Shutdown Proxy via GUI

am I blind or is this a CLI-only "feature"?

Hi,
This is indeed a CLI only feature currently. We track this as Feature Request #39734. I'd recommend getting in touch with you Sales Representative or open a support case so that we can add a sighting for you (helps raising the priority).

  • Error while invoking the ABAP Proxy via SOAP Adapter

    Hi,
    My scenario involves SOAP Client invoking a webservice hosted in PI which in turn invokes the ABAP Proxy asyncronously.
    SOAP Client -> PI -> ECC (ABAP Proxy) . This works fine.
    Next , I have exposed the ECC Service Interface as webservice using SOA Manager transaction. Now, once the service is created using SOAManager, i replaced the XI Adapter with SOAP Adapter and provided the target URL as the URL provided by the SOAManager.
    SOAP Client -> PI -> ECC (ABAP Proxy via SOAP Adapter)
    With this approach, i am encountering the below error message
    2009-05-29 12:17:55 Error Adapter Framework caught exception: null
    2009-05-29 12:17:55 Error Delivering the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException.
    Any ideas on the above errror message? Any pointers or inputs will be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    This is a generic error message which does not have any information about the error which has occurred.
    Do you see any error messages in the SOAP client?

  • Accessing GSS via GUI mode.

    Hi All,
    I am new to Cisco GSS tehnology. Can anyone tell me how to get access the GSS control via GUI?Currently I have access thru telnet n ssh to the device.What command do I need to configure to get GUI access.
    Regards,
    Anil K.

    Hi Anil,
    If both GSS appliances are part of the same cluster, they will share the same GSLB config. Thus they will both respond to DNS "A" queries that are received on their configured interfaces. So both GSS devices are active at all times and will answer requests (providing the DNS rules and answers are up). The primary and secondary GSS are used for configuration changes/managing the cluster. So, providing that both your primary DC GSS and your DR DC GSS are part of the same cluster, both will have the same config and will respond. You would want to configure your answers in such a way that the DR IP addresses would be given out in the event the primary answer is down. Perhaps look at a ordered list.

  • Problem Activating proxy via SPROXY

    I am currently having as issue trying to activate the external requirements proxy via SPROXY.
    I regenerated the proxy and save the proxy.  When I attempt to activate the proxy I get the following error message:  "The used object, STRU PRXCTRL, is not visable."
    Upon looking at the error message it talks about how this development object (STRU PRXCTRL) is not contained in a interface but the Package Check as Server indicatior is checked for the appropriate main package.  I looked at package BBP_AI (interface) and this is not checked.
    I also looked at the package (SAI_GLOBAL) associated with structure PRXCTRL and it does not have the indicator checked.
    Has anyone run into this before or have any suggestions?
    Thanks,

    Hi Bill,
    no problem, I did the same mistake

  • Activate a session via Gui scripting

    Hi,
    how to activate an active SAP-session via Gui Scripting or maybe a workaround?
    There are some SAP sessions running and I want to activate a certain one of them.
    I tried to activate a session with:
    AppActivate session.findById("wnd[0]").Text
    but, as we know, if there are the same task names in Task Manager, the function will start any one of them.
    Any idea?

    Dear Casmir,
    I use the following code:
                suFound = False
                suError = False
                sgSystem = Trim(Cells(Target.Row, scSysCol))
                sgClient = Trim(Cells(Target.Row, scCliCol))
                sgUser = Trim(Cells(Target.Row, scUsrCol))
                sgPW = Trim(Cells(Target.Row, scPwdCol))
                suError = True
                suError = Not ssApplication
                If suError Then GoTo StopSub
                For Each suConnection In sgApplication.Connections
                    suSysName = suConnection.Description
                    If suSysName = sgSystem Then
                        For Each suSession In suConnection.sessions
                            suSysClient = suSession.info.client
                            If suSysClient = sgClient Then
                                AppActivate suSession.findById("wnd[0]").Text
                                'Aktive Instanz herausfinden, SID/Client checken
                                Set suAkt = sgApplication.ActiveSession()
                                suAktName = suAkt.Parent.Description
                                suAktClient = suAkt.info.client
                                If sgSystem <> suAktName Or sgClient <> suAktClient Then
                                    If Not suFound Then
                                        suFound = True
                                        AppActivate "Microsoft Excel"
                                        A = MsgBox(sgSystem & " - " & sgClient & "  NOT selectable", vbOKOnly + vbCritical + vbDefaultButton1, "SAP Automation")
                                    End If
                                Else
                                    suFound = True
                                End If
                                Exit For
                            End If
                            suSysClient = ""
                        Next
                    End If
                    If suFound Then Exit For
                    suSysName = ""
                Next
    As you can see, I got at that point all the necessary session and connection data.
    There are several SAP-Tasks open and what I want is to get a specific one as active window on my screen. That doesn't work if the sessions have the same Task-name, for instance "SAP Easy Access". Because Windos is not albe to find the right SAP-task - they have the same name - and it takes usally the wrong one of them. Thats my problem.
    Many Thanks for your Help

  • Proxy via Internet Sharing

    Hello, Apple Communities.
    I am having some problems with proxy setting.
    I contacted Apple about it, and they couldn't give me any solution,
    So I was wondering is there anyone who can figure it out.
    I am trying to use proxy, via internet sharing.
    Which means, I would like keep the proxy setting universal through out internet sharing.
    For instance, if I use internet on my iPhone through my mac(=internet sharing), I wish my iphone on proxy.
    But apparently the proxy setting,
    actually all sercutiy settings are not shared on internet sharing.
    Is there anyway to fix this?

