    How to show warning message in am but not Stop , it still can go ahead.
    Thank you very much.

    jamras ,
    If i got you correct you wanna show user a list fo warnings after that have occured in some method in AM, and show them to user collectively, and the processing of the page should not stop in the above. What you need to do for it, is instead of throwing warning message in AM, collect all warnings in a arraylist or vector. when you navigate back to CO, iterate through this arraylist/vector and for each use pagecontext.putDialogmessage(oaexception).In this way you will be able to show all warning messages on page and your processing will not stop!

  • Show warning message in ApplicationModuleImpl

    Hi,
    I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
    I'm trying to show a warning message in ApplicationModuleImpl.
    using this code:
    JboWarning warning = new JboWarning("'some warning");
    getDBTransaction().addWarning(warning);
    It failed as exception in weblogic.
    What is the correct way to show the warning?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    you actually attempt adding a warning to a transaction. What you should do is to throw an instance of JboException (e.g. create your custom exception class that extends JboException). When you access the AM through the binding layer then this exception is handled and thus displayed by the ADF error handler

  • PC Suite doesn't show the messages in memory card

    Hei,
    Phone - 6210 Navigator
    PC Suite - 7.1
    Memory in use: Memory card
    When I open the  Communication Centre from PC Suite, it doesn't show the messages. In the left pane, number of messages in the folders is shown as zero. This happens if the memory is set to memory card.
    On the other hand, if I set the memory to Phone memory, the messages are shown properly. Why is this happening and what's the solution?
    When I tried to take a backup, all data, except messages, is backed up.
    Few days back, I could access all the messages via PC Suite. It worked fine. But, now, there's some problem.
    I've lots of messages in the memory card & I wanna move them to different folders. How else can I do it?
    -Babloo

    Hello,
    I think I found the cause of the problem. There's some problem with the memory card.
    I set the memory for Camera also to memory card and when I take a snap, something something happens. If I set the memory to phone memory, it works fine.
    But, I can access the files/folders in the memory card both from the mobile & via PC Suite.
    Now, my question is "How do I retrieve the messages from the memory card?"
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Show Warning Message near the field

    Hi all,
    I want to show my warning message near the field which is required instead of right at the bottom.
    I use the following onSubmit() Method when the user hits the submit button to check for required fields:-
    if (this.testfield == null) {
    this.setBackgroundColor(componentId : "testfield", color : "Red");
    this.focus(componentId : "testfield");
    this.setVisible(componentId : "testfield", visible : true, collapsed : false);
    this.showWarning(warning : "Testfield is Required");
    else {
    this.submit(text : "submit");
    This gives me the error message right at the bottom of the presentation as opposed below the field.
    How can I get this message to appear right below the field which is required?
    Any idea?
    I tried this.setText()
    But it does not work.

    The "showWarning" and "showError" methods used to be more useful when we had the option in earlier releases (5.7) to place them at either the top or the bottom of the presentation.
    I now never use either one of them.
    This is not what you want to hear and know you've thought of this, but what I do is add text attributes (errorMessage1, errorMessage2,...) to the BPM object and then place the text fields on the presentation as read-only, bold red foreground color text fields directly above the field causing the error. In my presentation's initialization method, I always use the setVisible method to false and collapse them. In your submit logic, you'd set the value of the error message attribute and set the error message field to be visible and not collapsed. You need to add an on change event for the field causing the error that will make the error field not visible and collapsed. Similarly, if you have a Save button, you need to make all the error fields not visible and collapsed.

  • My iPhone shows 1.0GB of memory used by Mail.  I've emptied all mailboxes and folders but still show 1.0 GB

    After upgrading to iOS7, I noted my iPhone 5 shows 1.0GB for Mail in the Usage list.  I've cleaned out all mailboxes and folders but still show the Mail app as using 1.0 GB.  Am I missing something?

    From another thread -
    Deleting mail from backup
    In any case, I'm posting this to help others.  I can't say with certainty what fixed this for me, but my hunch is that deleting (and then re-adding) the iCloud account on BOTH my iPhone and iPad had something to do with it.  Or maybe it was launching/syncing via Mail.app, and/or giving it some time.  Or maybe those prayers had something to do with it after all.
    The funniest part about all of this is that my whole iPhone backup (with small Camera Roll) takes up 3.6 GB and my whole iPad backup (with even smaller Camera Roll) takes up 1.4 GB... so I'm still right up against that 5 GB quota, and will still end up paying $20/year for the extra 10 GB of space anyway.  If only for elbow room, and if only for peace of mind.
    So there ya have it.

