Signed apk file shows only header when run - the rest of the screen is blank

I have
built a folio for Android app.
published the folio
Used DPS app builder to build the app
used terminal to build the keystone
Use the DPS Tool to sign the app
I transferred the apk file to the Android device and installed it - it installs fine
When the app opens all that can be seen is the icon of the app in the top left corner of the screen and a menu tool, top right corner for Settings and About
The screen where the app should be showing is completely black.
The DPS App builder screen still shows that the app is unsigned, as shown below.
The other thing that is weird, I think, is that the apk file created is 3.6 megs large, while the files in the folio are quite large and on the iPad the app is 500 megs.
I guess I have three questions:
1. What am I missing that the screen comes up black on the tablet?
2. Why does the DPS app builder show that the app is still unsigned.
3. Shouldn't my apk file size match the size of the folio?

You need to:
1) Publish the folio as free
2) Put the app in the store as a paid app
Then people have to pay to download the app, but once they have it they can download the folio at no charge.
I suggest reading this blog entry from Bob Levine that explains the difference between Single Edition and multi-issue applications. On Android and Windows you must create a multi-issue application.

That article did seem to confirm that it is not as straight forward as it might seem. Since then I have deleted some of the TV episodes I downloaded on iTunes and the available storage has increased, so I can only assume that when reviewing in finder the files for iTunes are not shown and it would appear one has to go into iTunes to delete them.
I guess I may need to set up an external hard drive to store TV series etc as long as it is easy to transfer between the external drive and the MAC and subsequently my iPad as well, but that is for another discussion.

Shockwave shows no content when run with limited privileges

We're deploying showckwave player in our company.
When installing shockwave player on windows 7 wirh IE9 shockwave shows only content when IE9 is run in Administrative Mode. If IE9 is run with limited privileges which is default shockwave shows no content (i.e. http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/).
Any solution for this?

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device (iPhone) using debug build. When running with a release build, the result handler is never called (nor is the fault handler called). Viewing the BlazeDS logs in debug mode, the call is received and send back with data. I've narrowed it down to what seems to be a data size issue.
I have targeted one specific data call that returns in the String value a string length of 44kb, which fails in the release build (result or fault handler never called), but the result handler is called as expected in debug build. When I do not populate the String value (in server side Java code) on the object (just set it empty string), the result handler is then called, and the object is returned (release build).
The custom object being returned in the call is a very a simple object, with getters/setters for simple types boolean, int, String, and one org.23c.dom.Document type. This same object type is used on other other RemoteObject calls (different data) and works fine (release and debug builds). I originally was returning as a Document, but, just to make sure this wasn't the problem, changed the value to be returned to a String, just to rule out XML/Dom issues in serialization.
I don't understand 1) why the release build vs. debug build behavior is different for a RemoteObject call, 2) why the calls work in debug build when sending over a somewhat large (but, not unreasonable) amount of data in a String object, but not in release build.
I have't tried to find out exactly where the failure point in size is, but, not sure that's even relevant, since 44kb isn't an unreasonable size to expect.
By turning on the Debug mode in BlazeDS, I can see the object and it's attributes being serialized and everything looks good there. The calls are received and processed appropriately in BlazeDS for both debug and release build testing.
Anyone have an idea on other things to try to debug/resolve this?
Platform testing is BlazeDS 4, Flashbuilder 4.7, Websphere 8 server, iPhone (iOS 7.1.2). Tried using multiple Flex SDK's 4.12 to the latest 4.13, with no change in behavior.

After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me.

Sounds to me like a hardware issue or maybe something is stuck in the headphone jack. When you plug in headphones, the jack in the iPad is switched to play only through the headphones and not the iPad's speakers. Sounds like either the jack is faulty or there is something stuck in the headphone jack. Get a flashlight & look inside the jack for anything that looks like it doesn't belong in there.
Regardless, I'd take it in to an Apple Store if you have one nearby to have it checked.
EDIT: "Ocean20" had an excellent suggestion above. While doing that, you may also want to rotate/twist the plug in the jack back & forth a few times as well. Dirty contacts can often times be cleared by doing this.

Back up all data now.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. You can demote it back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR.. ; sudo chown -R $UID:20 ~ $_ ; chmod -R -N ~ $_ 2> /dev/null
Be sure to select the whole line by triple-clicking anywhere in it. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar. A text window opens.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.

Why do some websites only show the headings and not the rest of the page? I was on the same website at a different location and it had discriptions for the words.

