Shutdown with java

Question

to invoke notepad Runtime.getRuntime().exec("notepad.exe "); command works good. but for shutdown and logoff can anyone help me???

this works for win98++, but it must be run from a jar
class ShutdownWindows
  public ShutdownWindows()
    try{Runtime.getRuntime().exec("C:\\WINDOWS\\RUNDLL.EXE user.exe,exitwindows");}
    catch(Exception e){e.printStackTrace();}
  public static void main(String args[]){new ShutdownWindows();}
