Hi Seniors,
Pls. let me know is there any way to monitor the Z-table changes(updation , insertion , deletion ) which is happening through the SM30 by user.Any user exit or steps for monitiring???
Any inputs on this will be highly appreciated..

F4-Help without using a table search help

We´re using CRM 2007 and I have created several F4-Helps for different fields on the webui.
There it was always necessary to use an existing table search help in the GET_V-method:

you already pasted the correct call for creating a value help. Now what you have to alter is the variable lv_help_id to reflect a F4-Valuehelp class.

I feel like a complete noob.Hi Marc,
There is no function explicitly for that sort of array calculation in Numbers.
My favorite way is to use a list of Table Names and the INDIRECT(ADDRESS) function combination to produce a SUM across tables. I'm making the assumption that you want to do something like adding up all the values in a particular cell of multiple tables. For example "give me the total of all the A1 cells in tables T1, T2, T3 and T4". For this I would use the formula:
=INDIRECT(ADDRESS(1,1,1,,A))
to grab the cell contents of the table names mentioned in column A of a summary table. Once you have them collected in your summary table, add them up.

In SLIS_T_FIELDCAT_ALV you specify the field as edit = X.
Give it as mentioned, where you assign fieldname and positions etc.

I ahve two exceptions tables cust_day_of_week and cust_date
Cust_day_of the week has following fields:
Key_Id,Day_week,begintime,endtime
1,1,8,20 1--is oracle number for sunday
cust_date has following fields
Key_Id, exception_date,begintime,endtime

i am writing a function to get the key_id to use for some purpose by checking if the sysdate falls in any of the exception
say sysdate is sunday then profile ID =1 shud be returned
if date exception is to be checked then the Cust_day table shud be checked...
is there a way to get the profileid from both tables in one function by chekcing which exception is fullfilled....Hope i am clear...
say i wnat to check if the sysdate day is sunday or not..if yes then return profileid =1
else if i want check if tuday =08/24/2011 the retrun profile id =2 but this shud be done in one function if possible...is it possible...

As documentation doesn't say it's guaranteed, it probably isn't.

i need to create a table which has an attribute year_joined and need to set a constraint that the year_joined should be less than or equal to the current year (year obtained from sysdate (YYYY)) ..
can any one help me with the create statement required...

Spry menu bar changed since I tried to split cells in a table! Help!
I am VERY new to web design, so I apologize in advance for being ignorant. I am trying to learn!
I had inserted a spry menu bar that looked fine and even tested fine!
I subsequently tried to split a section of my table in the web page in order to have 3 columns of centered text. The first time I did this, the spry menu bar became vertical even though it is listed as horizontal. I looked up a forum answer, copied the code from the suggestion, and that seemed to fix the problem (although I still don't know what EXACTLY happened)
I tried to split the table again (I had undone everything prior to this), only this time, the spry menu bar is located outside the page in the left hand corner where my background (I have a wrapper) is. I tried opening another page where I already had a nice spry menu bar, and it did the same thing!! This makes me think it is the CSS sheet for the menu bar that was modified somehow when I split the table. I'm pasting the CSS here below, so if anyone sees any issues that might cause this problem, please let me know!! I have been working for the most part in design view, and haven't really modified the code other than to put a wrapper in and a facebook like button, which I've now lost in the slitting cells catastrophe. You can see that the spry menu bar shows up in the top left corner in my design view, but on the website, it is located in the correct place! Maybe it is a Dreamweaver problem??? This happened when I tried to split the cell underneath the section that says "Let NOLA Scribes help you!" into 5 cells so that I could insert 5 differnet pictures and captions. Now, when I open the other linked pages in Dreamweaver, it does the same thing! I'm using an older version of Dreamweaver, but from what I read, that shouldn't be an issue. Now requirement is I need to update Table T30's col3 (which do have values in T20 but not this table) in such a way that , It should take MIN (COL3) from T20 and then update that value to related Col3)

How to insert a new Row in table - Need help

This is my situation: My page1 has a table (table1) and when I select one line from table1 and press a button, I go to page 2.
I have an action in the Struts-Config.xml file, so I can pass some parameters to page2, like this:

Performance issue related to BSIS table:pls help
Theres a select statement which fetches data from BSIS table.
As in the where clause the only key field used is BUKRS its consuming more time.Below is the code.
Could you please tell me how to improvise this piece of code.
I tried to fecth first from BKPF table based on the selection screen paramater t001-bukrs and then for all entries in BKPF fetched from BSIS.But it didnt worked.

Need assistance searching records from multiple tables - Please Help!
Hi, I've been trying to solve this problem for several weeks now, and I have exhausted all of my knowledge and experience. I need help, and I hope someone here can give me some direction.
I am using VB 2008, and the CR that comes bundled with VS 2008 Pro. My database is a SQL Server 2005 CE v3.5 (a *.sdf file). I am connecting to the database through a dataset, and I am displaying the report in a CrystalReportViewer.
My dataset consistes of two tables:
1) tblCustomers which has a primary key "CustID", and contains only customer contact and personal information.
2) tblDateVisited which has a primary key of "VisitID", but it also has a column titled "CustID". Basically, every time a customer visits the business, details of that visit are recorded in tblDateVisited, and that record is associated with the customer by their CustID.
Here's what I'm trying to accomplish: I want to be able to display only Customer records when the customer has visited and that visit matches certain criteria. Right now, I am trying to match visits from the "tblVisitDate.PlayerType" column. If the customer has ever had a visit where they matched a particular player type, I want to see those customer records.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, though. I can search a dataset if I am only querying one table and pulling records from that table. However, whenever I try to add a second table and perform queries on that table to get records from the first table, I can't return any records.
If it helps, I am trying to use one CrystalReportViewer to display multiple reports (user choice) and here's how I'm loading the report into the viewer:

When I examine the link, I can only choose an Inner Join or a Left Outer Join. Right Outer and Full Outer are not available. Could this be a problem with the dataset I'm using?

when i try the READ DATASET of my file into the table it gives me the error message
L_XML_TABLE cannot be a table,a reference, a string or contain any of this objects.
is there a solution , it's important.

Change documents for customer Z table - serious help wanted
Hi all,
I am no beginner and I don't expect any comments from beginners.
Situation: My customer wants to replace the material valuation transactions MRN1 MRN2 MRN3 due to bad performance and locking problems with own developed programs.
The valuation results will be stored in a customer Z-Table on a monthly base. For auditing and transparency purposes, this Z-table has to get a change object and the update routines will have to write change documents.
Due to the expected size of the new Z-table, it is not advisable to simply switsch on table logging.
In this huge project (and in none I participated!) nobody ever implemented the change document process for a Z-table. <b>BUT EVERYBODY CAN TELL YOU THI IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL.</b>
I read some documentation at SAP and serached for threads or blogs here. I could not find anything desribing that in depth.
So before I start, I'd be happy to get some hints from people who created own change documents and implemented the process. Links to documentation and other helpful pages are also welcome.
If I can keep the process simple, I'd like to create a BLOG on this - because I think, in the future it will get more and more difficult to pass the auditing process with undocumented features and uncontrolled table changes.

Once you create your change document object using generate update pgm option then please check the WRITE document fm.
