Solve this error pls 'java.lang.classNotFoundException' (For J2ME, WT2.5.2)

Hi All,
I am a new learner in J2ME. I m using WT2.5.2. When i press button to execute 'Hello MIDlet' program it shows
"Exception:java.lang.classNotFoundException" - this error in the Default Phone screen
and
the following ERROR shows in the Wirless Toolkit (WT) editior::

i can run the demo program but my one is not running. i copy the program from java tutorial.

Hi Darryl,
I saved this code as a "HelloMIDlet.java" in src folder of WT [and the "HelloSuite" as Midlet name, when we create project in WT u know it asks for Midlet name.
this code doesn't have compile time error.
it got runtime error cas in bin it got - HelloSuite.jd, MANIFEST.MF , there should be one more file which is .jar but it doesn't create.
i hope now u understand whts the error can u pls tell me or can u tell me the source how can i learn more about this.

Olival,
Is your application using UIX ? Seems like it from the error. The class you are getting the error on
Erro: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.cabo.ui.jsps.tags.RenderingContextTEI"
is part of uix2.jar, which is available in JDev environment, but not under standalone
OC4J. Hence the error.

I'm getting this error when trying to run my struts app:
"500 Internal Server Error
OracleJSP: oracle.jsp.parse.JspParseException: Nzmero da Linha 1, <%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/struts-logic.tld"
prefix="logic" %>
Erro: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.cabo.ui.jsps.tags.RenderingContextTEI"
The error msg is localized to my country (Brazil), so "Nzmero da Linha" translates to "Line Number", and "Erro" means "Error".
The error comes from the 1st page called by the application (index.jsp), wich uses the struts redirect tag.
Strange enough, this error only shows on OC4J 9.0.3 stand-alone (got the latest version today from OTN), but when calling from JDeveloper 9.0.3 (production), using the embedded OC4J, everything's ok.
Has anybody experienced the same error ?

Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp.UIXComponent

Hi all,
My JDEV 11g suddenly can't be started and it throws this error message:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp.UIXComponentTag
searched on internet, got no luck so far. It looks like that I missed a jar file somewhere that contains this class. But weird thing is that the IDE worked fine previously and I didn't do any change. Can someone tell me which jar file I might miss?
Btw, I used the integrated WLS locally.

'Trinidad Runtime 11' is included in the IDE, I couldn't find a "public_html" folder in Model project, but I see this folder under this path: \ViewController\model\public_html, also I see this folder: \ViewController\model\WEB-INF. I tried to rename the "public_html" to "public_html-bak" there and restart the server, then tried to launch the app in JDEV IDE, still I got this error: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp.UIXComponentTag.
I check the library and classpath in IDE and it shows this jar file is used: C:\Oracle\JDev11114gU3\oracle_common\modules\oracle.adf.view_11.1.1\trinidad-api.jar
then I opened this jar file and could only find the UIXComponentTag class as this path within the jar file: org\apache\myfaces\trinidad\webapp\UIXComponentTag.class. So I am wondering how could the application ask for this package: oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp.UIXComponentTag at all? I did a search in the application for "oracle.adf.view.faces.webapp", no returned at all.

Error: "Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:InterfaceApplet.class "

I am trying to execute an applet but the foolowing error occurs:
"Java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: InterfaceApplet.class Caused by: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection failed "
My applet is another computer, I execute the connection for network.
But the InterfaceApplet.class archive exists.
Also already signed the applet, what more I must make to execute this applet

Please check if wcps-util.jar is present in your Framework jars. That should solve the problem.
This jar you can find in your deployed jars wcps-util-app-lib folder at the following path
in your local machine system folder for JDev : DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\tmp\_WL_user

I am trying to use type 4 driver to connect to my Oracle 9i Rel2 database. I downloaded the odbc14.jar from oracle and added in the C:\Oracle9i\jdbc\lib path. As on the website, I setup my environment:

It seams like the jaxb-impl is missing from classpath.
Are you using shared libraries to define your jaxb-version, and implementation, see http://www.gwr.no/?p=549.
javax.xml.bind.JAXBException: Provider com.sun.xml.bind.v2.ContextFactory not found is solved by the
jaxb-impl part added to the shared library.

Failed to load servlet: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

I've been working on a project with other developers and we've all have our own sections of a large web application that we are working on. When we are each done working on our part we send our JSPs, Beans, and servlets to the lead developer that then deploys one EAR file on our Test/QA server. I now asked the tech lead if he could send me the EAR file so I can load the application in its entirety on my local machine. When I start up the server, I get the error "Failed to load servlet: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException" for each one of my servlets. Even if the servlet path is correct I still get that error. I also tried removing the servlet in the web.xml file and then adding it again, but I still get that error. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is this error appearing because I have two projects (my part of the application with only my code and the complete project from the EAR file) that point to the same servlets? I'm not sure how to resolve this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

That's what I thought too. But I'm installing an EAR file exported directly from another persons computer and the application is working fine on his machine. So the EAR file will automatically place the servlets in their proper path and directory structure when I import it. In any case I checked the paths myself and they are correct (the servlet file does exist in the same path). I also removed the servlet from the web.xml file and added it again through the websphere UI so if there was any miss-type in the directory path it would have been corrected by websphere. I also tried making a minor change to the servlet file and resaving it thinking that it might correct something or do something that would allow my websphere environment to see/recognize the existance of the servlet, but that did not work. I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here is a part of my log file if it helps: Thanks!

i have installed Oracle Developer Server and
compiled the Fmb in the Forms6i.
i have even installed the javawebserver and have done all the required procedure to run the fmx through an Html file. even the registry has been set accordingly.

Hello,
my assumption is that you have switched on SSL client authentication on the port you use for the Secure Login Web Client (the optional request flag).
Please try to configure to use another port without SSL client authentication requesting for the Secure Login Web Client or switch off the "request" for the Client Authentication Mode in SSL configuration in NW SSL Admin on the existing port (if you do not need it).

7u40 or 7u21 mixed code java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

I have a simple applet which shows a graph; this applet has two jar file, the main jar file is signed by a trusted CA and the other jar file is unsigned
in the manifest for the signed jar file, I have added
Trusted-Library value="true"
Whe applet starts from the java console when it tries to invoke a create object on the class from the unsigned jar file, I get java.lang.ClassNotFoundException for the given class from the unsigned jar.
I have tried this on window 7 Chrome and Internet explorer based on variety of Java 7 release (40, 21 on internet explorer and release 6 on Chrome)
It does not work.
If I signed the second jar file, it works fine.
Please notice, I do not want to bypass the check for mix code from java configuration.
Any idea or hint will be highly apprecieated.

I just did a simple test to call a method from a trusted jar into sandbox jar, I used reflection to do that and it worked.
It seems for every usage of any sandbox jar file classes in the trusted jar file, we have to use reflection ( load the class, invoke the required method ). Is this the way forward. Can somebody confirm this.

I am getting this exception:

I can understand that the classpath for the driver is the problem here.
Also, I tried to run this file without JBuilder as a independent file on a notepad. Even then this exception is thrown.
I have set the PATH to E:\oracle\ora81\bin and also to E:\oracle\ora81\lib.
I ran "echo %classpath%" from my command prompt and this is what i am getting.

Jbuilder5 uses a different means of loading dependent classes. Use menu : Tools -->Configure Libraries - Click New and setup a new named library that points to classes12.zip .
Then include this in u'r required Libraries of your project using menu Project --> Project Properties - required Libraries tab.
I don't thnk Jbuilder5 even refers to CLASSPATH set in Windows NT environement. Path may need to be set to include oracle/ora81/bin directory though.
