Soap2JDBC : Problem while designing data structure for Query

Hi ALL,
I am doing webservices(SOAP) to JDBC(syn) scenario without using BPM.We are sending the request from portal and getting the response from database.
I have lot of Queries.I am going to design based on the database Query.Please find the following Query.

All most all the queries having the same functionality.Could anyone please guide me how to design and how to map the source and the target fields using the Boolean(and,or.like,between) functions.
Now the problem is How to design the data stucture in Integration Repository using this query and how to extract these(and,or.like,between) functions.

this is the message iam getting from Portal side.Here iam testing using altova xml spy tool.
in this context
BS_SS      is my sender business system
soap_communicationchannel i   s my sender communication channel
Sender.service=BS_SS      (again my sender business system)
portalsoap_outbound_messinterface       is my message interface

Hello All,
We are using a two tier architecture.
Our Corp server calls the refinery server.
Our CORP MII server uses user id abc_user to connect to the refinery data server.
The user id abc_user has the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role.
The data server also has the checkbox for allow dynamic query enabled.
But we are still getting the following error
Error has occurred while processing data stream
Dynamic Query role is not assigned to the Data Server; Use query template
Once we add the SAP_xMII_Dynamic_Query role to the data server everything works fine. Is this feature by design ?

I thought that just adding the role to the user and enabling the dynamic query checkbox on the data server should work.
But we even needed to add the role to the data server.

Problem while designing an RPD

Hi Experts,
I have a problem while designing a chat.
Basically I have a pivot table with X axis as calendar week ( 9 weekend dates) and Y axis as value a A
Value of A in Y Axis
X axis as : 2/6/2010, 1/30/2010, 1/23/2010, 1/16/2010, 1/9/2010, 1/2/2010, 12/26/2009
Now my customer wants percentage value of
1. Current week verses last week i.e value of 2/6/2010 with 1/30/2010
2. Current week verses last month 1st week.2/6/2010 with 1/2/2010
It will be great if someone can give me an idea how to design this ( might be in RPD/Answers/Chat/Pivot table)
Someone suggested me
It will be easy to do at RPD. YOu have to create metrics based using time series functions. Use Ago() function and calculate WeekAgo and Month Ago metrics. "
But how? Could you please explain me in detail?

There is a solution in answers, but not bullet proof,. But give a shot if you like it
assuming you have date column, metric column( like quantity sold) in your report,.
1. Add metric column to the report again and change the column formula to following and check this table view. Which gives you prior week value in every row.
msum(Sales."Quantity Sold",2)-Sales."Quantity Sold"
2. then add metric column again to report, change the folmula like following
((msum(Sales."Quantity Sold",2)-Sales."Quantity Sold" )* 100) / Sales."Quantity Sold"
make you are closing braces correctly. above formula give you % change from last week to this week. Then use this new column in chart to show values.
You can try same logic for Month Ago week value. but you need to change Msum function to get 4 weeks before value.
liek this.... msum(Sales."Quantity Sold",5)-msum(Sales."Quantity Sold",4) will give 4 rows back value.
for all this you report is sorted by date.

i wrote : select single VTEXT1 from V_T685A into w_cst_jin1 where
 KSCHL = 'JIN1' and
 KAPPL = 'V'.
how to retrive the data.

Hi
This is a Maintenance View, not a Database View
SO can't fetch data using select statement.
You can use the Table T685 directly to fetch the condition Types data straight away instead of the view. write the same select for this table and use.

Problem while writing data on xls file using jxl API

Hi,
I am getting problem while writing data on excel file using jxl api.
When i write data on file and all handles associated to the file are closed, file size increases but when i open the file nothing is written in it and when file is closed manually from excel window, file size decreased to its original that was before writing data.
here is code:
          FileOutputStream os = new FileOutputStream(this.dirPath + this.fileName, true);
          WritableWorkbook this.workbook = Workbook.createWorkbook(os);
after writing data following handler are closed:
this.os.flush();
                    this.workbook.write();
                    this.workbook.close();
                    this.os.close();
                    this.os = null;

Err, I did help you. I did understand your problem; and I solved it for you. What was missing was that you apparently made no effort to understand what you were being told. Or even consider it. You just argued about it, as though you were the one with the solution, instead of the one whose code didn't work.
And the other thing that was missing was the part where you said 'thank you' to me for solving your problem. Somewhat more appropriate than biting the hand that fed you, frankly. I do this for nothing, on my own gas, and it's extremely irritating when people keep asking about problems I have already solved for them. I am entitled to discourage that. It's part of making them more efficient actually.
But it happens often enough that it also makes me think I'm just wasting my time. Probably I am.

