Simple Tree Model  displays the subtree on second click

Hi,
I want to display a simple tree model structure with root "Tableset" and subnodes like "MARA". If i click on Mara it has to display all the fields from that table.
But it takes two clicks till the subtree opens? I suppose it needs something like a "fresh Tree".
Sinan

Hello Sinan,
you have to call the method expand_root_nodes of the tree model:
CALL METHOD model->expand_root_nodes
          EXPORTING expand_subtree = expand_subtree
                    level_count    = level_count.
expand_subtree:
If you set this parameter to 'X' , the system expands all subtrees of the root nodes
level_count:
Specifies the depth to which the root nodes should be expanded. Possible values:
0
: Only the root nodes themselves are expanded 1
: The root nodes and their first level of child nodes are expanded n
      : The root nodes are expanded down to their nth level of child nodes.
Note: If you set the expand_subtree parameter to 'X' , the value of level_count is ignored.

  • Problem while displaying the data when double clicked on JTable element

    Hi All,
    i have one List box( JList ) and one table (JTable). Both JTable and JList are positioned on the same Frame. I am able to drag the elements from JList to JTable and also i have added the mouse click action on both List box and JTable.
    if i double click on JList element, that will popup one dialog box.
    if i double click on JTable cell element that was dragged from JList, that will popup same dialog box which was opened earlier for JList action.
    But my problem here is:
    Suppose if i drag the four elements one by one from JList to JTable and (after four elements dragged) double clicked the first element which was dragged first that displayed the popup dialog box structure correctly but the data displayed in that was not correct. It is showing the data of recent dragged element( i.e, fourth element).
    But if i double click on JList element that is showing the correct data according to the double clicked element.
    What might be the problem here, why it was not displaying the correct data when double clicked on JTable element.
    Please help me here.

    I doubt it is related to your problem but:
    int row=table.rowAtPoint(new Point(evt.getX(), evt.getY()));Why are you creating a new Point? Just use evt.getPoint().
    Object obj=table.getModel().getValueAt(row, col);Don't get the data through the model method, get the data through the table method:
    Object obj = table.getValueAt(...)
    This way it will work even if the table happens to be sorted.
    Instead of creating a AssigningResourcesUI object, just disply the value retrieved from the model. That way you know whether the problem is with the mouse event code or your UI class. Like Walter suggested above I"m guess the problem is with your UI class.

  • How can I display the failure caption with click box when using function keys to navigate a sim?

    I am using the keyboard function keys to navigate a simulation using Click Boxes. For instance, F7 advances the simulation to the next screen, but if the learner selects F5, a failure caption displays. I have tried deleting and re-entering the click box, placing the click box at the top of the timeline levels, starting the click box at 0 and 0.5, making the click box visible and invisible, and make the click box the entire size of the screen.

    Well, I guess that's that. Thanks for replying, I do appreciate it or else I would have been trying for days, wasting all sorts of time.

  • Second line item in Shoppin cart is not displaying the details

    Second line item's district  value is not displayed when the detailed button of second line item is clicked.
    In the shopping cart , there are two line items are added. ( before ordering )
    click on the detail button of first line item, then click on the Ship to address tab . it is displaying the details of the first line item ship to address.
    For getting the value in the district field, BBP_doc_change_badi is implemented .
    The problem is when i click on the detail button of second line itme , the value in the district field is cleard.
    When i click on refresh buttion after that, the value is there.
    I debugged BBP_DOC_CHANGE_Badi~bbp_SC_change method,
    When the second line item is clicked, it populates only the value of first line item . After that if i click on any other buttion, the it_item in the badi populates the second line item value.
    Is this a standard error in SRM or is there any way to display the value of second line item when it is clicked at the first time

    Hi,
    In item category details insure there is tickmark for Schedule line allowed,
    In sales order at item level under shipping tab see storage location ,plant is appearing or not,

  • ALV Simple Tree: How to customize sum levels?

    Hi,
    I have the following issue:
    I use the ALV Simple Tree to display a hierarchy. In this hierarchy one element is the currency of the values I want to display. Therefore the currency might not be the top-level of the hierarchy and as a consequence the tree/table looks like this:
    Region/Curr. | Amount 1 | Currency
    EUROPE       | 2000     | ***
    - EUR       | 1000     | EUR
    - USD       | 1000     | USD
    -> Different currencies are added with no respect to currency rates or the likes. Only the currency field is filled with stars.
    Question: How can I prevent sums for a tree level?
    The hierarchy is flexible, so I require a dynamic solution (for example if there are two levels before the currency or none).
    If anyone got a link to the documentation for the Simple Tree (or something like that), I would also really appreciate it!
    Kind Regards,

    I've found several similar questions in this forum, but none of the answers have resolved my problem: I have a SQL Server 2012 DB using simple recovery model.  The MDF file is 12 GB and the LDF file is 10 GB.  I'm trying to shrink the size of the
    LDF file.  I've read that for simple recovery model DBs there are reasons for delaying log file shrinking, but I still can't find a solution based on these reasons.
    When I try to shrink it using this command:
    DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDB_log, 1000000)
    I get these results, and no change of file size:
    DbId FileId CurrentSize MinimumSize UsedPages EstimatedPages8 2 1241328 128 1241328 128
    The same results running this:
    DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDB_log, 1000000, TRUNCATEONLY)
    There doesn't appear to be any open transactions:
    DBCC OPENTRAN()No active open transactions.DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.
    And this returns NOTHING:
    SELECT name, database_id, log_reuse_wait_desc FROM sys.databases WHERE database_id = DB_ID()name database_id log_reuse_wait_descMyDB 8 NOTHING
    I've also tried running the following, but nothing useful is returned:
    SELECT * FROM sys.dm_tran_database_transactionsSELECT * FROM sys.dm_exec_requests WHERE database_id=DB_ID()SELECT * FROM sys.dm_tran_locks WHERE resource_database_id=DB_ID()
    Any other suggestions of what I can do to shrink this log file?  Or perhaps someone can justify its enormous size?
    David Collacott

