[SOLVED] MyPaint having issues starting

Question

SOLVED:
I had an old version of numpy installed, duh. To upgrade I ran:
sudo pip-2.7 install --upgrade numpy
Old post:
[nak@arch ~]$ mypaint
RuntimeError: module compiled against API version 7 but this version of numpy is 6
We are not correctly installed or compiled!

I'm not sure exactly who to talk to regarding this, so I'm posting here, thanks a lot Arch forum! :-)

I installed from the repos, I did have an issue with /usr/bin/f2py2 existing without being owned by a package which conflicted with python2-numpy.  I removed it and re-ran the mypaint installation successfully.
Maybe I installed numpy with some other python package manager and there are conflicts? I haven't messed with python in so long. :-/
