Simulation Help for Presentation

I have been working on a wireless vital sign monitor that takes heart signal, oxygen concentration and temperature signals using sensors and elecrodes. The signals are then filtered and amplified in the range of 0-5 V.
The microcontroller is the next section that is responsible to package the signal, transmit them wireless, receive them wireless and send them serailly using RS232 cable to PC in the format (delimiter1)signal1(delimiter2)sigbal2(delimiter3)signal3.
The labview then finally separates the data, analyses them and displays the results digitally and in waveforms.
That was the initial plan. The microcontroller chip has blown up and I have less than a week to present this project.
I know how to demonstrate my hardware parts separately.
I am however having a hard time to figure out how to demonstrate my VI part.
This is what it does.
In a continous WHILE loop
- Read 27 bits at a time from the serial port.
- Separate the data (delimiter1)signal1(delimiter2)sigbal2(delimiter3)signal3 using Match Pattern into 3 separate signals
- Convert each signal from binary (out of ADC) to voltage(0-5V mapping) to their respective entity(egs. temperature)
- Display the results
- LEDs to switch on if limits go out of range
Any advice on how I can demonstrate my VI as working one. I have tested each part by itself and they work well.

Thanks for your reply once again. I tried to create a simulated constant using the method advised by you but I can only make a constant of 1 column.
This is what I want to achieve. I have a .txt file with data in it. The data is in the form:
data1 data2 data3
0.0520833 95 85
0.598958 95 85
1.41591 95 86 and so on.
I want to be able to read one line at a time from this data, separate the 3 datas using the vi I have attached and get 3 distinct digital separate readings and after the last row, start again at the beginning of file.
I tried to achieve this by creating a simulated constant as I though that would be a good approach but that did not work for me. Can you advice.

F4 Help for Presentation Server Folder Name .

Hi Experts,
I want show the F4 help on the presentation server.
If the file is selected REquirement is that , on clicking the F4, the dialog box should open.
If we choose the file , then file should be selected , but if we select the folder then folder should be selected.
Normal function modules or methods present in SAP opens the folder containt in the folder.
Kindly provide anyFM name or class method name o achieve the functiknality .

HELP! Presentation in 5 hours/Cannot control mouse for notes!

Hello all! I hope someone can help me with this because I have tried everything. I have a Keynote presentation ready for presenting in 5 hours. I have plugged my Powerbook in my TV (which has VGA connection) to test my presentation out. The presentation shows up on my TV correctly, and I see on my powerbook the presenter version with timer and next slide etc. My problem is that I have notes entered into each slide that I can see from my Powerbook however I cannot scroll downwards to read them all because my mouse pointer shows up on the TV instead of my Powerbook. I'm helpless without these notes, and it will take me a while to transcribe them to another document to print. I would love to know if there is a solution for this.

Launch Keynote. Go to the Help menu and click on Keynote Help. In the Help Viewer, click Learn About Keynote and then click on Keyboard Shortcuts. You need to use U and D to scroll notes Up or Down during a presentation. You cannot use the mouse for this. To have your cursor appear on the presentation screen, click C.

I do not understand presentation in terms of collection and disbursement you mean from the business side of things or will i say looking at it from a business analyst perspective. I have some info if you can send an email add then i will send something which might be helpful though i am not sure, I myself i am just moving into such area as a SAP Business Analyst for Claims managment though i have an insurance background of another ERP so i might be able to help.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Not able to define the Simulator definition for adapter service

Hi all,
I am trying to define a simulator definition for adapter service(which is a synchronous adapter service) but I am not able to define the same. As soon as I input Name, serice Name, Service version, Process Name, PIP, Type and Service Type and click on "Next" or "Save And Return" I am getting the error as--
"ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 3 with name "_SYSSMU3_2097677531$" too small ORA-06512: at line 1".
Can any one suggest me why I am getting this error. I already had defined the simulators before, and at that time I didn't faced this error, but now I am not able to define the same.
Pls help me to resolve this problem.

Its an issue with your database rather than with CAVS. Try increasing your rollback segment space.

I wrote the following query :

The output is like this :

The problem is that I dont want the cust_id to overlap in buckets. That is one cust_id should be present in only one bucket.
Is this possible?

I use images for presentations. Recently I've noticed a decrease in quality ( sharpness and definition) of pictures copied into Keynote. Same problem with both JPEGs and TIFF files. I've recently upgraded to keynote 09, but with no improvement.

I use images of paintings for presentations. Over the last 3 months or so I've noticed that I cannt copy images (either JPEg or TIFF) without a reduction in sharpness and definition. Hope someone can help with this problem.

