[Solved] Want to delete Opera 10 icon from menu

I am currently using xfce4 and had installed Opera 10 beta a while back. I deleted it but I can not remove the Opera icon from the main application/network menu.
Any idea to remove this icon?

If Opera or some other application decides to recreate it, there's another way that may work better. Edit the opera.desktop file in any text editor and set the line 'NoDisplay' to 'true'. If it doesn't exist, just add 'NoDisplay=true' on any new line in the file.

To delete Movies from your iPhone:
iPhone or iPod touch
Tap the Videos app.
Swipe left over the movie you want to delete.
Tap Delete.

From the Library pop-up menu, choose Movies.
Click Movies in the navigation bar.
Click the movie you want to delete.
Press Delete on your keyboard.
In iTunes 11 or later, the movie cover art will remain visible, but a Download icon will appear on it to allow you to download the item again (in countries that support this).

How do I delete an icon from the home page screen on an iPad 2 ?

Touch and hold any app icon on that page until all the icons start to wiggle. Then tap the X by the icon/app you want to delete. Press the Home button one to restore normal operation. You can't delete the native apps/folders that came with the iPad such as Maps or Gam Center.

First identify deleted records by selecting "Detect deleted rows from comparison table" feature in Table Comparison
Then Use Map Operation with Input row type as "delete" and output row type as "delete" to delete records from target table.

If the songs are downloaded into your iTunes library (i.e. they don't have the cloud icon against them) then you should be able to delete them by selecting them and pressing the delete button on your keyboard.
If they do have the cloud icon then they are in the cloud - you can turn off the showing of all icloud music via the 'Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases' on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma), or you can hide individual tracks and/or albums so that they don't show in the cloud : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

Open iTunes on your iMac.
In the lefthand column of the iTunes window that opens, under Library, click on Apps. A window will open that will show all the Apps you've downloaded. If you downloaded the App via the iPad, you will have needed to sync the iPad and the iMac previously for the App to be listed. (I think)

You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The Safari, Email and Notes applications are native to the iOS and is unable to be deleted. Since this is the case, they are either in a folder on the iPhone, on another page or Restrictions are enabled. You can also search for these Apps on the iPhone by touching the screen and sliding your finger down. Here is some information regarding these features. You need to enable Restriction to change the settings in there.
You can disable again it after you've done.

You can only wipe your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

No dragging to trash doesn't work. Just keep dragging them off. If they are stacked, which shouldn't happen, then when you delete one the other is still there.
Just how did you get duplicates? Did you put them there? If not then you have other problems and I'm not sure how to correct it.

Well, Aleksdev and Paul_31, you helped me a lot, , thank you so much.
Let me tell what worked.
I went to the dock and deleted the good Safari and System icons, then I draged the ones on the dashboard to the trash.
Then I restarted, and they were no more either on the dock nor on dashboard.
To put the safari icon back to the dock, I had to go Applications and drag the Safari Icon back to the dock. It worked, but with the icon for System Preferences, it did nit work this way.
But never mind the important is that Safari icon stays always at the dock .
So, one more time, guys thank you so much for the help.
Maybe I'll be asking some more questions in the future, if you don't mind. I'm not an I-MAC specialist. I'm new on Apple world.
