Slideshow on photopage not working
I've noticed today that the show slideshow button (and the other two at the top - Index and Subscribe - have stopped working.
Looking in Safari activity I see that http://a772.g.akamai.net/global/nav/styles/nav.css is a bad request.
Anyone else getting this? Has a server gone down or file moved?
Adam

Flash xml slideshow in iWeb not working
Hallo
I am really struggling to get a Flash xml slideshow to work. I have used Flash Slideshow Maker app, which creates a slide.xml, .swf and .html file and everything is published in one folder "slideshow" on a local disk.
I am using the following code and it works perfectly when viewed in iWeb:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0, 40,0"
WIDTH="920" HEIGHT="400" id="Phambili">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="/Users/elsjevanzyl/Documents/Websites/Published Websites/Phambili/Slideshow/Phambili.swf?xml_path=slides.xml">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<PARAM NAME="wmode" value="transparent">
<PARAM NAME=base VALUE=".">
<EMBED src="/Users/elsjevanzyl/Documents/Websites/Published Websites/Phambili/Slideshow/Phambili.swf?xml_path=slides.xml" quality=high wmode="transparent" WIDTH="920" HEIGHT="400"
NAME="Phambili" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" base=".">
</EMBED>
</OBJECT>
But as soon as I publish it to FTP with following code, it displays the slideshow but NOT the photos or thumbs:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0, 40,0"
WIDTH="920" HEIGHT="400" id="Phambili">
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="http://harmonieproteas.co.za/Slideshow/Phambili.swf?xml_path=slides.xml">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<PARAM NAME="wmode" value="transparent">
<PARAM NAME=base VALUE=".">
<EMBED src="http://harmonieproteas.co.za/Slideshow/Phambili.swf?xml_path=slides.xml" quality=high wmode="transparent" WIDTH="920" HEIGHT="400"
NAME="Phambili" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" base=".">
</EMBED>
</OBJECT>
I have also tried iFrame code, but this is not working at all.
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong when publishing the above code to FTP?
Any help will be appreciated.Flash isn't my thing but, it appears that you are missing the images:

Slideshow & audio suddenly not working on one page
I discovered that one of my audio files mysteriously disappeared from one of my pages..I tried re-publishing, re-doing the file, and finally deleted the page and created a new one. The slideshow and audio file are just not there. The audio file is right there in iWeb, but will not publish. Also, clicking on the photos to enlarge them is not working.
Any ideas? I have plenty of disk space. I'm stumped. All other pages are in working order. What am I missing here?
http://web.mac.com/dzari/iWeb/Braam/Fitzgerald%27s%204-1-06.htmlThat's what's so confounding. This page has been up and running (with apostrophe) for months, no problem. I just happened to notice yesterday that the audio and slideshow were gone.
The only thing that has changed is a Security Update that I installed on 9/21.
Maybe there is some kind of conflict.
I will try re-publishing this page without the apostrophe.
Thanks for your quick response to this, varkgirl. -
Slideshow problem - buttons not working
Here's the site in development:
http://magnavino01.businesscatalyst.com/index.html
Just below the header there's a slideshow with nav buttons on the bottom. They are not working. They're apparently not working because of a div, within the slideshow div. This was copied from firebug:
<div id="slideshowu765" class="SlideShowWidget clearfix grpelem wp-slideshow-playing">
<div id="u450" class="browser_width grpelem" style="width: 1722px; margin-left: -281px; left: 0px; margin-right: -2003px; padding-right: 0px;"></div>
</div>
Deleting the above div (bold and in red) in firebug does not seem to affect the function of the site, other than allowing the buttons to work, that is.
Is there a fix or workaround for this problem (bug?)?
Thanks for any help.I haven't seen the .muse file, but from the website it appears you have an empty 100% browser width box (or perhaps a text frame) that's on top of this area in Muse Design view. It's blocking the buttons from getting mouse events. Delete that and all should be fine. (You should be able to find it with Select All. Be sure to turn on and unlock all Layers and Object > Unlock All On Page, and check both the page and the applied master pages.)

