Signature in stationary

I love stationary. Is there a way to attach a signature in stationary? It seems like the almost absolute personal touch. Thank you, Janet

V.K. is correct.
However you can select an Apple created template, modify it as you wish, then under the File menu select Save as template. Give it the same name if you like but it will be saved in a folder called My Templates. You would have to do this for each different Apple template you want to modify for your own personal tastes but having done so it would open with your own signature and other features you wanted to include.
Create a signature by writing one on paper and scanning it to a JPEG file and copy & paste this into your new template.
Of course, as V.K. said the original Apple template would itself be unchanged.
Your personal templates can be accessed in the same way as Apple's - from the My Templates option.

  • Signatures in Stationary

My co-worker and I both use MacBooks and are running 10.5.2. She gets her custom signature to show up in stationary templates and I don't. We also created a custom stationary style and neither of us can get a signature in that template. Are there any "rules" for a signature in stationary?

    Hello abachelorgirl,
It sounds like you would like to set a default signature for one of your email accounts.  You will want to verify a few things in the Signatures Preferences.
In the left colum, you will want to make sure the email address in question is highlighted.  The middle column should then list the name or label for that signature, and the right column is where you can edit the signature.  I also recommend making sure the signature label is selected in the Choose Signature field when you have your email address highlighted in the left column.
You can also drag the signatures in the middle column to the email address in the left column if you need to move the signature to a different account.
You can find more information here:

  • Outlook 2013 Mail Option buttons not working

Microsoft Office Outlook 2013 issue where in Outlook File>Options>Mail the "Spelling and Autocorrect", "Signatures", and "Stationary and Fonts" buttons will not respond. I have searched and searched but I cannot make these
    buttons work.
Solutions I have tried with no results:
    Running Outlook in Safe Mode
    Disabling all Com-Addins
    Reinstalled Outlook
    Ran Office Repair
    Re-created Mail Profiles
    Disabled HIPS protection
    Changed Registry values in:
        HKCU>Software>Policies>Microsoft>Office>15.0>Common>MailSettings
        HKCU>Software>Microsoft>Office>15.0>Common>MailSettings
        HKLM>Software>Classes>Wow6432Node>CLSID>{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
            (Default) Key and LocalServer32 Key
Tried to get to signature through MS Word
I am unable to navigate to the location of the signature block and I am able to place signatures there through adding .rtf, .htm, and .txt file. I am able to add them into the email, but when I choose "signatures" no window opens to add/edit current
    signatures.
Please Help! I cannot think of anything else to try!
    -Chris

    Hi Chris,
Are these three buttons grayed out?
What version of Windows and Outlook 2013 are you using? The registry value we need to modify is different according to the version of Windows and Outlook.
    32-bit version of Windows
           HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
32-bit version of Office on a 64-bit version of Windows
           HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
    64-bit version of Office
           HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\LocalServer32
Please make sure you have modified the correct registry value.
In addition, please also make sure you have entered the correct path to Outlook.exe for the registry value. It's recommended to navigate to the path in Explorer first and then copy and paste the path to the data filed of the registry values.

  • Stationary Signature and More Templates

    Three questions:
    1. How can I get my custm signature to show up in stationary templates?
    2. How can I get more stationary templates? I already downloaded the ones form Equinex but would like more.
    3. I know that you can also create them (stationary templates) but I am not that technically savey...so is there a simple program that I can use to create them?

    Hi FD,
I am enjoying the stationary too, and wish that we had gotten more than just 30 of them in Mail. Don't want to spend the $ now on Equinox, but does that software work well, no problems w/ads appearing?? I'd heard they send junk along with it. I'm checking on your question to see if anyone offers solutions. We may be able to get templates from other programs like Word, over to Mail. If I find out, I'll let you know.

  • How can I use InDesign Logo in word or e-mail signature?

    Hello there
I'm guessing this is easy for some of you, but all these things are new to me and so seem difficult.
A friend of mine has created a logo for my publishing company Lapwing Books - great! The book is finished - great!
But I want to use the logo as an e-mail signature and in word for stationary etc.
    How do I do that?
I tried simple copy and paste, which didnt work. And I've had a route around but can't work it out.
    Any help greatly appreciated
    Richard W Hardwick

I'm sure there's plenty of ways. But the quickest would be to select the Logo.
File>Export and select JPG and then make sure "Selection" is active.
Then insert the image into your email. Google the name of your email application and "insert image signature", e.g., "Outlook insert image signature"

  • How to create REAL "stationary" or "forms" in Mail?