    My only advice would be to buy a router like the airport extreme.

  • Deleting User via GUI

    I delete a user (via GUI) then manually delete user's store directory. I re-create user with same profiles (user-id and mail address) then I log-in to webmail for that user and get error message "System I/O error". And I can't find user's store directory (under /store/partition/primary=user) that assosiate with the user.
    Any body can fix this problem ?
    Regards,

    When you say "manually delete user's store" did you use "rm"? Use the mboxutil command with the "-d" option. That will delete the mailbox and maintain system integrity.
    mboxutil -d user/olduser/Inbox

  • Create new database in XE via GUI console

    I would liek to know if it possible to create a new database in Oracle 10g Express Edition via the GUI Web console other than the existing XE database? If not, is there another way via SQL?

    XE is limited to a single instance, and an instance can only open one database at a time.
    You should be able to close the 'current database' (shutdown and startup nomount) and create a new database 'create database' through SQL, but I wouldn't see a lot of point to the exercise (except as a learning exercise, where you'd be better off using a Standard/Enterprise Edition).
    There'd be no way to do the creation through an Apex application, as Apex itself has to run in a database so wouldn't survive the closure of the current database.

  • Can't see the logical system set up via Gui PI while build up business syst

    Hi all:
        I set up a logical ssytem via Sale via PI Gui----ECC800, but when build up
    business systems ECC800, I cann't see ECC800.  it seems that we need to
    synchronise it through Gateway, Could you please tell me how in detail?
       Thank you very much!!!

    Unfortunately, it seems that Toahiba has not improved their driver releases. As they repackage the nVidia drivers, a straight nVidia driver will seldom install properly. I had a Toshiba Satellite (biggest, baddest in its day), and it never got a video driver update. No nVidia drivers would install. I found this Web site, and for the five years that I used that laptop, it rewrapped every new nVidia driver, to install on the Toshiba: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers.
    Predicated on a similar Toshiba thread, I checked for that old Satellite, and Toshiba had not issued a new one, four years later - so their one driver was about 9 years old at that point.
    Good luck,

  • Purchase order replication – extended classic scenario using XML proxy via PI

    Hi Experts
    Question:
    In case of extended classic deployment is it possible to use XML proxy to
    transfer SRM purchase orders to ECC? As we know as of SRM 7.01 its via RFC
    whether SRM 7.02 onwards does SAP support XML for ECS too?
    Has
    anyone read about this in any of the SAP forums?
    Background: In our project, client have invested
    heavily on XI and XI monitoring and troubleshooting, integrated to SAP SOLMAN.
    And would like to opt for XML mode of transfer and reuse existing solution.
    This is the main reason we would like to be very clear in our understanding
    before we go back to client.
    We appreciate your time and support.
    Regards
    Prashanth

    Dear Rahul,
    Thanks for you input
    Let me give you an example of the behaviour:
    in PPOMA_BBP TOG assigned to user has : DQ with $1000 and upper percentage 5%.
    User orders a PO  with quantity=1000, price $100;
    No additional tolerances assigned in the PO itself
    User tries to enter confirmation with quantity 1001 (so qty variance converted to currency amount results in $100 over delivery) So the confirmation is under both the 5% and the $1000 limit.
    In that case I donu2019t receive an error message from the SRM, but the error message u201CBackend Purchase Order quantity exceeded by 1 EAu201D from ECC still prevents me from posting the Confirmation. And this is the problem I havenu2019t been able to solve so far.
    So I want the TOG tolerance to be used. And I am also happy with the absolute limit always having priority over percentage limit...
    But I am trying to find a way to get rid of the back end message (with assigning a tolerance to the PO itself as the will get rid of the absolute limit see my previous post.)
    Cheers

  • Proxy via AAE

    Hi Experts,
    Any pointers on prerequisites checks to be done for configuring receiver proxy SOAP 3.0 in integrated configuration for message flow through AAE?
    I have a scenario for direct message send to ECC from JMS queue. I thought to use IC in AAE  by creating JMS sender channel and SOAP 3.0 receiver channel to connect ECC.
    Thanks
    Ray.