Help! Slideshow Autoplay does not work on ipad content viewer.
I created a dps app using Adobe Creative Cloud on a PC running Windows 8. It has a multi-state object of text to fade in and out. It works properly on a windows tablet but not on my ipad. I'm aware this question has been asked before and I tried all of the suggested fixes and none have worked for me. Are there anymore bug fixes.
Darn, I was hoping you could read my mind, lol. The problem is I created an article in DPS that has 4 multi-state objects on one page. 3 of the multi-state objects (button-like icons that change color when you tap/swipe them) are set to tap to play, the 4th multi-state object, a slideshow with 7 states each containing text that's supposed fade in and out 1 by 1 on a loop, is set to Autoplay upon article opening. This all works great on the desktop preview and once its downloaded to Adobe Content Viewer on my Windows Tablet. However, when I download it to the Adobe Content View on my iPad and try to run the same app the 3 tap to play icon buttons work fine but the multi-state text Slideshow will not autoplay. It will only show the first state (which is a text box). I'm using Adobe Creative Cloud Indesign to create the article on a pc running Windows 8. I recently ran updates on my adobe software. Any insight???

Slideshow navigation buttons not working.
Having had the slideshow navigation buttons that exist below my photos (back, pause, forward) working fine for some reason they are now coming up as question marks in Safari and error boxes in Firefox and Explorer. I have not made any changes to my site but have republished since discovering the problem but it still remains.
I have looked for the cause in iWeb but have no idea what will remedy this.
Any help much appreciated.Caused by the recent update from .Mac to MobileMe and out of our hands for fixes.
The trouble is caused by some of the links create by iWeb that point to files found on Apple servers (not your iDisk). They are usually created inside the javascript files (.js) and use incorrect URL's that previously worked when linked at .Mac but now fail at MobileMe.
Since it is a javascript file a Web browser status bar (bottom of the window) shows a javascript:void URL but a click on the link in our iWeb (and Homepage) pages is not finding the correct Apple server files (they are not part of your iDisk and are hosted on Apple servers).
Odd thing is that some of these URL's do work and others fail. Some do not show the mouse over change (to the pointed finger icon) but clicking in the space where they should appear triggers the javascript.
Someone at Apple will be working late into the night to "fix" what they broke. -
Spry Slideshow with Filmstrip not working in IE Browsers
I'm working on a brand new website design and am trying to incorporate the Spry Slideshow with Filmstrip on a lot of the pages. It works and loads great on every browser except IE versions. On IE it will show it correctly for a second and then changes it to show one picture above the other. Can someone please help me figure out what to do to make it work for IE?
Here's a link to one of the test pages.

Spry Image Slideshow with Filmstrip Not Working in IE and Spacing Issues with Text on Page
Hello,
Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong. The slideshow works in Firefox and Safari. However, it doesn't work in IE.
Also, can someone help me figure out how to make it so that the text on the page wraps around the slideshow instead of hiding under it?

IPhoto Book Slideshow Music Settings Not Working
When I try to view a Photo book as a slideshow, a default guitar music track plays. When I uncheck "Play music" the music still plays. When I try to change the music, the default guitar track still plays. It seems the music settings are not holding or being recognized. Curiously, I do not have these issues when viewing an standard photo "album" or other group of images in iPhoto, only when viewing my Photo books. Is this a bug?
Is any of the music purchased from the iTunes Store?

