Hello,
Is it possible to convert a smartform to pdf without a spool id ? I need to generate a pdf file from a smartform without print it.

If you want to send some text as Body of the Mail then follow this once
when u r callin the FM'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'.. points to remember
1.u have to pass the body of content in table CONTENTS_TXT(ia m using I_OBJBIN) (each line a record) then. suppose i have appended 11 records to the table CONTENTS_TXT .
2.PACKING_LIST(iam usign I_OBJPACK) table u ahve to append a redord as follows

Hi All,
We have used the FM 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' to convert the list output to PDF. It creates the spool number in SP01 and PDF is getting generated.
But, in our SAP ECC 6.0 server all spools are redirected to printer by default and get printed because it configured like that. We requested BASIS people to reconfigure but they said no for a single report.
So we need to find the alternate solution to generate the PDF without spool. We have searched in sdn, but didnot get any alternate solution.
Please help us in this regard.

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I need to convert internal table data into PDF format and send it as an E-Mail with PDF attachment.
How do I achieve this .
I dont have any smart form or SCript...
In Fact I don't want to use SPOOL....
Is there any way to convert Internal Table to PDF.....
Please Guide....

CONVERTING SMARTFORM INTO PDF AND PRINTING DIRECTLY
Hai guys,
I got a problem.
First the Smartform I created doesnt show all TABLE LINES(the rows coloumns)...
so I have converted the SMART FORM to ADOBE FORM PROGRAMITICALY ...
now in order to PRINT ..
one has to first SAVE the FORM(adobe form) onto desktop(or whereever) and give it to PRINT...
unfortunately my CLIENT doeasnt like the EXTRA STEP..
so i best i can SAVE the file to a hardcoded location and
OPEN it ..
But then CAN I
a)PRINT DIRECTLY without SAVING??
b)ISSUE PRINT PROGRAMITICALY
c)I learnt that a SMARTFORM can be GENERATED INTO PDF only at RUNNTIME(from SMARTFORMS>UTILITIES etc)..i briefly tried that..can I use that to GET THE PDF to PRINT when one gives PRINT from SPOOL REQUEST(sp01)

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement to convert smartforms to pdf. I know how to convert and save as a local file.
But, If I want to open that pdf from ABAP program, is there any OLE or any function module to open pdf.
Can I open the pdf file without saving to presentation server, like in internet pdf files will be opened in internet explorer and if we want we will save it as local file. Like that Can I explore the pdf file directly without saving to presentation server, and if I want, I should save from Acrobat reader. Is there any function module for that?

I need help of somebody expert in SMARTFORM's.
I need to convert a smartform into PDF format and to send as attachement for SAP workplace
of the user.
I developed the next code.
IT is to function and to send the mail for SAP workplace, but it happens that smartform
contains images (logos) and tables, when the user tries to open the file pdf in inbox gives
to error - "An unrecognized token ' q0 ' was found".
I tried to call a smartform only with text and functioned well.
Somebody can help me?

Hello,
I want to display smartform as pdf in a custom contianer . I was able to find all the right code from sdn.
but my problem is that when executed my sap gui is closed without any error.
I am unable to understand what is going wrong.

Hi All,
I created a smartform and got the PDF output of the same
using the function module FOPC_REPORT_SHOW_PDF.
I created a smartstyle using Arial Font (REgular, Size 12)
and I have used this smartstyle in the smartform.
When I displayed the smartform in OTF format I am able to see the exact font maintained in the smartstyle. But when the smartform is converted to PDF; the PDF o/p always displays the default font which is Courier/12.
Can anyone help me in resolving the issue.

I got the device type (PDF1) using the function module SSF_GET_DEVICE_TYPE and used the device type in the smartform display. When checked in Se73 this device type supports the Arial Font; but this font in SE73 is marked by a yellow line.

There is a way to download smartform in PDF format.
Please do the following:
1. Print the smartform to the spool.
2. Note the spool number.
3. Download a PDF file (Acrobat Reader) version of the spool by running Program RSTXPDFT4 and entering the
noted spool number.

Canon 5D Mark II footage in FCP
Does anybody edit Canon 5D Mark II footage with FCP? My playback stops at every blade cut or in the end of the clip for a second before resumes the next clip ... pretty annoying. All the other HD camera footage plays just fine. Help! Jarmo
