[SOLVED] How do I increase the size of an existing GPT ext4 partition?

I found some advice here

but I'm not sure whether the information is correct
1 Run parted on your device: parted /dev/sdX
2 Change display unit to sectors: unit s
3 Print current partition table and note the start sector for your partition: p
4 Delete your partition (won't delete the data or filesystem): rm <number>
5 Recreate the partition with the starting sector from above: mkpart primary <start> <end>
6 Exit parted: quit
7 Check the filesystem: sudo e2fsck -f /dev/sdXX
8 Resize filesystem: sudo resize2fs /dev/sdXX
I'd like to increase partition #2 from 200 Gig to 300 Gig using gnu parted.
(parted) p
Modell: ATA WDC WD15EARX-00Z (scsi)
Festplatte /dev/sda: 1500GB

GParted is a GTK+ frontend to GNU Parted and the official GNOME Partition Editor application.
I think gparted can do anything gnu parted can do. The warning about ext4 in the topic you linked is from 2009, and recommends using gparted with a version higher than 0.6.2-2. Gparted 0.14.0-1 is currently in the Arch repo, so I think it's probably safe.

Do you mean the menu bar at the very top of your screen?
If so, open System Preferences > Displays > Display > Scaled
Try a different resolution.

if yes then you need to extend the tablesapce of table MBUF, no the table.
using brtools you can extend the tablespace.

Thank you for responding. After investigating and checking further, it was clear that only one of your suggestions changes the font size of the list of emails, also called the In-box. And that is the display resolution.
However, changing the display resolution affects the dots per inch of everything, everywhere and makes it larger.
Given the high end fee Apple charges for their products, and the generally well developed software they provide, it is hard to imagine they have not corrected this obvious slight of effort on the inbox text. At times Apple's "one-size-fits-all" and "it's our way or no way" mentality astounds me and makes me want to run back to Microsoft.
Evidently this is a well known mistake, which has yet to receive any attention.
Again, thank you for your effort and assistance on my behalf.

I have vision issues and changing the desktop resolution on my 27-inch iMac from the default of 2560x1440 to 1920x1080 fixed the problem for me. Everything is still sharp, something that won't happen if you do control + scroll.
You change the desktop res by going to System Preferences > Displays and selecting 1920x1080 from the list

I see you are looking into printhead options. This particular model of printer has built-in printheads, making them non-removable.
I would recommend removing the cartridges and performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

Hey all, recently I’ve been struggling to read the system fonts on Yosemite. I need to squint in order to see texts. For example, the font at the top left of the screen where the ‘Apple logo’ is it’s hard for me to read the text. I’ve got a 21.5inch LED monitor.
In Finder, I’ve increased the text size to 16, which is the highest number. How can I increase it beyond 16 size font?