I have been a very long time Eudora user, but i want to move over to Mail in the near future.
It looks like the product is almost business class an will do almost everything I need it to do. I am also planning on getting an iPhone so similar mail programs probably won't hurt.
I actually used mail as my every day mail program for one of my e-mail accounts for a week.
The problem I found for the business that I am in (I own several e-commerce companies), is that I use the stationary feature of Eudora several times a day.
I know that mail uses the word stationary, but Eudora calls Stationary a piece of mail that is essentially a template for your e-mail.
This is essentially like the template you use in MS Word.
When you find yourself sending the same exact e-mail several times a day to customers (re-explaining shipping times, pointing them to the FAQ page, etc.) you find this feature to be INVALUABLE.
Mail does not seem to have anythign like it... at least that I have found or can see in any manual.
I know that I could "fake it" by saving e-mails elsewhere and openign them, but frankly, when I simply pull down a menu that says "reply with" and I stop on the specific statonary that I want to reply with... it could not be faster or esier.
is this coming in the next version of mail? or is it there already and I am missing something?
Eudora is no longer being updated for Mac so i need to move to Mail... but I really nee this feature...
Any tips or suggestions that allow me to do this fast?
    thanks
    Rich

Hello, Rich. Thanks for joining the Apple forum. I posted the following on another thread earlier tonight and will repost it here for your convenience. I hope it helps you out:
    Using a template in Mail.app
    1. Design your template as a webpage. Keep in mind you want very basic HTML code in here.
    2. Save it as "template.html".
    3. Whenever you need to use the template open "template.html" in TextEdit. Select All and Copy.
    4. Paste into a new letter in Mail.
    5. Edit and send.
Here are 30 free templates. Some are too wide, IMO, but they offer a great launching point for your own designs should you need it: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/templates/
There is more power in the Styles features built into mail but the above quick and dirty method will get you going in an hour. If you are interested in exploring Styles, check out this tutorial for a signature file: http://www.allforces.com/2006/04/14/css-signatures/

  • Add a jpeg logo to email stationary

I need to create a signature for emails that has a live website link.  Since I can't do this using a screen shot I've tried to save it as stationary in emails.  It saves text fine but when I add my logo as a jpeg it comes up with 'stationary cannot contain attachments that are not images' - but it is an image.  Any help would be so welcome.

What version of Mail is it, or OSX version?

  • Signature photo broken when emailing from iPhoto

I have a photo above my name in my default signature in Mail. When I click the Email" button in iPhoto to send photos via email, my signature photo shows up as and icon that reads "Untitled (82kb)".
The photo in my signature works FINE if I create a new email, but not in the new emails that iPhoto creates with the pictures attached.
I added the photo to the signature field in Mail's preferences by dragging and dropping the .JPG file from the Finder. That, and copying and pasting seems to be the only way to put a photo in a signature. Neither method works when initiating an email from iPhoto.
    Mail 2.1
    iphoto 5.0.4
    Any ideas, anyone?
    Thanks!

    Marius,
set the mailer in the iPhoto Preferences to "Mail.app", not to "iPhoto"
    iPhoto > Preferences > General
              Email Photos using: Mail
This way you will be able to mail your photos directly from iPhoto, but you cannot use the iPhoto cards; use the Mail Photo stationary instead, once the mail panel opens.
For some reason mailing using iPhoto as Mailer works for me only, if I am mailing from my iCloud accoun,t and if Mail is set to use the iCloud account by default.

  • Can't Switch Signatures

All of a sudden, mail won't let me switch signatures when composing an email (the 'signatures' box is greyed out).
For one of my email accounts, I use a stationary template...and up until now, I would apply the stationary and the signature would disappear. I would then just go to the 'signatures' box, select the one I want, and it would insert it after my stationary.
    Then, today...no more!
    any help?