When in ma-vitalrecords.org, I put in the county and town and then went to the names. It pulls up the last name, but the rest of the information does not show, such as the child's name, date of birth, and parents. When I am at the library or other's homes, this information shows. This is not the only website that this does this. Sometimes if I hover the arrow over where the words should be, I can see the information down in the status bar. On the above website it did not.

I have the same experience. I've been narrowing down causes, but it's NOT because you're not connected to Wifi. It seems to be intermittent. For expample, I'm connected to WIFI right now. Some messages or pix that were viewable yesterday are not viewable now and others aren't. All of the messages and their attachments are available from my laptop. If I try again later, I'll be able to see different downloads than what I can see now. What's odd is all of them worked just right a few weeks ago

HT201272 I pre-ordered an album, but only 2 of the songs from that album are showing up to download. What do I need to do to get the rest of the album that I already bought?

Not sure what is going on here. I pre-ordered an album. One of the songs was available for instant download so I have that in my library now. I received an email saying that the rest of the album is available for download. When I go into my purchased songs as instructed, it only shows 2 other songs from that album. Not sure what I need to do.

Crystal Reports Save As shows only a max of 100 sufolders in the Enterprise

We are having an issue with Crystal Reports 2008, when we try to save reports to the Enterprise repository (Business Objects XI R2).
We have a huge list of customers in one of the top folders in the repository structure, but in crystal, when you go to File>Save As>Enterprise and expand folders there, only 100 customer subfolders are displayed.
In InfoView you can see the same hundred folders, plus a NEXT link, that will display the rest of the list. No idea if there is a relatinoship between the BO configuration and the Crystal behaviour, but it is not working in crystal!
Can anyone please help?

Hi Alvaro,
If you right-click on the parent folder, you will have the option for First Batch, Next Batch, Previous Batch, Last Batch and Find. You can use these options to find the folder you need.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you are only seeing the 2 most recent days of your web browsing history in Safari.
If you haven't tried this yet, I suggest going to History > Show All History when Safari is open to see if more sites come up. You can find this step and more information at the following link:

All messages will only show the latest message received, but not the rest of the conversation until I send a response

I'm having some issues with my messages, text and iMessage. When I receive a message it will only show the last one sent from that person, even if they have sent me multiple texts. I am then not able to see the rest of the conversation until I send a response back. Even then the message takes longer to send than when messages is working properly. I've tried resetting and restarting the phone and it is still doing the same thing. It has done this in the past and restarting the phone usually worked, but I recently did the latest software update and it is now doing this consistently. Anyone have any similar issues or ideas to maybe try and fix it?

If you are having an issue with your iPhone only showing the most recent message of a conversation in the Messages application, and you have already tried restarting and resetting the iPhone, the next thing to try would be to back up any data on the iPhone, erase it and set it up as a new device. When will tv shows be available to the rest of the world?

i'm living in ireland and i want to know how to download american tv shows? its really stupid that it only seems to be available in america. does anyone know when the rest of the world will be able to buy and download this stuff?

Apple can only sell what the TV companies allow them to sell. If they only allow them to sell their programs in the US, then there's not a lot we (or indeed, Apple) can do about it.
For instance, Lost is shown on RTÉ, so they will have an exclusive right to show the program in the Republic of Ireland (or at the very least, the right to show it first). What happens then if iTunes start offering the program at the same time? All these contractual problems have to be sorted out.
We're not allowed to speculate about future Apple products here, but I think it's a matter of public record that Apple are actively pursuing international rights for the TV shows in the ITMS. Apple would love to sell you TV shows, and they will whenever they are allowed to do so.

You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 41 days" and won't let me download the rest of the shows even though I haven't changed accounts and I'm using the same account I purchased the shows with.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

How do I make preview show only one page at a time in full screen

When I show a document using full screen (or slideshow) in Preview, it shows two pages at a time. I just want to show one at a time, but can't find anything that lets me specify this. There is no relevant Preference that I can see, and if I check single page in view and then choose full screen or slideshow in view, the first page is displayed fine, but then subsequent pages are displayed two up.

Thanks. It looks like I didn't quite make my question clear enough, though.
I want to show a multi-page document one page at a time. If I open it and choose "full screen" in view, I get the first page showing just fine. But if I then use the arrow to go to the second page, Preview shows two pages (#2 and 3), and then continues to show the rest of the document two pages at a time when I advance using the arrow.
I want to show one page at a time, and be able to advance to the next page using the arrow.
Can I do this in Preview?
