Single Channel between two 10 Gb data Muxponders band C

I would like to install a direct trunk link between the trunk ports of two muxponders on a 15454. Does it need any special configuration using CTC or it's automatic? The client ports will be GE abd FC. Should i use GCC Termination ?

U have got the answer that u can carry GE/FC over your muxponder card.
My 2 cents regarding access management. From one of your message that u r directly connecting these cards.
So ur r using SONET (SDCC/RSDCC) as ur using this as SONET card not DWDM. These SDCC/RSDCC are accessed through ur ethernet port to manage both equipment.
If u take this muxponder over Normal DWDM box then OSC is used. This is out band management channel (or out band siganlling for management of node) OC-3 rate.
If u take this muxponder over GMPLS ready DWDM box then that box will add GCC (like RDCC of SONET)to this rate. Like RDCC, GCC is also a in band signalling.
"GCC channel does not work like an OSC channel to manage both equipments.
As per my knowledge GCC can manage ur both equipment plus it has feature of dropping GCC to Non ONS node (or third party) and see that non ONS node in ur management.
I think GCC is better than OSC, as in GMPLS network provisioning is much easier and powerful than OSC based network.

The Date class has a before() and after() method you can use to compare Date objects.

I already implemented Export to Excel funtionality in webdynpro java. Now i have a requirement to download the data to Excel only between two given dates.
I am taking two dates from the user and based on that it should download data into excel file.
Guide me on this or send pseudocode for this.

If I understand your question correctly,
you are gettting some data from R/3. You need to filter out that data which is in between two given dates , export that data to excel.
If yes, then take one more ValueNode with same structure.
and bind the filtered data to this node.
To filter out model node, use

I want to know if u can print all the dates between two given dates without using pl/sql.
date1,date2 are given
write a sql statement to display all the dates lying between those two dates.

Need a query to search between two particular dates and time period
Like i want to search table having one date field .
Suppose the date range is '01-JUL-06' and '01-AUG-06' and time frame
is 23:00:00 to 08:00:00
i.e i want to search between dates 01 july to 01 aug and also within the time frame i.e 23:00 to 08:00 hrs only

The general principle is

Org unit Hierarchy structure between two Key date s

Hello Friends,
We have an issue with displaying HR Org unit hierarchy structure between two calendar months.
The BI Report has a selection parameter to select Org unit hierarchy , Calendar month From and Calendar month To
The BI Report is to display the no.of sick absence days for employees in a chosen Org unit hier.
Employee A had a sick absence of 5 days in the month 04.2011 in the Org unit X . The same employee had a sick absence of 4 days in 05.2011.The Org unit X then delimit in 05.2011 , the Org unit X is no longer in Org structure from 05.2011.
When we run the report for 04.2011 to 04.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under Correct Org unit ie X with correct Org structure .
When we run the Report for 05.2011 to 05.2011 , the employee A is showing absence under hierarchy Org unit Not assigned which is OK .
But the issue is when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05.2011 , The employee A absence days 9 (5 +4 ) showing under Not assigned Org unit hierarchy structure which is the latest Org unit .
When I deactivate the Org unit hierarchy and choose tech name of Org unit , It is showing correct Org unit key
But The user would like to see 5 days under org unit X and 4 days under Not assigned with Correct Org unit hier structure when we run the Report from 04.2011 to 05..2011 .
We have a user Exit variable for the Key date in the Bex Report which seems to be taking only one date at any time .
Is there any way to get the correct figures under Org unit hier structure where employee had absence in when we put range of calendar months on a selection screen ?
Any advice appreciated.

Yes, we can display the same by using time dependent hierachy's i.e. your org is converted to time dependent so that respective employee shows with respective of time.

Comapre 2 same channels from two different dat filea

I want to compare the wave forms of two same channels names (in my sample data which is in attachment, the same channel names are S1KNSLLE00H3DSZP) from different dat file(S2100044 and S2100041) .
Load the 2 dat files from navigator.
Come to report and open two 2d axis systems to see the wave forms of two different channels ( Like in attachment result.jpg)
I need an autosequence to do the same for all the channels for 2 dat files automatically.