    Hi,
    I am able to post the messages from File/SOAP to ABAP Proxy [SOAP XI3.0] via AAE. The messages which are posted are able to monitor in RWB.
    However, when I was trying to make the scenario ABAP Proxy [SOAP XI3.0] to File via AAE, the message from ECC is flowing to integration engine which is not expected since I have configured the message flow to happen via AAE only.
    I have configured the following:
    a) SM59--> G type connection for AAE destination with path prefix as" /XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?ximessage=true"
    b) SXMSIF--> Sender ID has been defined with service and component as " * " and selected the required outbound service interface and namespace from the list
    c) SXMB_ADM--> WIth category as RUNTIME, parameter as IS_URL and subparameter as Sender ID, current value is configured as dest://<http destination of AAE>
    d) For the outbound service interface, an outbound proxy is generated in ECC for message triggering.
    e) Sender channel was configured as SOAP with message protocol XI3.0. The module tab was configured with prameter: ignoreDuplicate=true and generateSysAck-true for XISOAPAdapterBean module.
    f)  The integrated configuration was done with sender soap channel and file receiver.
    When message was triggered from ECC, it went to Integration engine and failed with red flag. The error trace read like this.
    - <!--  Receiver Determination
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="RCVR_DETERMINATION">NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>No receiver could be determined</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    I was expecting the message in RWB and when I checked the channels, there is no trace of the message and the channel is inactive.
    Please let me know where I am missing...
    Thanks!

  • Call another proxy via business service of first proxy

    I have a proxyservice1. I want to call another proxy service (proxyservice2) via business service (businessservice1).
    My proxyservice1 routes to businessservice1.
    So in my businessservice1 I have mentioned the below URL in "Transport Configuration"/"Endpoint URI" in "Business Service Configuration" .
    My proxy service "proxyservice2" url to be called:
    http://localhost:7001/projectname1/foldername1/ServiceName1
    I have logging in proxyservice2 as first step. But I don't see the traces of "proxyservice2" getting called from businessservice1 of proxyservice1.
    Is the format of url for the proxy "proxyservice2" correct? Also is the above procedure valid?

    Hi,
    Why dont you create the business service 1 upon the proxy service 2?..There is an option in Business service configuration where u can create a BS upon a PS.
    Have you tested proxy service 2 using test console?..can u see the reports?..
    If yes test BS1 and check if you can see the reports...
    Atlast u can check if testing PS1 shows u the reports of PS2.
    I think this shoul wok...Please let us know of any problems..
    Regards.

  • Can't mount NFS share via GUI

    Mac OS X 10.8.2
    MacBookPro5,3
    Hello,
    I've recently upgraded to OS X 10.8.2 and am having great difficulty in mounting my NFS shares via the OSX GUI. This worked fine at OS X 10.6.
    My aim is to provide an automount type of setup so that less experienced users don't have to worry about the command line.
    Can someone please point me in the right direction here?
    This is what I've tried to date.
    My NFS service is hosted on my Debian server. It supports NFS v4. The service is working and stable and is used routinely with Ubuntu clients. It has also worked with OS X 10.6 clients in the past, but not with OS X 10.7 clients.
    To date I have tried the following options:
    Mount via finder: Connect to server option using syntax: nfs://<user>@<server>/<share>
    setting up autofs using the instructions from pmbuko
    using the command line to mount the share.
    The first option failed repeatedly.  I did find that it would eventually work, though only after I'd manually mounted the share at the command line.
    I have not been able to get the second option to work.
    I initiate autofs using the command 'automount -vc' and see that the connection is recognised
    when I attempt to cd into a directory below the mount point, I eventually get the message 'Connection Refused'.
    when I check my Debian logs, I find that the NFS service had actually received an authenticated mount request from the Mac.
    when I check my Mac Console logs, I see an error:kernel: nfs_connect: socket error 61 for <server>/<share>
    I was able to get the third option working, but only after using the '-o resvport' option.
    'Something' does appear to be broken with OS X 10.8.2  as an NFS client.
    Any thoughts?

    I have found a work around that meets my imediate needs, though it doesn't allow me to use autofs functionality.
    The work around uses the traditional Unix/Linux approach of automatically mounting a file system or NFS share via fstab at boot time. OS X 10.8 still supports fstab, even though the file is not included in the default installation.
    Once mounted, the NFS share appears as if it is part of the normal file system.
    The following is only intended for people confident in Unix or Linux systems administration and in using a shell environment via the command line. Do not attempt this if you do not have these skills.
    To set up for fstab, do the following within a terminal session:
    create an empty directory in your file system that you can use as your mount point for your NFS share:
    sudo mkdir /data/share
    sudo chown root:wheel /data/share
    using your favourite editor, create the fstab file (in a terminal type 'man fstab' for details)
    sudo vi /etc/fstab
    add similar to the following to /etc/fstab and then save and exit, substituting your own values where appropriate
    # My NFS share
    <your-server>:/<your-share> /data/share nfs  resvport,rw,hard,intr 0 0
    sudo chown root:wheel /etc/fstab
    Please note: you may not need the resvport option in the fstab line above. It will depend on your NFS server's requirements.
    Once you have done this, reboot your Mac and your NFS share should be mounted at the mount point that you defined.
    If not, check your logs to see what went wrong.