    The answer is pretty simple.
    The following code is the problem:
    DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDB_log, 1000000)
    You are telling SQL Server that you want to "shrink" the MyDB_log file and the target size is 1TB.  Well according to you the MyDB_Log file is well below the 1TB size you are targeting, in fact it's only 10GB so SQL Server is doing precisely what you
    are telling it to do.
    See, according to the SQL Server documentation
    here, target size "Is the size for the file in megabytes, expressed as an integer."
    Now if you'd like to actually shrink the log file down to, oh say 1GB, then you should try the following command:
    DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDB_log, 1000)
    The theory being 1000 * 1048576 (i.e. 1MB) is equal to 1GB.

  • Is it good idea to change Simple Recover Model into Bulk-Logged on ETL system?

    We are having an ETL process which inserts lots of data into tables. This database is set to Simple Recovery Model and the transaction log is growing a lot. I was thinking that would it help to set this database into Bulk-Logged Recovery Model? We are
    taking full backups on daily basis. So is there some operations which are not logged in Bulk-Logged Recovery Model compared to Simple Recovery Model?

    Hi bugarilenet,
    Since this is SQL Azure database forum, so we need to verify if you want to change the recovery model on SQL Azure database. If yes, it will fail when change the recovery model to
    Bulk-logged, or Simple from Full
    model. In Windows Azure SQL database, the Recovery model is set when the master database is created and cannot be modified because the ‘master’ database is read only for anyone but Microsoft. For more information, see:
    http://alexandrebrisebois.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/windows-azure-sql-database-cannot-be-set-to-simple-recovery-model/
    In addition, if it is on premise SQL database, in simple and bull-logged recovery models some operations can be minimally logged, For example in Simple the older non-active transactions are overwritten when SQL reaches the end of the transaction log, however,in
    bulk-logged and full you need to back up the older non-active transactions before the older records can be overwritten. There is more detail about Database Recovery Models in SQL Server, you can review this article.

  • B2C ISA / E-Commerce 5.0 - Display the Productmenu recursively / hierarchic

    Hello. Is there any possibility or parameter, that the Productmenu will alway display the parentcategories, when someone clicks on a subcategory. Currently it looks like that:
    Products
    - parent1
    - parent2
    - parent3
    when a user clicks on parent1 the menu changes:
    Products
    - parent1
    - - child1
    - - child2
    - - child3
    - - child4
    But it should look like that:
    Products
    - parent1
    - - child1
    - - child2
    - - child3
    - - child4
    - parent2
    - parent3
    Anyone knows a solution? That would be great!

    Hello Thomas,
    We did something very simlar to this. We actually had the requirement to expand all the parents to start with.
    See this thread for hints.

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I display disclaimer message popup window before display the SSRS report?

    Question:
    The requirements is that when you click the report on report manager you will get an popup window with the disclaimer message, only after you read this message you can click the “Agree” button, then you can continue to read the content of the report, if you
    disagree with it, you can click the “Disagree” button to back to the home or other path you want.
    Answer:
    To achieve this goal, we can add some JS or JQuery code in the report.aspx file in the path like:”C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportManager\Pages”
    Find the path of the report.aspx file and add these code in to it.

  • Not able to display the simple Node Text

    Hi All,
    I am creating a simple tree. Even though I pass the node-text  , I am not not to see the node-text in the screen.
    Nevertheless, when I try to debug and analyse, I am able to see the node-text in the node table that is formed.
    The simple error is annoying me.
    Any help would be highly appreciated...

    Hi Prabhu
    IBONodeElement test = null;
    test = (IBONodeElement)wdThis.wdGetDefinedimensiongafController().wdGetContext().nodeEvaluationDimensions().currentEvaluationDimensionsElement().model();
    What is this model() .
    You remove the try catch method once and test it to trace the error.Why cant you use typed AccessAPI to fetch the values from the node element.Is your node have more elements test it.By getting the size of the node.
    That too you are setting values to only current context element .Not for other elements.Everytime you are setting the values to current context element,thats why you are getting only one element values at a time.Iterate properly and try to set the values for each element
    wdContext.currentEvaluationDimensionsElement().setDimension(itElement.getAttributeValue("KPIParameterDefinitionName").toString());
    See the above code every time you are setting to currentNode lement notforother elements.

  • How to Display folder structure in Content repository as a tree model

    Hi,
    I have a requirement in which i need to display a hierarchical folder structure in UCM as a hierarchical model in my portal. Which approach should I follow. Expecting suggestions.. I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.
    Thank you

    Sorry , my earlier reply was a bit hasty...
    So do you need a navigation model based on a UCM content query ?
    Or
    Would the document manager taskflow work ?
    And you don't need any MDS customization (Terribly sorry for my post above). The default behavior of the document manager is to display the folder structure on the left and the contents on the right.
    After you add the DocManager taskflow, go to its properties in composer and make sure the layout is selected as "Explorer". Once you do this, you should notice that a new split pane has appeared, and its collapsed by default. Save the page and open the split pane to see a tree structure of the folder hierarchy in UCM.
    Would this work for you ?