I appreciate you posting 2 data files and the jpg, but I'm afraid I still have lots of questions before I can advise you. You sent 2 *.dat files which each had 1 channel in them named "Data", which is different from your email text and the jpg you posted. Will your data sets typically have many channels in them? Your posted *.dat files had no time channel and the "Data" channel was not a waveform channel, yet the 2 different "Data" channels were different lengths. Do you want to plot your channels vs. the array index all the time (as is shown in your jpg)?
Do you want to have N sheets in REPORT, one for each channel? Why don't you want to have both "S1KNSLLE00H3DSZP" channels as curves with different colors on the same graph-- wouldn't that make it easier to compare them?
When you drag over the data channel onto a REPORT graph, you will get a reference like "[1]/Data" or "[2]/Data", which is exactly what you want to compare the "Data" channel from 2 arbitrary data files (note that the file name does not show up in the channel references). So it seems to me that the REPORT layout you sent a jpg of already satisfies what you're asking us to create for you. Why do you need a script at all?

Hi... I perform a remote copy (SCC9) yesterday, a few months i did another copy and exclude some tables, in the expert setting, now in my copy, we need a table that was excluded in the last copy (yesterday).
Do you know how to copy that table??

Calculate number of days between two festival dates in payroll schema

Hi Experts,
According to my company policy:
If an empl termination happens before Eid festival of the current year, then the pro-rated Eid bonus (yearly) is based on:
(The duration between Eid Festival date of previous year - Eid festival date of current year.)/350 days
Time Evaluation is not implemented in the system. Only payroll is implemented.
My question: How can I capture the number of days between (Eid Festival date of previous year - Eid festival date of current year) in the payroll schema ?

Hi,
You can try using date specification. If you update last year eed holiday date for the employee then you can use the operand F along with NUM to get days between last eed holiday and current payroll period last day.
i.e NUM=FaaT 0
F is operand to query date specification.
aa is the date specification.
T is for unit and it gives number of days
next space is for current payroll period last day and 0 will reset alternate date to zero if no date specification is mentioned.
Basically this will give number of days from date mentioned in date type aa to current period last day. For more info you can go through documentation on operand F for NUM.

Sharing target application between two external data connections

If I want to create two BDC connections to two separate external systems (let's say one is for HR system and one for IT admin system), can I use the same Target Application in the secure store service section if both of them use the same authentication?
Let's say both external systems allow access for 'admin1' user. Then, when setting up the external data connection I use 'impersonate windows identity' and create a target application in secure store service to map a set of users to that 'admin1' account.
When I create these two external data connections can I specify the exact same 'target application' or should I create two separate ones, one for each external system?

If you want to use impersonate, you do not need to use Secure store. Impersonation is granting the service account delegation permissions. This is part of the Kerberos authentication protocol, which needs to be configured separately.
All secure store does, is to store a set of credentials encrypted. These stored credentials can be used wherever, as long as they are valid.

How to handle single quote between two single quotes in ABAP?

I have a question regarding handling a string data.
Say I have a string ABCD'\&%$!!ABC'AAA123. Please notice that there are single quotes in my string.
I am writing a parser code in ABAP and getting into problem with if statement to check if the character read is a single quote.
When I type the following with a singleQuote between 2 singleQuoes as below, it gives error.
If CHAR = '''.
ENDIF.
How do I handle that? I searched for escape sequence and couldn't get any useful info.

if char = `'`. "note that ` is the "backquotation" mark not a regular quotation mark '

8Gig Port Channel between two 6509s

Hey all,
I have two 6509s that I'm trying to configure an 8 Gig trunk/port channel. I have an 8 port fiber module in slot 3 on both switches. When I use the following command: "set port channel 3/1-8" on it seems to take the command, but if I do "show port channel" it shows two groups:
3/1-4
3/5-8
Is there a limit as to how many gigs a port channel can be? If not, why does it split it like this?
I should also note I'm using dot1q for the trunks using Auto mode on one switch and Desirable on the other.

I did a show port cap on the interfaces and I didn't see any sort of restriction. I decided to run the command again 'set port channel 3/1-8 on' and for some reason it seemed to work this time. Not sure what changed, but it's working now.
