SNote - Problems to implement SNotes

Hi,
I have heard about an intrastat problem in a system, after it has been transported to another system in a foreign country.
Therefore I got the task to implement the Sap Note 533586, because in there the point 2 exactly describes the problems, we have.
But I only have impemented small sap notes. In this case, there have to be many other sap notes implemented before its possible to implement that note. Because of that I wanted to impement them automatically by using transaction SNOTE.
My questions:
- Where can I see, if the sap note is already implemented by a new support package. I have asked a basis guy and he told me, that the sap note should be implemented in our package level... But the problem still occurs!
- I´m always getting the message: "SAP Note does not contain valid correction instructions", when I´m pressing the implement button in SNOTE
- Should I download the previous Sap Notes in SNote and implement them seperately before?
Here is the patchlevel of the system. Maybe (hopefully) somebody can tell me, if the sap notes are already included, if I have to implement them, or what else I can do...

According to note 533586, it was included in pack SAPKH46C35.
Do System - > Status, and click on the Component Information button (looks like a magnifying glass) and if it really is at SAPKH46C48, you don't need to apply it.
Try looking for another note

     It is found that Adapter Engine has error status with red light. Is it why the file couldn't be sent?

What is the type of Business system is this. Standalone Java?
JPR can have problem if you have a business system thats not ABAP/Java type if this system is not having a SAP TS in landscape then create Java type.

Problem in Implementing Filter BADI

Hi Experts ,
I have a problem in Implementing Standard BADI OIJ_NOMIT_VALIDATION , this one is a Filter BADI , with Filter type OIJ_NOMITEM_CHCK . i created a implementation ZOIJ_NOMIT_VALIDATION with filter ZOIJ_NOMIT and write code in method VALIDATE . But this is not triggered. Any additional configuration needed for this ?

Added method getX() throws Ex (Ex implements Exception)
Select class and generated J2EE 1.4 RPC webservices
Got the warning :
Generating WSDL and mapping file

Now When I generated client proxy from the wsdl generated, Ex class is not getting generated.
Can some one help me please.

If you are using Ex in the implemetation class, make sure that you also include the same in the interface (or SEI).
If the implementation looks something like:
public void doSomething() throws Ex {
System.out.println("Is there something to do, now ?");
then the SEI should be:
public void doSomething() throws Ex, RemoteException;
If your have ommited Ex, then you will have the warning you are seing, and there wont be any artifact generated for Ex in the WSDL.
Because the Ex exception was not mapped to any WSDL artifact, there is no way you will see the Ex exception generated on the client side (or proxy).
I have been able to reproduce your error message, so you should be all good.

The major problem during implementation is gaps in AS-IS Study. If we do not study the peocess to the minute bit, then we tend to miss out critical requirement & this is realized during testing. Then the redo takes a longer time, compared to doing it correct initially. Ofcourse, Things will not be correct in first attempt, but if the number of things to redo is leasser, it becomes more convienent, as during testing phase, we are already overloaded with many activities to be taken care of.
We should be very clear what is not possible in SAP or even if possible with development, but the particular development is not in scope of project, we require to say a clear NO to it.
It is difficult to pin point the problems. If I share one of my experience, one of my project was fot service industry & the basic scenarios were periodic billing, mile stone billing & resource related billing & all three I had no prior experience. I had clue of Milestone & Periodic, but no clue of resouce related billing. I had to stuggle hard to get the scenario configured & configuring to the requirement of client. But finally I could do it successfully.

You need to get back to SAP. Sometimes notes have incorrect information in them.

Problem while implementing OSS note 1077403

I am trying to implement a OSS note ( 1077403) using SNOTE transaction. When I download the note, the status of this note is u201CCan be implementedu201D. It creates few standard programs which are utility programs related to Unicode conversion. While implementing this note, I am facing the issue "Objects can only be created in SAP package" and some of the objects in the note are not created. The note status becomes u2018Incompletely Implementedu2019.
Can you please suggest what could be the issue?

Have you a basis release version >= 6.20 ?
you can use transaction SNOTE to implement the version for Basis Release 6.20 and higher.

Problem with implement BI_cont_ TX

After I add Bi-cont 5.0 om my bi installation.
I treid to implement Bi_cont ext on SAINT as add-on. But I get this massages:
caution upgrade or prepare is still running import not permitted
I did run report RSUPGRES on client 000 by DDIC user. But I get this massages:
Report cannot run on shadow system !
My shadow instance is 003.
Any idea what is the problem

Shadow instance is not client specific. Shadow instance is replica of your original system but without application data.
As you said earlier, upgrade is finished then there should not be any shadow instance because after upgrade shadow instance does not exist.
So, either upgrade is still running in the system that's why you are getting that message or your doing it wrong.

I'm using EP 6.0 SP2 directly installed from the CD
#51 020 549 without explicit installation of any patch or hotfix; the portal itself shows the version number 6.0.2.0.0 (implementation version 6.2.0.0.200310100950).
I switched on logging but I never reached the INamespaceManager's methods isQueryPropertyNameUnderstood() or getQueryBuilder().
So I figure that this might a problem of my (too old?) unpatched version of EP6????
What can I do to get the serach func running?

A problem about implementing Background CO in 7.1.1

Hi,all.
   I tried to implement backgrond CO in 7.1.1.
   I implemented my background co in several ways.
   No matter which way i did it, I always got an error message
"java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/sap/caf/eu/gp/co/api/IGPBackgroundCallableObject ".
   I tried to following the tutorial and the note, but it`s still the same.
   Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks.

My problem looks like that my background co can`t find com/sap/caf/eu/gp/co/api/IGPBackgroundCallableObject.
I have checked this class which exists in caf/eu/gp/api and I have added it to my ear project with every kind of dependency including build time, design time, deploy time, and runtime.
Did I miss anything?
I really have no idea what I can do now.

Problem in implements ADF Faces: Detecting and handling user session expiry

I´m trying to implement a method to handle user session expiry as explained by frank nimphius in his blog.

I have implemented the class bellow and add the filters in web.xml. However when I add the JavaServer Faces Servlet to sign the filter, my hole application get nuts. I try to publish the applicatoin in the OAS and it seems that it already starts expired.
Someone konw what I´m doing wrong?

Problem after implementing exit EXIT_SAPLEBND_002

Now, the problem is release strategy and versions management are not getting activated at the same time.
If I am activating version management then release strategy getting deactivated automatically.
How should I correct it. Please help.

Hello, I'm using Jdev 11g, JPA (with EclipseLink 1.1.1) & EJB 3.0. I'm trying to build TABLE_PER_CLASS inheritance.
Here is entities' code:

When I'm trying to call method, which calls Doc.findDoc query:

I get no table found SQL error and JPA is trying to execute query like
SELECT FROM DOC WHERE ...
Looks like EclipseLink sets wrong table name.
P.S. When I added second child, the query was the same and there was no union in it.

As Anindita mentioned, this query will force reading from all the tables in the inheritance heirarchy, including the DOC table. Since it does not exist, you get the exception. I do not believe that any JPA provider could work in this senario, since the specification requires providers to query on Doc since it is marked as an Entity, even though you have marked it as an abstract class
I believe you might get past this problem if you mark the Doc class as a @MappedSuperClass instead of an entity. This will cause it to be correctly interpreted as not being instantiated, and so will not require a DOC table be defined.
