Imitation is the best form of flattery. But that is just the key combination used for a screenshot.
Samsung will never run iOS and must keep up with Android OS versions (and all of it real or imagined security holes, which I cannot comment on fully).

If the Office updates have to be run through Win in Parallels, there's not really a section here that covers that , because Neither Office or Parallels are Apple products. There is only a small chance that you'll find someone with BOTH your conditions who just happend to look into a forum on older iMacs.

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

I'm sorry your pictures appear different in your gallery sillyymom. I know its frustrating with viewing important images. Are you using a 3rd party picture application? do you have any apps that may be conflicting with your pictures. Have you tried to review your picture settings?

For the past few weeks when I place a bid on ebay, Firefox crashes. The bid goes through but I have to restart Firefox each time. I have sent a report each time and asked to be notified and as of yet I have not got a solution to this problem.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

ITunes 11 should not have been released with this extreme a bug.

When I plug in my iPad, and try to add content from the TV Shows section, you cannot scroll past the fist 10 shows. It just sticks. When you use the arrow keys, it goes off the page, so you can't see which show you are on, and even though the episode list shows on the right for which ever show you are on (thought you cant see it),but then the title is off the screen.
This is HUGE and way beyond something Apple should have caught. I am a huge apple fan, but totally disgusted at the moment. Are other people experiencing this issue?

ALL - I tried what you are suggesting, and it "technically" works, but you still end up bouncing back and forth from the left side of the page (where the TV series are) to the right side of the page (where the episodes are). It is completely annoying...
Apple, if you are listening, you should be able to scroll WITHIN THE BOX on the left, and then see the episodes on the right.
I appreciate the suggestions, at least it is a work around, but not at all what one would expect from a new release.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

No correct, you do not need iOS for FaceTime. You only needed to update to iOS 6.1.6.

Most users should use the Time Capsule for backups. This assumes that "original" copies of your data are on the computer and backups of this data are stored on the Time Capsule.
If either the Time Capsule or the hard drive on your computer fails, there are at least copies of your important data on the other drive.
If you are asking if you can place "original" files on the Time Capsule, do you have a plan to backup those files?
If the Time Capsule drive has a problem....and your only copy of your important data is on the Time Capsule....you will lose everything.
If you are asking if this is OK, the answer for most folks would be "no".

You do not have to partition your drive - Parallels creates a disk image which contains your Windows installation. You do have to exercise anti-virus measures in the Windows partition, although such malware cannot affect the Mac filesystem.
