I really do not have a lot more details to add to the question; in opening more than one tab; system is very, very slow either from trying to open when on-line or trying to open a link embedded in an email. Did not have an issue before the upgrade.

Problem solved, I think, though not internally to Firefox and not for earlier Windows versions: Windows 7 preserves former version of files and folders. right click on the filen ame or foldername and select "restore previous version". At this juncture, I have copied the previous and current versions of the folder so I can try them out and if necessary move the sessionstore file from one to another.

You might want to try resetting its power management unit; see the following tech notes:

The reason I'm suggesting this is that some startup settings are stored and preserved by a tiny battery that lasts about 5 years, inside the computer. When that battery dies, the computer may forget things like what time it is and which disk to start up from. If your Mac is around 5 years old or more, that little battery might be on its way out.
If you can't revive the Mac, don't panic. You can remove its internal hard drive and put it inside a USB/FireWire enclosure so that it can be hooked up to another Mac, and then you can use or copy all of the files and music off of it (assuming the startup problem has nothing to do with the hard drive).

How do I fix the issue of getting this message whenever I open iTunes? com.apple.MediaLibraryService quit unexpectedly?

It occured right after I upgraded (that's debatable) to Maverick and then installed iTunes. Happens when i open iTunes.

Creating below folder solved it for me:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.MediaLibraryService/Data

Upon updating to Firefox 22.0 today and restarting, all of the tabs I have open and any page I visit is zoomed in. Clicking zoom reset doesn't fix the issue.

I was automatically updated to Firefox 22.0 today.
With that update came all of my pages being zoomed. I want my old Firefox back!

Could it be the problem lies with iTunes and not Aperture? iTunes 10.6.3 was released on the same day as Aperture 3.3 -- June 11.
If someone has a configuration to test an older version of Aperture with iTunes 10.6.3 to see if the problem exists, that could be helpful.

What precisely do you mean by deleting the podcast app from both the phone and Mac? I have deleted the podcast app from my phone but on my Mac in iTunes->iPhone->Apps it shows up albeit with a button labelled "Install". What's the name of the file you are attempting to open? Is it "ScreenFlow_4.5.2.dmg"? If it is the correct name then the message is correct and you are attempting to open a file with DMG files extension and not one with a PDF file extension. Adobe Reader opens PDF files an not any other file type.

The screen is completely blank in the app ? Have you tried closing the app via the phone's taskbar and/or done a soft-reset to see if it then displays anything ?

When it does that. Replug the charger and charge to 100%. Now does is stay charged when you unplug the charger.
You may need to recalibrate your battery.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

Do you mean the Bookmarks Menu button on the Navigation Toolbar?
You only see that button if the menu bar is hidden.

How many programs do you have open while you're working in Illustrator? Do you have a lot of layers or art boards?
It could be that your computer was being slowed by too many programs, or a complex design file. The age of your computer could also be a culprit.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild the thumbnails. This can take three or four goes.
