And regardless of it being spam or not those FAQ's are garbage. All I had to see was
What is passed by reference ?
Objects are passed by reference.to know that they are garbage. Don't use them. Find ones written by someone who knows what they are talking about.

  • Sites for java programming?

Is there a site that will allow you to program code, on the site, then compile that code, on the site, and see the results? kinda of sucks not being able to code at work when you really want to. especially when you don't have a laptop.

I had that same idea, and was thinking about making an applet, when I realised the security restrictions would cut me down at the knees. So I gave up on that. I suppose if it is purely text-based, it might be possible, but I've not seen one. Good luck in your search.

I would only mention that your definition is incomplete for this -
Contextual selector A type of Style Sheet Selector that
and that it's most often referred to now as a Descendent selector, not a contextual selector.  It's basically the same as the Compound selector that you have already defined....

  • Apple download for JAVA still won't download JAVA web site material.

Since downloading Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.3 (12D78) I cannot get anything to download that requires Java like "Wolfgang's Music Vault". I know Apple doesn't support JAVA anymore with Mountain Lion but as recommended I have downloaded the so called Apple for Java 7 update 25 download about 50 times to enable it to do so.  The download still don't happen for Java.  JAVA never shows up as an application, though it shows it did download. HELP

There are a few things you might want to check.
First of all, did you go to your downloads folder and double click on the installer to install the update?  You mentioned that you downloaded it but never stated whether you installed it.
You may also want to check your Safari browser to make sure Java is enabled (Safari>Preferences>Security).
If you need Java 6, you may want to try this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5559
    I hope that helps!

Hi, I am looking for a good tutorial for java. I cant understand my teacher's lectures, because they are always presented as a slide show and she just reads the slides in a monotone voice. (Not to mention her thick asian accent). So any one?

  • Hi i wrote a java program for scanning a system for java.exe 's

    hi ,
i wrote a program which scans the system for java.exe 's and then it captures them in a linked list and then i
iterate through it for "\\Java\\jdk1.5.0_08\\bin\\java.exe and my aim is to return true in case the linked list contains the string "\\Java\\jdk1.5.0_08\\bin\\java.exe" and stop scanning the system.
If the linked list does not contain "Java\\jdk1.5.0_08\\bin\\java.exe" it should return false.

  • New Features for Java GUI

    Hello everyone!
Can anybody tell about new features in SAP GUI for Java. I think It's emasculate now. It doesn't contain New ABAP editor, Network graphic, normal Screen Painter... I really enjoy adding themes and other stuff, but when these functionality will be added?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I use Java GUI from version 6.40, so i didn't know new ABAP editor for years. Once somebody shows me its features ...and I found that it is really good editor compared with previous Notepad-like frontend editor. But I have to say that customized version od Gvim used as external editor is in 90% better then new ABAP editor (the only problem is that double click on object doesn't work, but some workarounds are known for double-click on locally defined objects).
Graphical screen painter is generally good tool, but once I cannot find any feature (sorry, I forgot which one, it happens about 6 years ago). I ask a SAP guru sitting near me. He comes, switch graphical screen painter off and click to a box in non-graphical version of screen painter. Then he told me that some features are not accessible in graphical screen painter. It was last time I used graphical version of screen painter.
Themes? Works .... at least for me (Linux 32 bit and now Linux 64 bit too).
So I think that Java GUI is usable (at least on Linux/Mac, I am not sure how in works under Windows) but you cannot stick on all features (and maybe you can find better working variants of it). E. g. I have no problem with new ABAP editor, it would be much better for me, if I can open external editor clicking to "Change" button in SE38 directly instead of click plus selecting external editor from menu.

  • Best practice for java script placement on a BC page?

Hi guys just a general ask about where the best place for java script is on a BC page.
I just watched the this very good video on optimization http://bcgurus.com/tutorials/how-to-do-website-performance-optimization and in it it says how you should try and load the scripts at the bottom of the page so that it loads quicker.
now I want to do this but with it being a BC site i dont know if certain scripts have to be in the head of the doc. For instance the validate script I have? Does anyone know what I can and cant move from the head?
I was going to do what kiyuco like to practice and add all my scripts to a content holder and then add that to my pages/templates. Will BC like me adding this to the bottom of the page and not the head?
    Thanks

  • ABAP RFC Validations in WebDynpro for Java

    Hi All,
Any idea how I can handle ABAP validations in WebDynrpo for Java. For example, there is a standard BAPI for (MM01), howare the validations and ECC Configurations (as in plant data etc) shown in WDJ. Do they also come as some drop-down or search help etc?
    Thanks,
    Vamshi

    Dear Vamshi,
In broad terms this is what you will need
    1) you need to configure JCOs (that is if they are not configured already)
    2) you need to implement the necessary MODELS for your WD for JAVA. These models will then be used to retrieve data to and from your RFC.
There's plenty information on SDN on how to implement a MODEL in WD for JAVA.
Here's a nice one to begin with:

The 'e_mail_valid' is undefined" has to do with the format of or lack of the email address. The routing problem is ours and should be fixed later today or by tomorrow morning.
