Singtel Iphone4s no facetime icon

Help! I just bought a ip4S from singtel yesterday and i just found out that there is no Facetime icon on the screen. Facetime is available in the settings page but even at=fter activating Facetime account still no icon.

What icon?
To use facetime, tap cntacts, find the contact you want to call, then scroll down to the facetime button.

THer iPhone connected to Vodafone adn apparently Face Time is activated (the Phone even displays a message about the possible cost of the SMS activation by Vodafone). But still no FaceTime Icon.
Then I decided to install FaceDial again and ... IT WORKS.
It connects on WiFi even with Phone Off...
I would like to know wich is the part played by the Telephone company in all this if the connection is over WiFi and in my case not the same telefone company of iPhone contract..

There is no FaceTime icon on an iPhone. You access FaceTime through Contacts.

I just purchased my first iPhone last week (the 6, 16gb) and I transferred all of my contacts over through my gmail. Previously I had a regular old Android prepaid phone. Anyway, all of my contacts that I had backed up transferred over through the settings, and all of my contacts that I know have an iphone have the 'FaceTime' icon under their contact info, except for one. He is an iphone and I simply am unable to figure out the problem!
I have gone under the settings, then to Facetime, to make sure Facetime was on. I also had him do the same thing.
When I make a regular phone call to him the Facetime button is illuminated, but when clicked, it says that 'Dad' is not available for FaceTime.
BUT until today when a regular phone call was made, the Facetime button wasn't illuminated at all. Any ideas?

Depending upon the country in which you live, FaceTime may be unavailable. It is not available in the UAE. If it is restricted in your country, the app will not appear on your iPad. You cannot install the preinsatlled iPad apps nor can you delete them.
