searching for files containing temp I found this
in D:\oracle\product\10.1.3.3\soa_suite\opmn\conf\opmn.xml
look for
<environment>
<variable id="TMP" value="C:\DOCUME~1\Oracle\LOCALS~1\Temp\1"/>
</environment>
and change it to your needs

  • SOA 11.1.1.5 two Node Cluster BAM not starting on the second Machine

    Hi,
I have installed Oracle SOA 11.1.1.5 in a 2 Node Cluster. Both SOA Managed Servers are coming up fine. BAM Managed Server installed on the primary HOST also comes up fine. But my second BAM Managed Server is not starting. I don't see anything in the logs and on the Console the status is showing as Starting but it never starts. I can access the BAM Console for the one installed on the primary HOST but when giving the URL for the second HOST it doesn't come up as the I don't see an option the server is running.
I have 2 machines for this cluster setup
On machine one with IP Address: *192.168.2.2* all below servers come-up fine
    Admin
    BAM1
    SOA1
On machine two with IP Address: *192.168.3.3* have the below servers and only the SOA is coming up fine BAM not starting
    BAM2 not starting
    SOA2 coming up fine also
After giving user/password this is what I see in the terminal window and it never moves looks like getting stuck:

    Hi,
I have installed Oracle SOA 11.1.1.5 in a 2 Node Cluster.

  • SOA managed server and SOA infra not starting

    Hi
I have my database and listener up and running. I can also successfully start SOA Administration server.
But I am unable to start SOA managed server. I can see SOA managed server getting started with WARNING and SOA infra always fails to start.
I tried using both from command line as well as from NodeManager but without any luck. As a result I am unable to proceed with Deployment as soa_server1 does not appear in Step 4 in Jdeveloper deployment GUI dialog. I would also like to ask from the Gurus:
How can I start soa-infra alone as I cannot see any command from the command line to individually start soa-infra ?
Here is my part of output from soa_server1. The exception errors keep logging in loop and the file is growing. I had to terminate the process:
    <Jun 3, 2010 10:40:03 PM> <INFO> <NodeManager> <Server output log file is '/home/oracle1/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/domain1/servers/soa_server1/logs/soa_server1.out'>

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply
Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application
    Please advice
    Thanks

i able to create BAM connection ,sensors and sensor actions also .., but after deploying the process
the values are not getting updated in the created dataobject contents..
In the step 9 the option D is not working for me ..(Refer the Documentt in this link http://wiki.oracle.com/page/Oracle+SOA+Suite+10g+(BPEL)+and+BAM+11g+Integration)

  • How to invoke external bpel in BAM

    Hi
I wanted to know how to call a bpel process residing in other machine onto local machine having BAM server? Solution required urgently.
    I'm using soa 10.1.3 and bam 10.1.3.
    thanks in advance

This is easy and straight forward. You have to 1st point your JDev env from BPEL dev env to BAM machine, and then design BPEL BAMsensors to publish the events into BAM. Details are given in http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/bam/10.1.3/htdocs/1013_support.html
technotes sections. The document and steps assume localhost as default- in your case: replace localhost with your BAM machine name.

Followed the guide @ http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bam/technote-bam-multiplesecurityprovid-130532.pdf
    As per the BAM requirement,
    1) Created user "OracleSystemUser" in the external LDAP

  • Distributed deployment of SOA Suite 11g

Could please anyone guide how to install and run the SOA Suite 11g across 3 different Windows machines. I'd like to setup a SOA Suite WebLogic domain, where the 1st machine is running admin server, the 2nd running soa_server1 and 3rd running bam_server1.
    Thanks!

If you want to setup like the above requirement do these.
    1. Invoke config wizard. Choose Create domain. Select SOA, BAM & EM.
    2. In the Machines screen, create two machines other than LocalMachine. Modify the listen address of these machines to the respective machine ips.
    Eg: MachineA- localhost
    MachineB - MachineB IP/Hostname
    MachineC- Machine C IP/Hostname.
    3. Assign SOA server to machine A & BAM server to MachineB.
    4. Complete the configuration.
    5. Now run the pack command from $ORACLE_HOME/common/bin with -managed option.
    6. Unpack the domain in MachineB & MachineC.
    7. Start the Admin server in MachineA. Login to Admin Console. Navigate to Servers -> Admin Server -> SSL. In Advanced Section, sethostname verification to NONE. Restart the Admin server.
    8. Start Nodemanager in all the machines. (Make sure you have run setNMProps.sh/cmd before starting node manager)
    9. Login to Admin Console. Start the SOA & BAM servers.
Note: You must install WLS, Oracle SOA Suite in all the three machines. Make sure your MW_HOME & ORACLE_HOME path are same in all the three machines.
The following is the EDG guide link
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/core.1111/e12036/toc.htm
This is not the exact requirement for yours, but it will help you to understand the pack/unpack stuffs.

  • SOA Suite & Weblogic Suite licenses

    Hi
I need help to understand the difference in licensing between SOA Suite and Weblogic Suite.
If we plan to run SOA suite, is that mean that we need to have a SOA Suite license and a Weblogic Suice license or it is enough to have an SOA Suite licens.
    Thanks
    Regards
    /Martin

    Hi Martin
As far as I know, the licenses are different for both these products.
    1. Weblogic Server has its own license and this Weblogic Suite DO NOT include any SOA Suite components. It just includes weblogic server and coherence.
    2. SOA Suite has its own license and this do NOT include any Weblogic server. SOA Suite includes like soa components, BPM, business rules, BAM, WebServicesManagement etc. Now, this SOA Suite can be installed only on top of the Weblogic Server.
So if you want to use SOA/BPM Suite, then first you need to buy license for Weblogic Server. Then buy SOA/BPM Suite License.
This is how it was 2 yrs back when SOA 11.3 was released. I think, same thing applies to latest versions also.
Incase if licensing has changed recently, I hope someone from Oracle Product Team, can share their views.
    Thanks

  • Oracle BAM Installation

    Hi All,
I want to install Oracle BAM without Oracle SOA suite. Planning to use ODI to feed BAM.
Is it possible to install BAM without SOA Suite?
Docs for ODI and BAM integration?
    Regards,
    Nataraj R.

