) a Charactersitic Structure. Using formula adding the individual elements in structure we can achieve this, but when we drill-down with other characteristics the drill-down values would repeat for "Total" as well.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Gokul

Hi,
Do you want the number of rows displayed in report for a particular selection?
If this is the requirement, you can see that at the bottom of the output (Web Report), the number of records displayed.

Yogesh.

  • Web Item Selection for Characteristic Structures

    Hello experts,
I have created a web template with a query that has some characteristic structures. When planning functions are executed, I want to restrict the affect against the structures using web item selection (data binding). Is it possible to set data binding for strucures?
    Thank you.

    Hello Gernot!
Did you find a solution for using row selection in combination with a structure in the query?
I face a similar situation and one solution I found so far is to use an dropdown-box to make the selection although I would prefer using the row selection-feature as it is more convenient and obvious to the user.

  • BI Report is showing two rows for a single record

    Dear Experts
    This is Raja
I am Facing one issue in BI Report,
I have created report based on a Infocube which is getting data from two DSO. one is Standard [ Billing Condition Data]and another one is ZDSO[Targets}. these two requests go in the Infocube
    1. Budget- zdbudget [DSO]
    2.Actuals -0sd_o06 [DSO]
I need to make report  Like this :For a specific period
    EX:1
Material    Sold to party    Actual   Budget/Target     Variance    Actual YTD  Budget YTD
    M100        S100                 21         30                         10               21                  30
here budget{ Budget DSO} values i am getting Material wise sold to party is not coming through file. But for Actual values sold to party is coming, that's why my report is showing like this..
    Ex:2
Material    Sold to party    Actual   Budget/Target     Variance    Actual YTD  Budget YTD
    M100        S100                 21                                      10               21
                                      30                       -30                                        30
Since the sold to party is not available in Budget DSO in the report For Every Material it's showing Two Rows.
How can bring this in to one Line..Like EX:1
    Please give Valuable Suggestions..

Say the data is like this.
Material Sold to Party Act Bud
    M1          S1               100   0
    M1          #                    0    50
    M1          S2               200   0
And you want to see like below.
Material Sold to Party Act Bud
    M1          S1               100   50
    M1          S2               200   50
If this is your requirement, let the sold to party be in Rows.
In columns, for budget, create a local selection, drag budget kf, sold to party (restrict this by # and right click and choose constant selection). This makes the budget kf independent of what is coming in the rows and always shows data corresponding to sold to party #. Hope this is clear.

  • Creating Master to show only rows for which valid entries exist in Detai

I have created a Master-Detail Form in my Apex application based off of views to tables in a private remote Database.
In the Master-Detail Creation Wizard, at the "Link Master and Detail" page, I specified that the defined Primary Key in the Master Column should be equal to the corresponding Foreign Key in the Detail Column.
My goal is to have my Master Form only display rows for which a valid corresponding entry exists in the Detail Form. Yet, the above setup returns all of the rows from the Master Table, even where the corresponding Detail entry is blank.
Can you provide some light on what I'm doing wrong, and how I can accomplish what I want to do?

  • The 'Load Details' screen doesn't show the rows for 'Loaded'

    Hi All,
May I request for inputs on the following issue please. Request iSetup Development to confirm if this is the intended feature.
Customer complains that when they view the details of a Load, the 'Loaded' column doesn't show any numbers (rows).
Customer expects to see the numbers for this column. Why this is left blank?
I can see that even the documentation shows the blank column.

    Hi there
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you wish to enable the reveal password icon for your system. I am happy to help. It really depends on which version of the Operating system you are running, because this sort of thing is normally controlled using the Group Policy Editor. That tool is not a part of a Home edition, you would need the Pro version or higher to have that. Assuming that you do have a pro edition or higher, then these may be of help to you:5 Ways to Access Local Group Policy Editor on Windows 10 - isunshare.comDisable or Enable the new Password Reveal Button feature in Windows 8 - windowsclub.com Unfortunately the version of Windows 10 I have installed beside me is the home edition as well, so I cannot access this, to verify, so let me know if that works for you.

