So i used to have this album in my itunes library but i deleted it by accident and i found out its nt any where on my computer and it's nt in my itunes back up either. I took it off my ipod about a month ago because i had to create a backup. Between that time span when my ipod was blank i had deleted that album off itunes so when i downloaded all my stuff from my backup onto my ipod the album was gone and it was like a HUGE album about a hundred or so songs what do i do to get it back???

I have a master iTunes file that contains all the music that I or my children have bought and then my own collection within the file. That song, 'Mercy, Mercy Me/I Want You' is gone from both lists
Nabitnak, Not sure what kind of master file you are keeping, but the song file is probably in your backup.
Why is that song not available on iTunes? I can get it on Amazon.
The iTunes Store, like any retailer, does not have 100% of all existing items. But anyway, if you can buy it on one store, it hardly matters why another store does not have it.
The coincidence of my missing song and iTune's missing the same song is beyond suspicious.
Maybe, although if you have a backup it should be there.
To address the other part of your question, "I can find it on You Tube, why not iTunes?": Youtube has content that is uploaded by users. Music retailers such as iTunes have content that they are licensed to sell as downloads. The two things have nothing to do with each other.

I have about 200GB worth of movies and music in my iTunes Library. However, when I go into my C: drive and right click on the iTunes folder and select "Properties" it shows 295GB? Do I have duplicate data in there? I did delete a bunch of movies out of my library and when it asked I told it to keep the files. Could that still be sitting there? If so, how do I get them out?

Possibly yes to one or both options you mentioned. To get them out, delete them using Windows Explorer.

I have 2 albums on my iTunes library (Brand New Machine and Calamari) and when I go to sync it onto my iPhone 5s it doesnt come up as an option, when I go to the itunes store it wont let me download it from the cloud, why can I get these 2 specific album?

I'm not sure if there are more albums that are doing this and I just havn't noticed that they aren't on my phones but I really want thee two album on my phone, when I go onto iTune on my computer the albums are there and I can listen to the music, but when I go to sync my music (I have a shared account with my mum so I select my music individualy) it doesnt come up as an option, and when I go to the iTunes app on my phone I can't download the albums from the cloud, it just says purchased, any idea what I can do?

You can authorize up to 5 COMPUTERS to one itunes id.
ONLY computers count. ipods/iphones/ipads/Apple tvs do not count at all toward this.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Thank you all for your replies. Here is what i ended up doing. I cannot afford any 3rd party software so i went to itunes and manually entered all my playlists. As I had indicated my purchased music was on my new computer just not the playlists and I could not sync my ipod. After I rebuilt all my playlists I tried to restore my ipod to factory defaults/new. All of the steps called for in apple support and elsewhere were not available to me. I connected my ipod, went to my computer, right clicked my ipod, and formatted. That wiped my ipod so when I connected to itunes it then gave me a restore option. I did the restore and all is good in the empire again. I can now buy new music and sync my ipod so I am a happy camper.

What you are saying does not make sense. You redeem a card once, that's it. It doesn't matter what device you are using, as long as it's using the same account, you will get the reminder of your store credits.

If you are using the 2nd or 3rd gen Apple TV (little black box) then it would have no syncing or storage capability.
iTunes content would be accessed using home sharing.

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

Sorry, but audiobooks cannot be downloaded more than once without charge, so if you don't have a viable backup, you may be out of luck. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the situation, and see if they can make an exception for you.
