Single CREMDM04 XML is mapped to ADRMAS03 and CREMAS05 to 3 ECC Systems

Hi All,
What is the best possible approach to follow in a scenario when 1 single CREMDM XML is to be mapped to ADRMAS03 and CREMAS05 to be sent to 3 ECC Systems with ADRMAS03 to be posted first and then CREMAS05. The indicators in the CREMDM XML for splitting are two fields indicating the Business Unit to which each ECC System belongs to and the corresponding Business System names of these 3 ECC Systems.
Note: We have E1LFA1M segment occuring multiple times in CREMDM04.

you can do this with BPM.
In your case its - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/11/13283fd0ca8443e10000000a114084/frameset.htm

  • PR to SRM--Unable to see XML in ECC system

    Hello,
We are on ECC 6 EHP4 and SRM 7.0. We are trying to send PR to SRM system. We were able to send requirements initially, but from past 6-7 hours none of the requirements are transferred. I do not see any XML messages generated.
Please help me in finding the cause of this behavior.
Note: No configuration changes are done in the system.
    Thanks,
    Arahanth

i dont think system uses XML messages to send PR from ECC to SRM system.
PR's are transfered to SRM and shopping carts created using RFC calls , please check the LOGS in the transaction SLG1 in both the SRM system and also in the ECC system.

  • Config through SolMan and lock SPRO on ECC?

    Hi all,
My client wants to use SolMan 7.1 for all configuration and lock SPRO on ECC systems.
    1) Is it possible to lock SPRO completely at ECC side and enforce everyone to use SolMan for configuration?
    2) In what cases we need to open SPRO at ECC?
Someone from my project was mentioning that some custom configuration or special settings needs to be done in ECC and for that have to logon ECC system and use SPRO. Is that true?
Thanks for looking this problem. Any suggestions or comments will be helpful and appreciated!
    Regards,
    Shaun

    Hi
You might check this thread too for how to lock spro
How disable SPRO from Sap_new and Sap_All profile
if all the users have documented the config elements in solar02 of solman then only it is possible for you to lock spro of satellite system.
because if they want to config anything which is not there it wil be a problem
secondly if they say smthng is not there in solar02 they can try manual addition in solar02 and then you can lock spro in satellite
    hope above helps

  • Error publishing plsql webservice (xml schema mapping and/or serializer)

    Hi guys,
I'm with a problem when publishing plsql webservices from JDeveloper 11.
The scenario is something like this:
    1) I have a connection with a database 9i, and the objects (packages, object types, etc) are all in there.
    2) In this case, i can publish the package spec using the option "Publish as JAX-RPC Web Service" normally.
    3) A database 11g was created, and i compiled the objects in this environment.
    4) Then i've created a new connection with a database 11g.
    5) In this case, when i'll publish the webservice, the error occurs: "The following types used by the program unit do not have an XML Schema mapping and/or serializer specified: REC_DMP_REMESSA"
I have no idea in how to solve this case. Someone can help?
    Thank in advance.
    Best Regards,

  • How to combine "Object-to-XML (OXM)" and "Direct to XML Type" mapping?

    hi
If I have an XMLType column in my table (wich I can map using TopLink) and I have defined the structure of the contents of this XMLType column using XML Schema (wich I can map using Toplink), how can I combine both types of TopLink mappings "as transparently as possible"?
    for "Object-to-XML (OXM)" mapping
    see http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/technical/tips/ox/index.htm
for "Direct to XML Type" mapping
    see http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/doc/1013/main/_html/relmapun004.htm#CHDFIFEF
    thanks
    Jan Vervecken

Thanks for your reply James Sutherland.
Although I haven't used a "TopLink Converter" before, this seems like a good idea.
The thing is that the "TopLink Workbench Editor" for my "Direct to XML Type" mapping doesn't have a "Converter" tab, some other mapping type editors do have such a "Converter" tab.
I'm not sure if I completely understand how such a "TopLink Converter" is supposed to work. How many attributes do I need in the "XMLRow" Java object for the "MY_XML" column in the "XML_TABLE" table I try to map to?
I suppose I should try to get a situation where the "XMLRow" Java object has an "myXML" attribute of Java class type "MyXML" (where "MyXML" has been mapped to an XML Schema), not?
So do I also still need an attribute "myXMLDocument" of type org.w3c.dom.Document as I do now for the "Direct to XML Type" mapping?
Oh, by the way ... for anyone who hits this forum thread looking for the reason why the TopLink Workbench reports the problem "Attribute must be assignable to java.lang.String, org.w3c.dom.Document, or org.w3c.Node" while your attribute is of such a type, read this forum post
Re: Toplink WB 10.1.3 - Aggregate field mapping bug and XMLType question
For me the "Direct to XML Type" mapping works fine, just ignoring the waring. This is supposed to be bug number 5071250.
    thanks

