Smpatch analyze - five days analyzing?

After changing RAM up to 8GB, "smpatch analyze" ran from crontab for the first time that I noticed. Seemed to take lots of CPU cycles (Sun Ultra 20 M2 - x86 running Solaris 10 from MY2006) so I shut off the crontab instance and started one from the command line.
Five days later, it still seems to be analyzing and consuming all resources of one CPU.
Any RTFMs (with FM suggestions) or condolences welcome.

Fourth disconnection from FiOS internet service in five days

I have been with FiOS for at least four years. I had never causing connection problem been very stable and reliable. However, I experienced internet disconnection four times for the last five days while FiOS TV and telephone were still working well. Each time the trouble shooting guide, you know, turning on and off, didn't work so I had to call Verizon. The representatives made me plug the router off and back on, reset it with a paper clip, or even go downstairs to disconnect the ONT from all power sources(wall outlet and backup battery). You know what? They just needed to reset my service on their side, not my side. How can it be disconnected four times in the past five days, while nothing happened for the previous four YEARS??? I tried to give them an idea to trouble shoot but they didn't listen to me carefully and were just following their protocols. This morning, FiOS internet was disconnected and the router's internet LED was solid amber or orange. I had to go to work so I was not able to call Verizon. I will try after work tonight.
One suspicion is VERIZON BLOCKS TORRENT TRANSACTIONS. Does any body knows about this? We know what happened to Comcast due to such blocking. Hope to hear any idea. Thank you.

Time Machine won't back up to drive. Five days backing up so far

A week ago I got a message saying that Time Machine could not back up to my external hard drive but that I could access my old backups. I pointed Time Machine to another hard drive and it has been backing up there for five days so far - all the time stating Time remaining 5 seconds. It is now in a cleanup mode. I have been reading about various bugs concerning Time Machine and wonder if there is a fix I can carry out so that I can use the original external hard drive again.

Stop the backup. Boot in safe mode and log in. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

The content started: Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 From:(my email address) followed by a very,very,very long stream of gobbledygook. There is no record of it in my i-tunes purchases or my credit card statement but that might only be because I have not updated my credit card details. Should I be worried that my account has been compromised? Does anyone know how I can get through to the right section of Apple to deal with this - all the emails I get say no-reply so I don't have an email address to contact them on.
I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this.

It started when tryung to update Twitter. Now the problem is with every app I try to update or download.

I have this issue as well. The App Store icon indicates there are updates available but when I open the app a popup says it can't connect to the store and the screen remains white. I have tried a hard reset (power & home button) and several other suggestions I have found throughout the forums here without success.

I checked the iCloud imap incoming server, and it was changed, I hope by Apple, but it is grayed out, and inaccessible. It says p99-imap.mail.me.com. Did you do this as some type of iCloud adjustment? It is really proving a challenge, because I rely on email constantly during the day.

Stopping issue for next five days

Hello QM Gurus,
My client wants that system should not allow issuing of material from unrestricted stock for next five days after usage decision. Means i have given UD for material, posted to unrestrcted stock on 14/02/2011, now user can not consume it till 19/02/2011. After this date only system should allow for further consumption.

Why not leave the material in QI u till it has aged the correct number of days?
Create special UD code, like "approved for release". APRE. Select this code when everything is good. Make sure there is no stock posting behind it.
Then once a day run QA32. Create a selection profile to only select lots with SPRQ and UD. Add the selection variant "lot last changed date" to the selection screen. Default in the current date minus five days. You should only get a list of those lots with an outstanding stock posting and where the lot hasn't been changed for at least 5 days and that already have UD. You could also add in at the selection field for the UD to select those with APRE.
Select the lots, click on UD and and enter in the UD code A and save. The stock will be moved to unrestricted.
If you didn't want to have users do this, you could probably write a program to do it for them and run it in batch once a day.

my Pixi shows me the missed calls in a list of its own? I don't have many, so maybe I'm missing something. But I agree with your half-ranting to some degree. As a long-time Palm-user (my last phone was a Treo 680, terrible form factor, good UI), I am really disappointed with the standard software on this phone. Memos and Tasks, which AFAIK were there and useful even on the first Newton's, have regressed beyond the point of usefulness now (solution: Toodledo and Done!, at least for now).
But ChrisBell: if you feel up for it, you could start tinkering. Many people love these phones so much they have started developing patches to solve the obvious problems skimmed over by developers. Try looking up "webosquickinstall" and "preware", and you will find over 300 patches and a lot of free software to help you out. I am not a computer wizard myself, but I am not scared of them either, and I have been able to make good use of all these extras made available by the community.

