I really can't get why this is keep happening tried all of these :
1) use spacer left,right,yes
2)use a mono font
Still when the percentage of CPU goes to a 2 digit number conky is moving horizontally...
I use type_override coz I like conky to be bound instead of using a window..

Oh, I know what you mean. I had the same thing happen, I gave up on finding a way to avoid it.
ewaller: His text, centred, has a fixed space in which it will appear. The problem with that is, that as soon as a digit gets added (like cpu % jumping from 9 to 10) the text needs to be re-allocated on the given space.
As the manual states, spacer should get rid of this problem, but it either shouldn't do that but the description implies it does, or it should do it but for some weird reason we aren't able to make it behave like it should -- the text jumps