  • Totals Row for table

    Hi all.
I'm using JDev 10.2 and JSP's. One of my JSP's has a table of finanacial information which I would like to total per column. I tried to add some calculated attributes to the View Object but that has not worked out. My View Object's query was set in "expert mode". I cannot use javascript because the Iteratator has a rangeSize of 10 and I wish to tally all the rows in the resultSet. Can anyone help?
    thanks.

I have already tried something similar to that. For example if the table has 3 records with salaries of 100, 200 and 300. If I run the query; select sum(salary) as sum_salary. Doesn't this mean that my sum_salary will always be 600 even if I add a where clause to my query e.g. where salary > 100, in which case I would want my sum_salary to be 500

  • Quantity fields not getting displayed in the second total row

    Hi,
As per the requirement I have to display 2 total rows for an ALV report using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. I am able to get the first total row properly using method get_subtotal(). However for the next total row only the character fields are getting displayed and the quantity fields are coming blank.
The second total row will have different values based on a formula.
Please help me out in resolving the issue.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

You can provide first row as the SUBTOTAL and next row as the TOTAL.
Get one extra column on which you can do the SUBTOTAL.

  • Add a row after Total row in ALV report

    Hi Experts,
I have a report is displayed by  ALV format(not use function module to display it but use Class cl_gui_custom_container),I want to add a row after the total row. for example,
    Customer   amount1    amount2    amount3
    10000         1,234        1,000         2,000
    10001         4,000        2,000         1,000
    10002         1,300        1,000         3,000
    11000         1,200        4,000         3,000
         Total:     7,734        8,000         9,000
    Ratio%        31.27       32.34          36.39
the row of 'Total' is calculated by fieldcat-do_sum = 'X' But after the Total row we need a Ratio row to display the ratio. Yes we can calculate the total amout and ratio and then append it into the output itab, but we don't like this solution. We want to keep the total function in the ALV report.Any experts can poit me a direction. Thanks in advance.

    Djoe,
First you need to handle the user command,in order to capture the button action. For this you need to implment a class, i  am attaching sample codes here
In top include write the following code
    CLASS lcl_event_handler DEFINITION .
      PUBLIC SECTION .
        METHODS:
handle_toolbar  FOR EVENT toolbar                   " To add new functional buttons to the ALV toolbar
                         OF        cl_gui_alv_grid
                         IMPORTING e_object,
handle_user_command FOR EVENT user_command          " To implement user commands
                            OF cl_gui_alv_grid
                            IMPORTING e_ucomm .
      PRIVATE SECTION.
    ENDCLASS.                                               " Lcl_event_handler DEFINITION
    Now   <b>Class implementation</b>
    CLASS lcl_event_handler IMPLEMENTATION .
      METHOD handle_toolbar.                                " Handle Toolbar

  • How to Show Total Calculation in Footer of Table

Hi everyone, is it possible to show total calculation in footer of table in webdynpro ? For the calculation, I think i can handle it because many thread in forum and weblog discuss it but for show it in footer of table , i can't find.
    Display
    A
    B
    C
    D
    | ____Total | XX |  --> XX shows total calculation for column D
If this is not possible, how to trick it ? Thank you
    null

    Hi,
Even i had the same requirement once, but as this is not possible i.e displaying the total as the footeer of the table.
the other option for this is to hav a seperate table below the main table & then displaying the total in that table.
You can collect the value of each cell of column D in an integer variable at the time of displaying the data in the table.
    A | B | C | D |
    1
    2
    3
    for(int i = 0;i<node.lenght();i++)
    int tot = wdcontext.element
now at the end you can create the element of the node & assign this variable "tot" to that element, then add teh element to the node
    Hope it helps you.
    Regards

    Hi
    In BI BEx Designer,
under Rows-> click any Characteristic-> Display Tab-> Result Rows: "Always Display" Option controls Last Row named "Result" (yellow colored) after the actual data reports ends.
But i am not finding this thing for the structure.
Actually my this report is based on 'Structure-> 2 selections' under Rows; once i run this query i get data without yellow colored 'Result" row at the end of report. I wanted to maintain the symmetry with other reports.
Could u pls let me know how to get Query last "Result" record if i use only structure under the rows.
    Thanks...

I limit the selection to display in one page, i see the overrall result but i've a result to show up after a Characteristic (result row option 'Display with more than one single value'), it works fine in BEx but not in web.
for the other query, yes i do KF in the report.
