SOAP Messaging Missing

Hi buddies,
     Have you ever been suffering from missing messages of SOAP sender adapter?
     The java sender program shows that the messaging has been delivered to XI SOAP adapter successfully, but I cannot find it in neither adapter engine, nor integration engine.
     BTW, our clients use the XFire technology to generate the soap message and send it without any exception to be throw out.
     Any suggestions?
YiNing

if I want to use SOAP sender adapter in asynchronous senario, is there any method that can be used to avoid this issue?
I've been suffering this from gSOAP which using C++, XFire which using Java in different projects.
I found these tools determines whether the receiver system have accepted the soap message by getting the http code 200.

  • MessageId missing in SOAP message header

    I am trying to execute a SAP (IDoc) -> XI -> SAP (ABAP Proxy). The SAP machines are 6.2, the XI machine is 6.4. I have generated and tested the ABAP proxy, works without issue. Per previous threads I also tested the message mapping in the repository, also works successfully. When I review the SXI_Monitor in XI, the message is received successfully, mapped successfully, but errors in the Adater Call step. There is no message listed as received in the sxi_monitor on the recevier SAP system. Error Message is as follows:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIProtocol</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="PARSER">ITEM_MISSING</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>/MessageHeader/MessageId</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>XML tag /MessageHeader/MessageId missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    Looking at the message in the monitor it does have a message id assigned. Only other interesting thing is in the trace section where it says :
      <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_MAIN-WRITE_MESSAGE_LOG_TO_PERSIST" />
      <Trace level="1" type="System_Error">Error exception return from pipeline processing!</Trace>
      <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_MAIN-WRITE_MESSAGE_TO_PERSIST" />
    All other messages are successful in this persistence(send to file, Idoc, etc).
    What is the issue?

    Hi Darin,
    Check your receiver communication channel.  Make sure that the protocol is set to XI 2.0 for 6.2.
    Hope that helps.

  • Header missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)

    Hi Experts,
    We are implementing interface MasterDataUpdateConfirmation_Out between 2 SAP ERP systems. The middleware is SAP PI.
    SAP PI team requested a change in this interface Stack - Replace Stack ABAP by Stack Java. The changes were made.
    However, now we get an error in the interface in the SAP ERP sender system, but the message arrives to SAP PI where is processed without errors and also arrives to SAP ERP receive system and the message is also processes without errors.
    The error we have in XML message in SAP ERP sender system is:
    XML element {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Header missing in
    SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)
    Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_PARSER
    Can anyone please help us? We have no ideia what to do.
    Thanks in advance,
    RS

    Hi again,
    I don't know if it is important, but the communication is asynchronous and the sender system is SAP ECC 6.0.
    Thanks!

  • Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)

    I have scenario where in I am sending a file from XI to PCK. BUt i am getting a following error.

      </ns0:CFP_SENDER_MT>
    Can somebody please enlighten me about this error? Points would be rewarded immediately
    Regards,
    Manish

    Dear Manish,
    quite often the reason for this kind of error
    is the fact that the receiver of the XI message is
    returning a http response to the Integration Server.
    As of XI3.0 SP21 / PI7.0 SP13 this response
    is also properly parsed and visible in the error
    header of the XI message.
    For almost all prior support package levels an
    advanced correction is available as per OSS note:
    1064346 Improved error output for connection problems
    Please check whether this applies to your system.
    If so, you will see detailed information on the error
    in the error header object of the XI message as soon
    as this issue re-occurs.

  • Posting XML via HTTP post returns "Envelope missing in SOAP message header"

    Hi,
    I am trying to post a simple XML message directly to the integration server using an html document, where the form that contains the XML message is a simple
    <b><FORM action="http://servername:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" method="post"></b>
    So, I add my xml message like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8">
    <ns:PlantMaintenanceMessageType xmlns:ns="http://sap.com/demo/plantmaintenance">
          <EquipmentID>SLIEQUIP5</EquipmentID>
          <FunctionalLocation>KB</FunctionalLocation>
          <Date/>
          <Time/>
    </ns:PlantMaintenanceMessageType>
    but I get a message back from the Integration Server as:
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
      <SAP:Category>XIProtocol</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="PARSER">ITEM_MISSING</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>Envelope</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <b><SAP:Stack>XML tag Envelope missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)</SAP:Stack></b>
      </SAP:Error>
    Seems like I am missing the Envelope so my Integration Server can understand my post. What does the Envelope look like or should conatain so that the Integration Server accepts my XML file ?
    Thanks !