    Hi Nataraj
    1. Sofware wise, NO, you do NOT have separate just Oracle BAM Installer or product. Oracle BAM is part of SOA/BPM Suite as far as I know. So first you had to Buy entire SOA Suite that includes Oracle BAM. Then run RCU and create schemas for orabam and mds.
    2. While creating Domain using config wizard, you can select just Oracle BAM components. Remember I can have SOA Domain or BPM Domain without BAM. So vice versa should be possible. you can have just domain with only Oracle BAM Configured.
But software side, you had to buy entire SOA Suite. Check with Oracle Product team if they can sell only Oracle BAM which I am confident may not be available.
All above information if for latest suite of Oracle Products like version 11.x (SOA Suite 11.5 to SOA Suite 11.7). On Downloads link I did see separate Oracle BAM Installer BUT older version 10.3.5. So not sure if you can use old version and how old that one is. We all use Oracle BAM 11.x version that gets when we buy SOA/BPM Suite 11.x.
    Thanks

  • JMS as an external source for BAM

    Hi guys,
I have question - Can we use a JMS defined in the Weblogic server as an source to the BAM?
We dont want to use SOA suite completely but the BAM for monitoring and reporting purpose. So in this regard just want to understand as what are the various REAL-TIME options available for BAM integration.....not using SOA BAM adapter.

    Hi
In order to take the KPI from the Hyperion Performance Scorecard, you can link OBIEE Repository with the backend tables that HPS generates and in your case HPS_MEASURE is the table that links the information on KPI. Other useful table for you could be.
    HPS_MEASURE_WEIGHTING
    HPS_MEASURE_UNIT
    HPS_MEASURE_TO_NAMED_RANGE
    HPS_MEASURE_TARGET_SETTER
    HPS_MEASURE_SEC_PERSPECTIVE
    HPS_MEASURE_RESULT_COLLECTOR
    HPS_MEASURE_RESULT
    HPS_MEASURE_PRIM_PERSPECTIVE
    HPS_MEASURE_OWNER
    HPS_MEASURE_INITIATIVE
    HPS_MEASURE_FACTORY_TYPE
    HPS_MEASURE_DOMAIN
    HPS_MEASURE_DIM_MEMBER
    HPS_MEASURE_DATASOURCE
    HPS_MEASURE_COMPARATOR
    HPS_MEASURE_COMP_VALUE
    HPS_MEASURE_ANNOTATE_CREATOR

  • Installation of 11g SOA Suite

    Hello All,
    I have installed the
    ORacle 11g DB
    RCU to create schema
    Oracle 11g SOA suite
Two Domains for BAM and SOA suite (without) selecting the Admin Option as referred in QUick install guide.
I have query on these two weblogic domains as both of them have the same port 7001, how can I run both the domains ?
Have you found the .xml files as mentioned in page no. 49. of the guide ?

    Hello Baskar,
I did refer Quick installation while installing and followed the steps, hence created two domains with the understanding that BAM component probably needs a separate domain (BEA) as it could be bit heavy weight component.
I believe if BAM, SOA and EM can run in a single domain, even now it is NOT too late, there is a option to configure domain and I will use the SOA domain create to check the BAM component also into it and start only this domain. But the quick installation guide seems to have a conflicting guidance steps.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/install.1111/e14318/qisoa.htm
Refer the Installation Guide and the steps for configuring BAM and configuring SOA, they had been given in two step activity with different domains.

  • SOA Infra Mgmt API for BPEL activity details from work_item table in MDS

    Hi Guys,
Can anybody please tell, whether there is a class/interface available inside Infrastructure Management Java API Reference for Oracle SOA Suite 11g to get information of running BPEL process ACTIVITIES (invoke, receive wait etc.)?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply
Here is my installation details on Linux 32 bit OS:
    Weblogic server- wls1032_linux32.bin
    Repository Creation Utility- ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.2.1_disk1_1of1.zip
    SOA Suite- ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip
    JDeveloper Studio, base install- jdevstudio11112install.jar
    SOA Extension for JDeveloper- ofm_osb_generic_11.1.1.3.0_disk1_1of1.zip
The installation went very smooth and there was no errors in the same.
I can successfully start the Weblogic Administration server from the command line but unable to start successfully SOA Managed (soa_server1), Infra and BAM server (bam_server1). I tried starting SOA Managed (soa_server1) from command line as well as from Weblogic console EM (after starting Node Manager) but always receiving the errors I uploaded in my post earlier. As a result I am unable to deploy any composite application
    Please advice
    Thanks

  • Cant connect at BAM console from the second server

    Hi
I have BAM 11.1.1.3.3, running with 2 managed servers (cluster). I created a user on WLS console with DefaultAuthenticator method.
I associated this user as Report architect at BAM Grid Control.
I can connect at OracleBAM apps from one server, but from the second server I get error:
    BAM-00223: service oracle.bam.adc.common.core.IDataStore
    What could it be??
    TX

Did you configure the BAM cluster in active-passive mode. Since the BAM server does not support active active configuration.
By looking at the error it looks like the BAM server is trying to start on the other node. Please follow the SOA HA documentation to configure BAM active passive.
    Thx
    Ritesh