  • Same import map to matmas and clfmas

    Hi,
I have a custom idoc bringing matmas and clfmas together and XI /pi would convert that file into single XSD or XML .
Can we create a import map which can be used by this import file.
import map should have both masmas and clfmas definitions....
as we know clfmas is an heirarchy.
    Sonali

    Hi Sonali,
If I have understood your requirement correctly, you have a repository that contains both standard matmas and clfmas fields. Now have created a  custom XSD from the standard IDos matmas and clfmas using PI.You want to import the data from this XML and save the map.
You can very well achieve this provided your repository has all the required fields to be mapped.
In the import manager connect to the customized XML.
Map the fields in the repository with the destination XML structure fields.Save the map.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks,

    Jacek Laskowski
    http://www.jaceklaskowski.pl

    Hi Jacek,
The attribute you should set is unitName(), not name(). name() defines the location of the
@PersistenceContext dependency within the component environment (java:comp/env). It
is independent of the dependency type and appears on all Java EE environment annotations :
    @EJB, @Resource, etc.
unitName() specifies the name of the associated persistence unit. If there is only one defined it's
not needed. However, in your case there are two so since it's not specified there isn't enough
information to resolve the correct one.

    Hi Mahesh,
I understand, you are using extended Receiver Determination using Operational Mapping (which has Java Mapping). And, there is an error message u201CError while determining root tag of XMLu201D, when you are doing configuration test.
Can you please test, the Operational Mapping (which has Java Mapping) separately in ESR, with payload which is coming now. It should produce a XML something like this [Link1|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/ce53aea0d7154ee10000000a421937/frameset.htm]

If it is not (I Think it will not), then there is some problem in Java Mapping coding. Please correct it. Last option, if your Java code is small in length; you may paste it here, so that we can have a look at the cause of issue.

  • [CS2][AS] Make XML import map is calling a refresh on styles?

If this can be of use to someone else... it's probably not CS2,AS specific.. but this is what i use.
It's the second time i have a bug like this, where changing the order of my calls is fixing the problem. With this one, i was getting random missing font error (times(1)) while batching documents(wich make the batch script batch crash as there is a modal dialog open). Not always on the same document, it was really fustrating as i was not able to get my finger on the problem!
I actually knew the source of the problem as i had added a fix (maybe not the best solution, but it was working well) that actually was removing the style from all the text frame (i noticed that using map style to tag was not always working well(when text frame had overriden?), so that's why i added code to reset the style before doing a map. But i was not understanding why it was happening so randomly...
I tought at first it was happening during save (as it reopen the document) but after a few experimentation it looked like it was occuring during the import map redefinition (See code below: make XML import map with properties {markup tag:tStyle, mapped style:tStyle}).
Looks like the make XML import is calling some sort of document refresh wich then pop the font missing dialog (even with never interact as script preferences!)! (missing font is actually a bug i had also in other circumstances.. exemple when you have a extra return at the end of a tagged text (outside the tag)). A bit unexpected, i really tought that creating a xml import map was just creating data structure in document model to be used later on by the auto style call...
    The problematic script:
    tell application "Adobe InDesign CS2"
    set myDocument to document 1
    tell myDocument
    --Reset styles.
set applied character style of every text of every text frame of every spread to character style 1
set applied paragraph style of every text of every text frame of every spread to paragraph style 1
--Create a tag to style mapping.
set tList to name of every XML tag
set tNumItems to count of tList
repeat with i from 1 to tNumItems
set tStyle to item i of tList
    make XML import map with properties {markup tag:tStyle, mapped style:tStyle}
    end repeat
--Map the XML tags to the defined styles.
    auto style
    end tell
    end tell
And the working solution (just moved the reset of style after the import map creation loop):
    tell application "Adobe InDesign CS2"
    set myDocument to document 1
    tell myDocument
--Create a tag to style mapping.
set tList to name of every XML tag
set tNumItems to count of tList
repeat with i from 1 to tNumItems
set tStyle to item i of tList
    make XML import map with properties {markup tag:tStyle, mapped style:tStyle}
    end repeat
    --Reset styles.
set applied character style of every text of every text frame of every spread to character style 1
set applied paragraph style of every text of every text frame of every spread to paragraph style 1
--Map the XML tags to the defined styles.
    auto style
    end tell
    end tell