The solution:
Dont print to PDF!
SAVE AS COPY, then select Adobe PDF and click SAVE, this will bring up a dialog box with the options you need (including the "High Quality Print" Adobe PDF Preset)

Need help for style not displaying correctly in chm

I’m using RoboHelp HTML version 8. RH8 is dropping a style from my stylesheet. The style appears to be applied correctly when I view a topic (the HTML file) directly with either IE or Firefox browser, and it appears correctly when I view the topic with the “Item View” feature in RH8 (the eyeglasses icon). However, in the compiled HTML help output from RH, the style is not correct. The style in question is a class of style (“desc” for descriptions) for a subset of table data. The “desc” class should have the data in the cell left justified, and the cell width should be 50%. The main parent style for table data (centered text, cell width varies) seems to be applied instead, and the child style for descriptions is not applied. Below I've included a screen shot of a table page as it looks in Item Viewer, then the same page as it appears in the CHM, and finally the style sheet in its original state before being added to RH.
Here are things I’ve checked for:
·         The project is large, with over 6300 topics and a compiled chm of 5560 KB. RH crashes when I try to apply style sheets or master pages to multiple topics from the Topic List. However, I created a much smaller test project with 122 topics and still get the dropped style.
·         The style sheets were created outside of RH, and are also used for presenting the same content over the web outside of RH. The styles display fine in the other context through a browser. I have not modified the style sheet in RH, but I have opened it in RH. I’ve also tried deleting and re-copying the style sheet into the project.
·         There is another set of styles applying to the tables, for table rows. There is a “tr” class for the heading and classes for rotating background colors. These child styles appear correct with no problems. Every row in a table belongs to a child class of row styles. In the case of table data styles, most cells require the parent “td” style and only a subclass require the child “desc” style. It’s the “desc” style that isn’t showing up in the chm. Is this a clue?
·         Multiple style sheets per topic. Apparently only one style sheet can be used per topic. In my project, I have two types of topics, called schema pages and table pages, with a style sheet for each. The same master page is used for both types. The master page uses the tables style sheet. Therefore, the tables topics (the ones with the dropped style) use only one style sheet, but it is specified in both the master page and the topic itself.   Is this a problem?
·         Reviewing the style sheet in RH. When I inspect the style sheet through RH’s Project Manager, the table data and table row styles appear under “Other” and not under “Table.” Is this a clue?
The special formatting of the description cells in our table-heavy project is essential. I’ve spend days trying to troubleshoot this problem and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Thanks for that. When I took that screenshot - bizarrely those cells all had exactly the same html. I can't easily prove that now as I have tinkered with that test page quite a lot since. I started thinking maybe I could do something "clever" with table styles to save me the joyless task of manually editing all tables in my project. In the end I gave up and decided to devote a couple of hours to going through and reformatting all tables with a font that was the same size and of a similar type face to the rest of the page. Obviously not an option in your monster project, but it worked for me.
I've seen so many random results here that I can't get my head around what exactly is going wrong - for me the issue seems connected with style = none in a table.
Anywhere else on the page, style = none yields text with font = Tahoma 10pt.
But in the table cells that text sometimes rendered ok in CHM, but often it would randomly appear far larger.
So for me the cure was to format all tables with font = arial 10pt (rendered result is similar, but somehow different enough to stop the erroneous size rendering).
That's as far as I got - as usual with time being very precious, I've had to curb my geekiness and crack on.

Providing F4 help for the same field on selection screen

There are 2 radio buttons and a parameter "p_file" on my selection scree.

2. rb_pres
If the radio button rb_appl = 'X', I need to place the logic of F4 help of application server for the field p_file. Else if the rb_pres = 'X', then I need to place the logic of F4 help of presentation server for the same field p_file.
I have written the code in the below manner

You can acheive the same by the addition of [USER-COMMAND fcode].
RADIOBUTTON GROUP group [USER-COMMAND fcode] - The addition USER-COMMAND can be used to assign a function code fcode to the first parameter in a radio button group. The function code fcode must be specified directly, and have a maximum length of 20 characters. When the user selects any radio button of the radio button group on the selection screen, the runtime environment triggers the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN and transfers the function code fcode to the component ucomm of the interface work area sscrfields.
So you code should be altered as
PARAMETERS: rb_appl RADIOBUTTON GROUP rad
                     USER-COMMAND radclick    "Addition which you have to make.
                     DEFAULT 'X',
            rb_pres RADIOBUTTON GROUP rad ,

Digital projector for presentations?

need advice for best digital projector for presentations compatible with Power Book G4

I have plugged my G4 Powerbook TI into two different projection systems, one at a Chevron facility and another at the Las Vegas Convention center. Absolutely NO problems what-so-ever! These things are designed to work with the same projectors/displays as almost anything out there, especially Apple Powerbooks.
I did just get a deal from Office Depot ($899) for a Sharp XR-11C that has 1024x768 resolution with 2,000 Lumens! OH, and it is HD ready as well! Yes, you can use it for presentations as well as hooking it up to the cable box for the Super Bowl and the Final Four! LOL! My sales manager used on her pc notebook and it was simply awesome. Super crisp, great color rendition, fairly easy to use and it came with pretty much all the cables you will ever need. YOu did keep your RGA/DVI adapter, right? You will need that more then likely. I hope this helps!