Problem while reading data from Serial Port

Hi All,
I am facing some problem while reading data from Serial Port.
As per the requirement I am writing the data on Serial Port and waiting for response of that data.
Notification for data availabilty is checked with method public void serialEvent(SerialPortEvent event) of javax.comm.SerialPortEventListener.
When we are writing data on the port one thread i.e. "main" thread is generated and when data availability event occures another thread "Win32SerialPort Notification thread" is generated. This creates problem for me as we can't control thread processing.
So can anybody pls explain me how to overcome this problem?

My Problem is:-
I am simoultaneouly wrting data on port & reading data from port.
First I write data on port using outputStream.write() method. Now when target side sends me response back for the request on serial port DATA_AVAILABLE of SerialPortEventListner event occured,we are reading data from serial port.Now till the time we didn't get the response from target next command can't be written on the serial port. When we are writing data on port main thread is executed.Now my problem starts when DATA_AVAILABLE event occured.At this point another thread is created.Due to this my program writes data of next command without reading response of previous command.To solve this prob. I have used wait() & notify() methods as follows.But again due to this my pc hangs after execution of 2 commands. (PC hang in while loop in a code provided below.)
From SOPs I could figure it out that after 2 commands we are not able to write data on serial port so DATA_AVAILABLE event doesn't occure n pro. goes in wait state.
Can anybody help me to solve this issue.

Problem while importing data schema not found

I'm facing problem while importing data through system to a schema and impdp gives me error that schema XYZ was not found but when I query dba_users schema exist there what could be the reason of this.

Facing problem while loading data into XI

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem while loading data into XI when we load small amount of data say 5-10 records these records gets processed, but when we try to load a bit higher volume say 100-500 which comes out to be around 7 record s per second then the record processing gets stalled. That is it gives a message that "recorded for outbound processing".
So can any body throw some light on it and can tell us why we rare facing such problem and how can we resolve that problem.

Hi rahul,
Deregistering and Registering the Queue is a temporary solution.
The better way to this would be to Tune your Xi system as already mentioned by Vijaya as mentioned in the guide ,

Problem while postings a MIRO for partial deliveries.

Hi,
We ar facing a problem
while posting a Miro for the Planned delivery costs for the import orders.
when we receive an item in partial consignment of the same order.
The system will allow for the first time to post the deliver cost, after this the MIGO and MIRO will be done and cycle will be completed.
For the second remaining consignment, the system is not allowing to post the Miro itself for the delivery costs.
IT is giving an error message."Quantity invoiced greater than goods receipt quantity."
We have disable GR based IV in PO
Provide me the solution.

i hope you have done the following steps
1) for import do MIRO first for the custom duties ( CVD, Edu Cess, S& H Cess on CVD) by selecting planned delivery cost.
2) J1IEX ( capture) referencing material document number of MIRO.
3) MIGO of the qty received.
4) J1IEX ( post).
follow the same steps for the next consignment.
what I see is that you have mentioned the full qty against the value in MIRO.
say ur PO qty is 10 and your partial shipment is of qty 5.
then in first MIRO entry enter qty as 5 not 10.
pl check your material documents of MIRO and MIGO and see what qty you have entered.

Data structure for web-based discussion forum

Hello all. I have begun work on a discussion board forum but have not yet decided upon a data structure for the hierarchy of messages to be left on a board. Any one have any thoughts or experience in this matter? My first thought was to implement a basic linked list in which every reply to a message would be a new child of a node. This would require I use recursion in some areas for counting and finding messages but I was also thinking that this way I can store each thread object in a simple fashion using serialization.

Problem while loading data from ODS to infoobject

I am facing problem while loading data from ODS to infoobject.
If I load data via PSA it works fine but
if I load data without PSA its giving error as Duplicate records.
Do u have any idea why it is so.

Hi,
when you load the data via the PSA, what did you select? Serial or Paralel?
If you select serial most likely you don't have duplicates within the same datapackage and your load can go through.
Loading directly in the IObj will happen thefore if you have the same key in two different packages, the "duplicate records" will be raised; you can perhaps flag your IPack with the option "ignore duplicate records" as suggested...

I am facing problem while uploading data with FM GUI UPLOAD in out text file there are 7 row but after the FM GUI UPLOAD there are 14 entries are coming in Internal table and each alternate row is coming as blank with 0000 in some column in internal table first row is proper and second line is blank so on.
what can be the problem .
The program in which we are using this we are using it from last 2 year but we are facing problem today only.

The file formate is same as it is from last two years it is automatically generated by one another bar code server and there is no change in the file formate.
So waht can be the problem to check any inconsistancy in system i have develop a samll program fro uploading a text file with same function module , but it is working fine.

Hi,
well that problem is a long time back -. I only have in mind that the date I had to transfer to the quesry was in a "strange" format. Have a lock into the documentation for the date field - your date field is not recognised as a date field from the quesry engine and so this fails - but unfortunately I have no idea at the moment how I fixed it last time - how I converted my date field......
Sorry, thast I can not give you the real point - but I will have a lock into the old code - hopefully I find it soon.
