[SOLVED] Help installing dhclient manually

Question

I've had no luck connecting to either my wireless or wired networks using dhcpcd so far. I double-checked, built, and loaded all the correct driver modules for the specific hardware, carefully configured the wireless network using the wiki guides, but still get just a "broadcasting for a lease" message when trying to get an IP address using dhcpcd on both my wired and wireless interfaces.
I've decided, therefore, to follow the wiki advice and try to use dhclient instead of dhcpcd. However, I'm experiencing some difficultly installing it, since I have no Internet connection meaning no pacman sadly. I downloaded the pkg.tar.gz file containing dhclient from the Arch Linux package site, copied it over to my laptop with Arch on it via USB and untarred it, but now all I have are a whole bunch of directories containing what appear to be licenses and a sample .conf file but no README file, makefile or anything else.
Google searches, Arch wiki searches, and forum searches have unearthed no other entries specifically about this topic, so I'm a bit stumped at what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so I managed to install dhclient using pacman after getting the pkg.tar.gz file from the Arch page. Thanks for helping despite the now obviously silly nature of my question. I will read the pacman man page and Arch Wiki page more carefully next time.

Sure. For my wireless interface, I have a Broadcom card that uses the broadcom-wl driver. I installed the driver by downloading the 64-bit package from the Broadcom website (there's a link to it on the Arch Wiki page for Broadcom) and building and loading the module on my laptop with Arch. I blacklisted numerous conflicting drivers (bcma, brcmsmac, b43, brcm80211, ssb) and doubled-checked that it was loaded using lspci -v to confirm that it was listed as a kernel driver for the wireless card.