Slideshow does not work in Peview
When I open Preview to see a folder with lots of pictures in it, and click on PREVIEW, SLIDESHOW, it does not work.
I can put one photo in the Preview Window's side tray. But I cannot put two in. I do not know how to go from one picture to another. I went through all the items on the menu bar and could not find anything apply.
Any help would be appreciated. All this was so simple in Windows Media Player. Is it possible toget WMP for Mac? -
SlideShow transition IE finally working except
Well I finally got it to work with 2 small problems.
Hopefully someone has come across this and knows if there is a solution.
Problems:
1) not everything is staying centered on the index page when changing the window width in IE browser and emulating ie7. It works in Safari and FireFox and my other pages in IE browser NOT emulating IE7.
2) the shadow boxes are not working on the index page... again in IE browser and emulating ie7.
www.bigbroncocc.com
The SlideShow transition fix:
I added the following meta tag to my index page:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
The (Slideshow basic) did not work and I had to use the (SlideShow with filmstrip) as stated by (W Bell)... link provided by Gramps below.
I could not install the slideshow with filmstrip directly into my page from the widget browser in dreamweaver... From the widget browser I saved the (SlideShow with filmstrip) files to my hard drive and copied spry folders and html code into my page.
======================================================
Have a look here http://forums.adobe.com/message/3480458#3480458
GrampsThat's correct I could not get the basic to work and had to use filmstrip... and strip out every thing that I did not need... the slideshow with filmstrip did not work when I used the (insert widget) in dreamweaver. as mentioned above. I am new and self taught myself, hope this helps.
I also found it very helpful to use a code checker, links below
http://http://validator.w3.org/
http://http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/
I ran across the issue of the (panandzoom going off the image and it showing black) I believe it has to do with your css code most likely width and height. below is the only css code I am using that relates the the slideshow.
myMain.css file:
#home .container .content #ImageSlideShow {
width: 684px;
margin: 0px auto;
border: solid 2px #000;
padding-top: 10px;
overflow:hidden;
z-index: 1;
position: relative;
Basic_fs.css file:
.BasicSlideShowFS {
width: auto;
border: solid 0px #000;
background-color: #000;
position: relative;
margin-top: 24px;
padding-top: 10px; /* This should be the margin-top of .ISSClip but it is here to work around an IE6/IE7 collapsed margin bug. */
.BasicSlideShowFS .ISSClip {
clear: both;
width: auto;
height: 432px;
margin: 0 10px 10px 10px; /* margin-top is specified as padding on .BasicSlideShowFS to avoid an IE6/IE7 collapsed margin bug. */
overflow: hidden;
position: relative;
/*border: solid 1px #AAA;
background-color: #000;*/
.BasicSlideShowFS .ISSView {
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
.BasicSlideShowFS .ISSSlide {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;

Adobe Muse slideshow widget not working on Ipad
The Muse slideshow widget i'm using is working fine in desktop version (on my Imac and Macbook Pro Retina), but the targets (buttons) are not working when i open the website in my Safari Ipad. When i open in Ipad Chrome, it's working fine.
The address is http://www.safra7.com/clientes/pontual/linha_tempo
I can't figure what's wrong, after trying various solutions.
Thanks,
Felipe de Mello.To answer your first question, a widget is essentially a app extension. Try the stock market app below, once you download it you'll be able to add a stock market widget to Notification Center. If the link below doesn't work go to the App Store and enter Stocks Widget by Peeksoft in the search field.

iPad Air 2 with celluar with ios8.1.2 will not airplay with apple tv slideshows with music. I see the slides on the TV but do not hear the music. This works on the iphone 5s with iOS 8.1.2 and with my other iPad which is on iOS7.
This problem was reported on Nov 21, 2014 and other people had reported it prior to me.
When will this be fixed by Apple - it worked in the past and does not work now.
Should i return my iPad Air 2 and get my money back?Problem seems to be resolved. Should have thought of it myself ;-) thanks so far!

Text in Spry Slideshow, not working in Explorer.
Hi,
I have attempted to search for a similar topic, but am not able to find anything.
I have input the spry slideshow into my page, and it is fully functional for safari, chrome, firefox, but seems like it is only not working in IE.
The text that is supposed to be showing up to the right of the images is not showing with IE.
I had read a couple things on opacity, or such but am not sure if it applies to the text as well.

This is the first time I have posted on this forum and am not sure if I need to be including anything else.
Thanks
i4homedesign.Here is the code for the Spry Slideshow if it helps...
