Since subscribing to iTunes match my ipad2 no longer offers the AirPlay option on the volume bar within Music, rendering my bowers Wilkins speakers useless for both iTunes and spotify. Why is this and how can I fix it?
Apple made no mention of this being an expected issue, so I can only assume it's unintentional. Otherwise I wouldn't have subscribed to Match in the first place!
How big is your library? I would recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
- Backup your library. Always a good idea before messing with things.
- Create a new library. Refer to this article for details: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589. This won't delete your old library, you're just creating a new empty one. Also refer to this article to get back to your old library later.
- Add a few albums into this new library. Not everything, just a small sampling, as a test.
- Activate Match on this new library. You shouldn't have to re-pay, it should just say "Add Computer" or similar.
- At this point, Match should run again. With just a few albums it should complete in just a few minutes.
If iTunes doesn't crash at this point, then likely there's something about your original library that Match doesn't like - what that is I don't know, but at least you'll know it's not your PC. If iTunes still crashes, then if could be a number of other things, but probably not your library. My next suggestion (if you haven't already done this) is to uninstall / reinstall iTunes. If that doesn't work, then my next ideas you won't like.

It sounds like you had been updating the phone and now it is in recovery mode. Take a look at this info first:
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

The screen on my MacBook has just started flickering and shaking up and down while I am using it. The screen starts flickering, shaking, gets pixelated, begins to freeze, and eventually fades to white. Why is it doing this? How can I fix it?
It is a newer MacBook, just over 1 year. It is well cared for, hasn't been dropped, etc. I don't want to pay for expensive repairs for such a new computer, and I certainly can't afford a new one!
I've tried updating my system like the Support page suggested, but no improvement. The problem started just the other day, and is progressively getting worse.
.... as I typed this, it did it again. Only, this time it did not flicker and shake, but got 'pixelated' (pixels came up checkered-like darkened and lightened). It did this for about 2 minutes and then stopped after I did not touch the computer.... Now it is flickering... HELP!it means that it is not a hardware issue. Other then that, Im not too sure. I recently updated my software to ios6 & have now found camera not working on my ipad. We have tried resetting & numerous other solutions but nothing has helped. Can anyone tll me why this has happened & ow o I fix it, thanks
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar at bottom
2. Hold the Camera app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Re-launch the app and test

Periodically, the sound from my MacBook Pro speakers cuts out to where it sounds as if I am just blasting music through a pair of headphones. The start up sounds and even some normal sounds coming from my computer are at the regular balanced speaker level. I sometimes use external speakers and have not had this problem with them. This has been happening more and more lately, and for longer periods of time. I'm running 10.7.5

I had to change my credit card on I tunes. It is saying it is rejecting my new card and that I have pending payments on the old card that did not go through. The old card was stolen so I had to cancel it. What do I do?
Purchase an iTunes Gift Card for roughly the amount that the unpaid purchases are for, then redeem it to the account. Quite simply the easiest way to resolve this issue. Once redeemed, the order will be paid for using the store credit, and you will then be free to change your payment method.

I fixed it!!
While not connected to any USB cable I put the iPad in recovery mode.
To do that turn the iPad completely off. Press and hold the home button while turning the iPad on, once you see the apple logo release the home button.
Turn on your OS X mac after it boots up connect the USB from iPod to Mac. iTunes should start. If not launch itunes.
Perform the factory restore process paying attention to all of the screen message windows. Then set up the ipad like it was new. -
ever since the ios5 update some of my ipod songs come out as duplicate and only on my ipod not on my itunes why is that? how can i fix it?
Hey Ryan, When you looked at Get Info as Illaass instructed did you compare all the info listed in iTunes Get Info on the computer's copy? When you looked at the song(s) that are separated, do they list anything different like a featured artist? Or a different composer / song writer? Sometimes that will trick the the software into thinking it is 2 different albums. Make the info about the album and artist match, then sync to your iPod. The songs should go back where they belong on your iPod. Good luck. Cheers.

I purchased a season of a TV show from itunes and it won't go onto my ipad, i've purchased several seasons in the past and never had this issue, how can i fix this?
Drew how is that even possible? I use gift cards all the time, any time I've had insufficient funds iTunes will not allow the purchase, sights Insufficient funds and rejects the purchase. Any time I log into my account the money in that account appears in the upper left corner. If you're not seeing that then you have other issues. Anyway... Kneil is right you should be able to rip CDs you own to your iTunes library (regardless of your money matters with iTunes), then depending on how you set up the music you need to add it to your playlist and then sync it to your iPod. Did imported music ever work? How are you ripping or importing the music to iTunes? Are you using a compatible format?
Something else to look at-- It's possible your cable is defective, have you tried a new or different cable? Some of what your describing is a bad cable issue. Good luck, Cheers. -

2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you backup your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427)?
--- If you don't regularly backup your computer, now is the time to start.
4. Do you backup your iPhone (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766)?
Check the calendar list on the left hand side of iCal. Is it that the individual events are duplicated or is it just that you have the same calendar listed more than once? If its that you have more than 1 copy of each calendar, you can delete one of the duplicate calendars to eliminate the duplicates.
If you find that it is the individual events that are duplicated then there are 2 options:
1. Restore your computer iCal database or iPhone from a backup made before the duplication occurred.
2. Use a duplication removal program (or do it by hand) to remove the duplicates: http://www.nhoj.co.uk/icaldupedeleter/
If you have a backup made before the duplication occurred, reply back with what kind of backup you have and I'll suggest how to recover the calendars.
To avoid this issue in the future:
Keep regular backups. They are your best defense against data anomalies which are a fact of life in computers (although hopefully rare).
Keep your computer and iPhone software fully up to date (Apple > Software Update / Settings > General > Software Update).
Make sure the date and time on your computer and iPhone are correct before you sync the two devices.
Make sure the cable connections between the two is solid and that the cable shows no signs of physical damage.

Some of the apps previously downloaded have now become blank - white box instead of picture. Name of app still appears. Have tried hard reboot and sync to make sure everything is up to date. Anybody ever had this? How can I fix?
One more thing to try. Double click on the home button. Scroll in that bottom line of icons (swipe finger to left) to the app that are all white. Hold your finger on the app until the - sign appears. Tap it to close the app. Hopefully it will then show up correctly. (As they say about chicken soup curing a cold, "can't hurt")