  • SOAP Action missing in Axis adapter

    Hi,
         I am not able to send data to a Web Service using Axis Adapter (SOAP 1.2) and getting an error of "SOAP Action is missing". Can see that SOAP action is missing in the SOAP message sent to Web Service. Communication channel is configured with SOAP Action.
    Am on PI 7.10 SP6.
    Any help is appreciated!!
    Thanks
    Kiran

    Hello,
    I tink you are using receiver SOAP Communication channel... Ask your client to provide the same... because.... your message will be processed at receiver side by using SOAP Action at receiver side...
    SOAP action is mandatory for SOAP Receiver communication channels...
    Thnx
    Subbu

  • SOAP envelope missing some info

    Hello
    I have been struggling with a web service request for some time and i need some assistance.
    I have to insert subscriber info into someone elses db.They created a web service for me.
    My code looks like this:
    <cfinvoke  webservice="http://41.208.61.35/legacyfallback/ws/legacyLifeWS.php?wsdl" method="register1" returnVariable="somereturn">
        <cfinvokeargument name="name" value="steve" />
        <cfinvokeargument name="mobilenumber" value="123456" />
    </cfinvoke>
    The person who created the web service uses php.
    He checked my return and he saw this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><soapenv:Body><register1 soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"><mobileNumber xsi:type="xsd:string">123456</mobileNumber></register1></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>
    He tried the same from his side using php to do the call and he got this return:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:tns="http://www.callagain.co.za/soap/legacyLifeWS" xmlns:types="http://www.callagain.co.za/soap/legacyLifeWS/encodedTypes" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><soap:Body soap:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"><register1><mobileNumber xsi:type="xsd:string">0824566072</mobileNumber><name xsi:type="xsd:string">Pieter</name></register1></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

  • SOAP messages in XI 2.0

    We have a scenario where we need to get a request from a non-SAP system and a response needs to be sent back synchronously.  Till now we have done the following:
    1. We have installed the SOAP adopter.
    2. I have written a RFC-enabled function module in the backend system.
    3. I have created the configuration in XI20.
    4. I have written a ABAP program to generate SOAP
    messages.  This program used HTTP destination to external servers.
    I can see that the message is being received in the SOAP adopter. <b>But, the program comes back with an error message saying that 'No own business system'
    (CONFIG.LCR_ERROR).</b>
    Here are the steps I did for config.  Please correct me if I am wrong.
    1. I have created two data types: Request and Result
    2. I have created two message types for these two data   types.
    3. I have created two message interface; one as outbound synchronous and the other as inbound synchronous (this is where I am not sure whether I did this correctly).
    4. Next I have created two message mappings one to map the request on the RFC function module and the second for the result from the same function module.
    5. Then I have created a interface mappings with request and response.
    6. Then, I went to Integration Builder - Config and did the following.
    7. I have created a interface determination for inbound interface giving sender business system, receiver business system and the inbound interface and interface mapping.
    Looks like I am missing something or done something incorrectly. Your guidance is very much appreciated.
    Thank you, Ram Rayavarapu

    Ram--
    Everywhere in XI, the acronym "LCR" is synonymous with "SLD", System Landscape Directory.  It seems like it may be a term they used early on, or maybe it's the German equivalent.  The LCR acronym is sprinkled throughout SAP's underlying code.
    In your error message, it's complaining about the Business System entry in the SLD.
    My first thought would be that either the source or target business system is not configured in the SLD, or you haven't defined the business system properly in the SOAP adapter configuration.  See the "XI20 Adapter Engine" manual for instructions on how to configure the SOAP adapter.
    NOTE: You may be able to configure the SLD to make this solution work on your own, but for long-term usage, you're going to want an expert to model your system landscape and configure the SLD properly.

    Hi ,
    Just a few pointers:
    "Element caching should not be used at the top levels of an XML document by a generic encoder, since it is
    unlikely that the full document would be repeated. With SOAP, it is typically wise to start element caching at the
    third level, i.e. leave Envelope and Body alone. Of course, if the encoder has more knowledge of the messages
    sent, going further up may pay off."