YouTube's "Most Recent" blank for the past five days

If I go to YouTube's "Most Viewed" or "Top Rated" there is literally a blank screen under "Today". I don't mean there's nothing interesting, or nothing I want. I mean not a single, solitary video whatsoever. ("Today" isn't my search term. It's a built-in category of everything from that day.) Put another way, there is not a single YouTube video anywhere posted after July 18. Is anyone else seeing that on their Apple TV or iPhone?
Besides resetting the modem, routers, and Apple TV, I've gone all the way to restoring the Apple TV to its factory condition and reinstalling software version 1.1. I also tried an Ethernet cable directly from the Apple TV to my cable modem and a wireless connection to my neighbor's network. (He has Earthlink and I have Road Runner, but they're both from Time Warner.) Finally I tried using a public DNS server, 4.2.2.1, instead of my ISP's DNS server. I got the same selection of YouTube videos on all cases.
Looking at my router's log, I see that the Apple TV is reaching out to Google servers, e.g., 64.233.169.147 and 216.239.51.176 when I select "Most Viewed". That seems roughly right. I don't know how to sniff out exactly what information the Apple TV is asking from Google's servers.
Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions for further debugging on my part?

Just to be clear, it's not exactly "no problem" for "This Week." If you look carefully at the videos' dates under "This Week" or "Most Recent," you'll see that none were posted in the last few days. For me, it's the last five days. I guess, for you, it will be the last two days.

You have two active CC under the same ID, one was purchased on 12/16/14 , the other was on 01/03/15. Please contact Adobe support to cancel one of them & get the refund of the duplicate billing.
Regarding the CC asking for serial number, you need to sign out or sign in of the Adobe CC to activate it. You can not activate it on more than two computer with the same Adobe ID.
The CC does not needs any serial number, it is based on Adobe ID.

Submitted a podcast five days ago, but haven't heard from iTunes

I submitted a podcast to the iTunes store on Friday (five days ago), but never received an email confirming that it had been received. I pinged it today and found out the feed ID, but still haven't heard from iTunes. Obviously, no luck finding it in the iTunes store.

Usually rather more than five days. The ID number you've found is presumably issued on submission - using it in the standard URL for the Store doesn't work -

It will once the podcast has been accepted, so you can use it to check. The time it takes for acceptance varies - it requires human intervention and obviously depends on the length of the queue you're in: it might take a couple of weeks so I'm afraid it's just a question of waiting.

Can I exchange my five-day-old MBP for the newer model?

Friday before last I ordered a new 13" MacBook Pro, and I received it in the mail last Thursday. I've been using it and I love it. However, today Apple released the new MBP's with slightly better processors and graphics. The one I already have is still in near-perfect condition, as I've only had it for five days. Would I be able to send it back to Apple and exchange it for the newer model? If so, would it cost me anything... and would the increased performance be noticeable enough to be worth the cost and trouble?
Aside from web browsing and other general stuff, I use my MacBook for design programs like Adobe Creative Suite. If I do end up being able to do some kind of exchange, I'll almost certainly go for the 2.4 GHz 13".

APD read data from Web Analyzer or BEx Analyzer?

We are on SAP BI7.0, recently we upgraded to enhancement package1. SInce then, "suppress zeros (all values=0)" setting in the query is not working properly in Web Analyzer while it's working correctly in BEx Analyzer.
We are transfering data from this query to a table in CRM system usin APD. In CRM system, we are getting the output as in web analyzer (it contains zero value records).
My questions are -
1. Do APDs always read values from Web analyzer or we have some setting somewhere? (can we read from BEx Analyzer also?)
2. What exactly is the background process sequence which is followed when an APD is executed?

When we execute APD , MDX statement generated and which will execute and bring data from the data targets .
Bex Query Conditions will not be applied to the MDX statements, we need to filter those records in the APD process , using ABAP program Process or any other filter process ..
