[solved]URxvt and Xdefaults configurations not used

Yesterday I noticed that my middle-mouse button paste from URxvt had stopped working, and today I noticed that seemingly all my configurations (besides fonts) aren't being used in URxvt. If I run "source .Xdefaults" from a running URxvt, I get the error "no matches found: <option>". This error is returned for the first line of the configuration, and the following settings were moved from the top to the bottom to see if any other configurations work:
URxvt*perl-ext-common: default,matcher,clipboard
URxvt*perl-ext: xim-onthespot
urxvt*urlLauncher: /usr/bin/firefox
urxvt*matcher.button: 1
The only changes I can think of is adding the xim-onthespot line, the recent update to perl (however, since it occurs on non-perl lines as well, I'm not sure this is important), and the update to rxvt-unicode itself about 8 days ago (the problems could have been present thereafter, I just hadn't noticed).
Has the syntax changed, or is there something blatantly obvious I overlooked? I have also tried replacing the asterisk with a period (which results in a command not found error). It seems to me that no one else has posted this problem here yet, but I may have missed it somewhere, and if so, a link would be nice.

"source" is a bash builtin to execute bash code in the context of the current shell session. The errors you get are due to the fact that it's actually bash trying to run the contents of your .Xdefaults as shell commands. To make changes to an Xdefaults file take effect, use
xrdb -merge ~/.Xdefaults
Changes to Xdefaults should take effect in any case if you restart X, though. Maybe there's something else amiss, but at least sourcing the file is definitely wrong.

I'm also having this problem. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6, AIR 3.4 and I've made a DLL (e.g. ExtensionDll.dll) which needs to call functions in another DLL (e.g. DllUsedByExtensionDll.dll) . I've made sure my ANE is working with the ExtensionDll.dll already, so there are no issues with my actionscript code or my ANE packaging or my DLL compilation. However, once I start calling functions from the other DLL, it starts throwing me Error #3500. Even if I call this function (e.g. abc()) in ExtensionDll.dll, but I never actually use the function from actionscript, and I call another function (e.g. def()) from actionscript, the Error #3500 still appears, so it does not seem to depened on the whether the code is used or not.

... please note that the Skype Number will not "ring busy" - if you are using Skype, incoming calls would be diverted according to your Tools -> Options settings. The Skype Number provides a phone number for people to reach you, but the number has nothing to do with outbound calls you place.

Have you selected which disk you want to boot from? In System Preferences, click startup disk and choose the drive you want as your default boot drive.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro and I can not use my Clear broadband.

I just purchased a Mac pro book and I can not use my Clear broadband. A message pops up saying the operating system is running in 64 bit mode . Please switch to 32 bit mode. How do I swich the mode and will this cause problems. There must be other MacBook Pro operators that use Clear broadband as their internet connection.

Never heard of them but I Googled and took a look. Seems as if they offer either a USB modem or a 'home' modem - which do you have?
If you're on a newer Mac (and I see that you are) and running Mountain Lion you cannot start up in a 32-bit kernel. I'm not sure if thise is directly related to the question, actually, as some applications will actually let you 'open' in 32-bit mode. If you're using an application that runs the modem software, try selecting it and doing a "Get Info" (Command-I) from the Finder and see if there is an option to "Open in 32-bit mode".

You will need to restore it as new. unfortunately you will lose any data not saved but you can still redownload all of your apps.

When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.
Connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update
If you are using iTunes 11, go to View>Show Sidebar at the top - so the sidebar is visible.