  • Automatic shutdown command does not show warning message

    I'm trying to automatically shutdown a computer remotely and I'm sending the following command:
    shutdown -h +2 "Shutting down in 2 minutes."
    I want users to be able to have a warning before the system shuts down.
    The machine is shutting down, but my message is not popping up.

    shutdown is a Unix shutdown command and it sends its shutdown message to terminal sessions.  Are you users using the terminal?
    Otherwise maybe you want to try getting help for an Applescript popup, or maybe using Growl which has a command line utility for generating growl messages on screen.

  • How to add warning message while using 'print' function in Adobe LiveCycle Designer

    I am trying to make pdf document for my company which requires adding a warning message while anyone use 'print' function from the page...
    Does anyone know how to add warning message on LiveCycle Designer
    Also my supervisor mentioned something using 'nag' if that rings any bell

    No you shoudl never go into the XML source unless uinstricted to do so.
    You can open the script editor (under the window menu). It will appear above the drawing area but below the toolbars. You can resize it if there is not enough room. When you click on an object in the form you can choose an event to script against in the Show dropdown. In your case you will want to choose the prePrint event. A line will show up that indicates the object that is associated with the script as well as the event and other information. Add your script below this line. Once that is done you are finished and your form is ready for testing.

  • How to handle warning message for the fields in tab merging , PERSONAS 2.0

    Hi all,
    Please advice me on the below issue.
    In a transaction VA32 , I have merged the fields from one tab to another tab using tab caching.
    when i try to change the value of  a merged fields , it throws the warnings message. So it is continuously looping from one tab to another tab.
    So i tried to use the additional editor concepts in tab caching as below.
    Looping is stopped and throws warning message in the same tab.
    All the changes are saved successfully only when the enter button is clicked once in the main screen, else the changes are not saved and my previous value remains.
    Anybody have an idea on how we can use Additional actions in Tab caching concepts.
    Thank you,
    Arun

    Hi Kranthi,
    When i try to save the fields which i merged from different tab is not saving.
    Please find the below details.
    Green highlighted fields are custom fields which is merged from different screen like header or item overview screen. This is handled in script button.
    Red highlighted fields are merged from different tab like shipping or sales using tab caching concept.
    While changing the value of the fields which is merged from different tab , and press ENTER then it throws the Warning message if occurs.
    After warning message, if i try to save using the script button for copying all the custom fields which is merged from different screen , pasted it to their respective screens and also saved.
    Its working fine.
    When i try to save it before pressing ENTER button then the respective changes had made in the merged fields from different tab are not reflected.
    How we can handle this issue?
    Thank you,
    Arun

  • Can we change the color of the Warning Messages?

    Hi, I had a requirement to change the Color of the warning messages to be in Red. Can somebody suggest on how to do this and also can we do this for one module specific?
    Thankyou

    following statement would show the message in Red Color.
    throw new OAException("Warning Message",OAException.ERROR);
    Use OAAttrValException if you want to highlight the particular field is wrong.

  • Idoc error caused by warning message

    Hi guys,
    I am using GLMAST idoc message for G/L account creation. Before the G/L account is saved, system shows warning message. Because of this warning message the inbound GLMAST idoc finishes with error (status 51).
    Is there any way how to solve the warning message by idoc processing?
    Normally when users creates G/L accounts manually they can confirm this warning message without any problem and the G/L account is sucessfully created.
    Thanks a lot for any idea.
    Petr

    Hi petr,
    You can do the debug the idoc using this T.code We19
    Provide the basic message which u created and provide the status number.
    U can solve the problem other wise predefined programs are there use that.

  • Warning message behave like error message why

    hiii
    I have done a simple test program where i have put
    MESSAGE W015(ZXXX) with "XXXXXX"
    and this when i execute will bahave like error message
    I even did like MESSAGE I0015(ZXXX) with "Xxxxx" display like I.  and this also behave like error message
    Note: my code is found between the start or selection and end of selection

    That is the normal behaviour for warning messages issued in START-OF-SELECTION (as already suggested, check the documentation).
    If you want your program to issue a message and continue running (for example the behaviour of the status message) yet show it like a Warning message, you can use the DISPLAY LIKE addition (only in newer releases):
    START-OF-SELECTION.
      MESSAGE s000(oo) WITH 'test' DISPLAY LIKE 'W'.
      WRITE sy-uzeit.
    Adding to Suhas comment:
    In fact SAP documentation roxx
    Sure...when it does exist!