  • Xs:dateTime representation in soap message

    I have a web service written with axis2 that I need to migrate to jax-ws. There is also a base of installed clients that would be very hard to update, so the messages really need to stay unchanged.
    The service has some elements with xs:dateTime attributes. My problem is that the old axis2 service generated soap messages for these dateTime attributes like this:
    <created>2010-10-20T09:23:37.463+02:00</created>
    <lastModified>2010-10-20T09:23:37.463+02:00</lastModified>Now, the migrated service generates the same messages like this:
    <ns3:created>
    <day>20</day>
    <fractionalSecond>0.194</fractionalSecond>
    <hour>9</hour>
    <millisecond>194</millisecond>
    <minute>26</minute>
    <month>10</month>
    <second>58</second>
    <timezone>120</timezone>
    <year>2010</year>
    </ns3:created>
    <ns3:lastModified>
    <day>20</day>
    <fractionalSecond>0.194</fractionalSecond>
    <hour>9</hour>
    <millisecond>194</millisecond>
    <minute>26</minute>
    <month>10</month>
    <second>58</second>
    <timezone>120</timezone>
    <year>2010</year>
    </ns3:lastModified>Which is unreadable to the axis2 clients.
    How do I fix the jax-ws service to generate dateTime types in the old format?

    It turns out I was missing some xml libraries in the classpath. I don't know exactly which one did the trick because I added a bunch of them. Unfortunately, I don't have time to investigate which particular jar file it was.

  • PayPal integration using SOAP messages

    Hello,
    for a integration scenario we want to call a PayPal SOAP API as described in https://www.x.com/docs/DOC-1244.
    The PayPal safety requirements are fullfilled by giving a Username, Password and Signature in the SOAP Header:
    <SOAP-ENV:Header>
      <RequesterCredentials xmlns=u201Durn:ebay:api:PayPalAPIu201D xsi:type=u201Debl:CustomSecurityHeaderTypeu201D>
       <Credentials xmlns=u201Durn:ebay:apis:eBLBaseComponentsu201D xsi:type=u201Debl:UserIdPasswordTypeu201D>
        <Username>api_username</Username>
        <Password>api_password</Password>
        <Signature>api_signature</Signature>
        <Subject>authorizing_account_emailaddress</Subject>
       </Credentials>
      </RequesterCredentials>
    </SOAP-ENV:Header>
    I have given the three values as Adapter-Specific Message Attributes filled by UDF in Message Mapping.
    The filled values are also visible in monitoring in section DynamicConfiguration.
    SOAP Adapter: http://s3.directupload.net/file/d/2127/r8y4aywt_jpg.htm
    Monitoring: http://s5.directupload.net/file/d/2127/cqvfds35_jpg.htm
    But PayPal responded:
    Authentication/Authorization Failed
    You do not have permissions to make this API call
    My credentials are ok. I have tested it within the PayPal NVP API Tester: http://www.shopsandbox.de/PayPal/Refund/ .
    How do I have to manipulate the SOAP header for a successful SOAP API call?
    Is it necessary also to insert the nodes ?
    If yes, how?
    Thanks in advance,
    André

    Hi,
    I´ve created the whole SOAP message in Message Mapping and changed the SOAP receiver adapter sending the message without envelope. But the response is:
    ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION
    HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Envelope>
    <Header>
      <RequesterCredentials>
       <Credentials>
         <Username>xxxxx</Username>
         <Password>xxxx</Password>
         <Signature>xxxxxx</Signature>
         </Credentials>
       </RequesterCredentials>
      </Header>
      <Body>
       <RefundTransactionReq>
        <RefundTransactionRequest>
         <Version>54.0</Version>
         <TransactionID>xxxxxxxxx</TransactionID>
         <InvoiceID>222222</InvoiceID>
         <RefundType>Partial</RefundType>
        <Amount>1</Amount>
        <Memo>memotext</Memo>
       </RefundTransactionRequest>
      </RefundTransactionReq>
    </Body>
    </Envelope>
    Have I missed sth?
    Thanks,
    André

  • Exception "main" javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Missing SOAP Header