Not sure if this is any kind of a solution for the problems mentioned so far, but I discovered I was making a silly misteake trying to get my sigs to appear randomly (See the April issue of Macworld for the details from Christopher Breen). While I had created a dozen or so sigs, the next step was to select "At Random" in the "Choose Signature" pop up menu. But, that menu was greyed out/disabled! What's going on?! 8-| Not until I wrote to Mr. Breen, did I notice that the pane on the left of the window is NOT a list of accounts only. WHile all your accounts are there, the very top item is probably called "All Signatures." DOH! As long as that is what is 'selected' that "Choose Signature" pop up will be disabled. Amazingly, Mail provides a single place to store as many sigs as you want but it also provides a way to put as many of them or as few of them as you want in any account! That's a simple drag and drop operation, of course. Sooo....
If you can't seem to get that "Choose Signature" pop up to be active/available, one of two things may be the problem. 1. You may not actually have any sigs in that account! 2. You don't actually have any account selected/highlighted.
Hope that helps someone making the same errerz eye did! [blush]

  • Mac Mail is not letting me select custom stationary.

I created a stationary in Mail & saved it as such.  The stationary is saved under the custom area and consist of mostly text and then some basic graphics at the end of the message (my fance e-mail signature w/a picture).  When I select a new message and then expand the stationary section, I go to custom and select my saved stationary (in the preview it looks like what I saved) by double clicking but nothing happens - I have also tried clicking and dragging - copy and paste, etc.  The text & graphics do not appear in my new e-mail.  I have tried deleting and re-creating the stationary as well as restarting Mail & my computer on multiple occasions but nothing seems to work.  All of the other pre-installed stationarys seem to work just fine.
What I am trying to do is set up premade letters that I e-mail to people all the time, I am tired of typing the same e-mail over and over again.  I have a dozen or so that I want to type up and save and then just select the appropriate one for my client, type in their name and other minor changes to make it 'customized' to them and click send.....
    Any suggestions?
    I am using a MBP, Intel Core 2 Duo w/MAC OSx 10.7.3 - Mail is V 5.2 (1257)

It is not the png or the jpeg.  I am using Mavericks and I did all the steps that LHinson did above and still could not use the stationary I created. And, my message was only text--no images.  Does anyone have a solution to this yet?  Thanks!

  • Server-side email signatures?

    Hello!
I'm looking for a way to be able to automatically add a set signature to all outgoing emails from our server. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks!

The mail client knows the message format as it's constructing it, and the SMTP server serves as the transport for those messages.
Mail servers don't traditionally modify the innards of the mail messages.
If you want or need to do this (and can't do this via the clients, or via setting up mail stationary or other such), have a look at [AlterMIME|http://pldaniels.com/altermime>, and at the various recipes [here|http://www.howtoforge.com/add-disclaimers-to-outgoing-emails-with-altermi me-postfix-debian-etch] and [here|http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=10402971] and [here|http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/archive/macosx-admin/2007-August.txt], and the caveats that are posted around the net.
I don't know of a Mac OS X Server recipe for this.
Definitely also look at message encryption, if the messages are sensitive. That's far more likely to work than would those footers.
IMO, this stuff tends to make companies look incorrigibly bureaucratic at best, and like clown cars at worst. I'm half expecting somebody will want a click-licensed EULA mail message to create the first SMTP clown rocket, too.

  • One person on one computer adding multiple electronic IDs or signatures to one document

I recently created a simple form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.  It has several places for signatures.  I sent along with the form the Adobe user guide instructions for creating electronic IDs and signatures.  However, in several instances, our executives have given their administrative assistants permission to sign for them.  The assistants are also required to add their own signatures.  Apparently, when they click on any signature field, their bosses' signatures come up.  Can someone tell me how one person can create multiple electronic signatures and be able to select from among them in order to fill out one of these forms?

When a user is signing a form, the digital certificates that are installed (in Acrobat) on the computer being used to sign the PDF will be available to be used to create the signature.  If only the "bosses" certificate is on the machine, this will be the only on available.  Make sure all certificate that could be used to sign are installed on the machine being used to sign.
This screen shot is from the security settings in Acrobat, it shows multiple certifcates are installed.
And here is the signature dialog with the option to use one of the installed certificates on the machine...
    Hope this helps.