it doesnt print any server control message. in my "page_404.jsp" I am printing current date and time (to check if the server visited that page) everytime when i refresh "index.jsp" the server goes to "page_404.jsp" and prints the current date and time.
so basically the only message which the console shows is the current date/time which i am printing in the "page_404.jsp"
    Thanks.

  • Users mapping between EP and ABAP system

    Hello
I'd like to ask for some guidance in my quest
    Current situation looks like this:
I've configured UME in AS Java to work with LDAP as read only data source. Then I've configured SPNego to run SSO - It works, users from MS AD can log into portal.
Now I have application in WD which authorizes via EP/AD - works fine.
And next step is users mapping between AD and ABAP backend (serving some BAPI's for WD app)
I've found a bunch of help pages starting from
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce711/helpdata/en/0b/d82c4142aef623e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
But somehow it's quite complicated to achieve this mapping. I've tried to set RFC destinations logon type to user mapping but without succes.
Can anyone point me to some more clear example or give path to configure this scenario? Is there a way of configuring this with NWA or some XML file editing is required?
    Any help will be appreciated.
BTW: whole environment is in version 7.11
    Best regards
    Maciej

There is no equivalent to SPNEGO on the ABAP side.
If your goal is to propagate the user, then possible options are:
-> Wait for SAML 2.0 or invest now in a SAML 1.0 provider.
-> Use the same kerberos ticket for the EP as what your ABAP system will accept: route = SNC and 3rd party libraries.
-> Issue SAP logon tickets for the ABAP system from the EP, and use these in your WDA.
Another option is to expose the service with saved logon data in the ICF. If the service is just a wrapper for the BAPI, then you can also consider using trusted RFC between the service and the backend, but this might not be acceptable for your service.
I have only done experimental stuff with this and some of the above is not released yet. Also consider the consequences, even if it "does work"...
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • XML Data Mapping Disappear when Reopening xlf - Xcelsius

    Hi,,,
I have created one xcelsius with XML Data maps which works fine. But when I re-open this XLF, the XML data mapping disappear from XML source screen of Excel. It's so much enoying, so every time when i re-open the xlf. I have to map xml data again and then do some formating. after that it works fine.
I guess i have missed some setting. Does anyone has faced such a weired problem with xcelsius.
your quick help in this will be really appreciated.

  • Large XML files, how to split and read them in PI

    Hi,
For a specific requirement, we have a 60 MB-90 MB XML file being generated by a legacy application.
This file has to be processed by PI 7.31 Sender File Adapter and should be posted as a ABAP proxy to SAP ECC system.
To address any performance issues, we are planning to read the files in chunks.
Is there a way by which we can configure the file adapter to pick a fixed no.of records to limit the size.
In inputs in this regard will be appreciated.
    regards,
    Younus

    Hi Younus,
First of all if you are using PI 7.31, then you should be quite able to process XML file of about 100MB scale. Performance issue shall occur in ECC side instead as it can not handle such high volume.
My suggestion will be to pick the whole XML file at one go and do necessary mapping. However on receiver side use SOAP Adapter instead of XI for making proxy calls to ECC.
In SOAP adapter (using HTTP as Transport and XI 3.0 as Message protocol) there's an option as 'XI Packaging' which can be used to send data in packets.
Refer below help doc on it.

  • XML Schema mapping error when generating web service

I have created a method in java that returns an array of an object type (a user defined class). When tried to generate a web service JDeveloper did not allow me to select the method, giving the following "Why not.." explanation: "One or more parameters did not have an XML Schema mapping and/or serializer specified".
Can anyone help me in this?
    Thanks

It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.
Perre wrote:And if I try to play the m3u file created (the one with every song listed) through freevo I get a message that the directory is empty. What am I doing wrong??
Look at save_absolute_paths_in_playlists in your mpd.conf.