    Hi
    I need to integrate E-Business Suite with ADF using JAX-WS proxy client. When I tried to invoke a method exposed in webservices, I am getting the below error
    Exception in thread "main" javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Missing in SOAP Header
    how to pass password with SOAP header?
    In a thread "https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2125723", they mentioned to include "wss_username_token_client_policy" and to set override property to set user/pw from a csf key. I included that policy while generating the proxy client in "Step 7" and after then what should I do?
    Is it the only way to invoke secured webservices? if not what are the ways to do it?
    Can anyone give me good example or sample codes to invoke secured webservice through "JAX-WS Proxy client"
    Thanks

    I suppose that this is duplicate of How to pass username/password through WebService proxy client to E-BS.
    For full example check: http://www.javadb.com/using-a-message-handler-to-alter-the-soap-header-in-a-web-service-client

  • Error message: Missing PDF maker files in Word 2007

    OK, I am beyond frustrated. I have had nothing but trouble with Windows Vista and Adobe Acrobat. Please help!!!
    What happens: first, the pdf addin for Word 2007 suddenly becomes disabled, for no apparent reason. Forget about trying to re-enable it through the Add-Ins menu, because Word tells me that the "connected state of Office Add-Ins registered in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed". This is a problem for me, because I use a special font (Vietnamese) that sometimes gets corrupted when running pdf maker. The only consistent way I have found to avoid this problem is to run the pdf maker as "Quick PDF" and as far as I can see that option is only available through the pdf addin in Word, I have never been able to find it when I open the Acrobat program and create a pdf from there.
    Second problem: shortly after the pdf addin becomes disabled, my Acrobat program loses the ability to create pdfs altogether. I get the error message "Missing PDF maker files". Yes, I have tried repairing the installation and re-starting my computer per the instructions given. It doesn't fix the problem. I also tried looking in the Knowledge Database on this website, but it appears that the instructions they have to fix the problem there are for earlier versions of Word, not 2007, because my version of word does not look like the version of Word in their little videos.
    This is the second time this has happened. The first time I resolved the problem by a) re-installing Acrobat, which is a pain because it involves calling Adobe and wading through their customer service to get a new installation number, and b) paying a computer repair service to dig deep into the guts of my computer and convince it to change the Office Add-ins to allow the pdf addin again. It worked for about 6 months, and now I have the same problem again. For some reason Vista is spontaneously disabling Acrobat.
    I simply cannot deal with this every few months. We all know that Vista is a crappy program, but I run a business and I need a program that works with whatever crappy program Microsoft puts out. Please, can anyone give me suggestions about how to re-enable these functions when Vista disables them?
    Thanks in advance!
    Alycia

    The FULL load is running for long time and after some time it fails with processing Overdue. ( It is loading directly into datatargets no PSA as this is Daily FULL load to cube, deleting the previous request) The job overview is successfully finished in source system.

    1)Data Package 6 ( 7407 Records ) : Missing messages -->
    2)Update ( 0 new / 0 changed ) : Warning received

    4)Processing end : Missing messages .
    When clicked on helpnode on each step:-
    1)Data Package
    A data packet is either sent with transfer method IDoc or PSA to BI. You have the option here of viewing the data received and of editing it where necessary, of posting the data packet in simulation, and of canceling in simulation, and, if it has not yet been posted successfully, of starting the update manually.
    2)Update
    See also Data packet processing steps
    By this the persistent saving of data is understood in its final target object
    3)Processing Message
    see also Data Packet Processing Steps
    Single message from the processing of a data packet. Some messages contain references to application logs or other requests. The monitor then allows corresponding jumps.
    4)Processing End
    see also Data packet processing steps
    If the processing of a data packet has been finished then any error messages for each process in the step up until this point are delivered to the monitor and to the called program (in the case of transferring by IDoc thus to the IDoc management). If no errors arose then a success message is logged per process.
    Messages from source system
    see also Processing Steps Request
    These messages are sent by IDoc from the source system. Both the extractor itself as well as the service API can send messages. When errors occur, several messages are usually sent together.
    From the source system, there are several types of messages that can be differentiated by the so-called Info-IDoc-Status. The IDoc with status 2 plays a particular role here; it describes the number of records that have been extracted in a source system and sent to BI. The number of the records received in BI is checked against this information.
