Learning PS Touch: what are some good resources?

I'm getting my Nexus 7 tablet this week and intend to install PS Touch on it for photo editing. Besides the Youtube videos I've seen from Adobe, what are some good resources for learning this app?
As an aside, based on just a cursorary look at PS vidoes, it seems that the videos are just barely touching on the tools and features of this app. It would be good to know if there are some resources that are more complete and detailed.

What are some good resources for title backgrounds and graphics to support titles?

Like you know when a video plays and a person name appears as they are speaking. Sometimes there is a graphic like bar behind the name. Just to give it some life. I know I can easily make a simple bar but is there a place I can find graphics for video like this?
Maybe with some animations?
Or in general some good tools for video editors.

You may want to learn how to do such things in After Effects. There are lots of tutorials around the internet on how to do that. Specifically, check out the "Fractal Noise" effect. You can make a wide variety of background very quickly with that effect.

Source code of a good swing application

Hi,
Can someone provide me a link to a good application with available source code based on swing (a database one with forms would be great). I'm trying to get some good implementation practice but I can't find any application one the net.

You can download a Web dynpro ABAP component into a Nuggest file using SAPLINK. You can download it from site http://groups.google.com/group/saplink or http://www.saplink.org
There is a plug-in for Web Dynpro.
If you have a very small piece of code(Like only code in WDDOINIT method), then you can copy and paste the code into a notepad or word file too.

Any good online resources for pages templates?

I typically use Google docs for basic word processing. Needed some more robust features from time to time, but I hate having to run Word in VM Ware and not a fan of Word anyway. Really loving Pages so far. Any good online resources for pages templates?

There are several options for templates you can use in Pages. First, there those submitted by other users & available at iWork Community.
You'll find some links in the Resources section here.
I haven't tried these Microsoft sites for awhile, so I'm not sure if these steps are still valid, but it does give you a starting place.
Try Microsoft Office templates. to find links to many PC templates. Then comes the Microsoft trickery part. Choose the category then sub-category & then click the name of a template. Next is a page with a "download" button that takes you to the "Your operating system doesn't meet system requirements" page. All that means is that you can't use their automatic download service. Click the "download now" button in the section to manually download. Somewhere along the process was a license agreement. The file I chose downloaded as 06369101.cab. Double-clicking it launched Stuffit & resulted in a folder. I then had to change the .dot file in the folder to have the .doc extension. It then opened in Pages with only one unsupported warning.
The Mactopia site has a lot less templates to choose from, but was less involved to download. Most templates for Word will open nicely in Pages. I haven't come across one that doesn't, but that doesn't mean someone else might. The only thing to watch for is the file extension. Some Word templates have an extension other than .doc. You will still be able to use them, just change the extension to .doc in the Finder or Pages won't recognized them as Word files. Of course, you can't change just any file's extension to .doc & have Pages open it. It must be a Word document.

What are some good, standard, help strategies?

I'm learning JSP, coming from a Cold Fusion background.
The biggest difficulty I've found in learning a new language is learning where to get help. This means:
1) Which book(s) to buy (there's a bazillion of 'em)
2) Where can I get help locally? Is there an IDE that is better for JSP? does any IDE provide in-depth help and docs on JSP? or code samples? Is there a detailed langauage reference I can download and use, or import into my IDE of choice (which is Homesite/Cold Fusion Studio)?
3) Where can I get help online? What are the best web sites to provide answers using tutorials, articles, forums, and/or sample code? I'm sure this site here at Sun has great stuff, but is it 'real-world' information?
I realize there are a ton of books and sites to help. The problem may be that, because there are so many, newbies have a hard time knowing which ones are the best for us. We don't have the time, money, or resources to evaualuate all the books and websites that are avaialable. I think I need a short list of the most popular and common sites and books.
Also, For the above information, I need resources that can provide both newbie information ('cause I'm new to the language), intermediate information for people who have coding experience and catch on quickly, and advanced info for the nitty gritty occasions that inevitably pop up while coding.
I have learned some of the best help strategies for Cold Fusion, but any time I start learning a different language, I struggle to develop a new and efficient help strategy. What are some good suggestions?

Try professional JSP from Wrox Publication - a good book, but you will have to sit and read it, patiently - there is no shortcut to anything.

As you may have heard somewhere, we are currently developing a new liveCD based on Arch + KDE4, which will be released around the end of this year (or sooner or later, as our motto is "when its done")...
Well, developing progresses and we have already reached some important milestones, but now we have a serious problem: We need a logo and a colorscheme for both our "identity" and the website of the project.
We already have a name for the project, but we are seriously lacking some good artwork skills... To give you an impression of our marvellous skills, here is our current mockup of the logo:

We would like to see ideas from you, the beloved Arch community. We dont have any rules regarding the logo etc, and are completely open about this... So maybe some of the more gifted people can take this above approach and create something awesome for us... As all of our tools also have rather esoteric names (shaman, tribe, more to come ...), maybe the wikipedia entry for chakra could be helpful for inspiration...
If you have any ideas, designs, schemes, whatever, dont hesitate to show us them... If there are some submissions, we will choose the one we like the most, and the creator will of course be mentioned on our website as our "creative director" (CEO is already taken by boom1992, sorry ), together with some of our very descriptive Roles (you can choose them!)

What are some good educational apps?

I am a special ed teacher who will be using an iPad in my classroom next year. I am interested in educational apps and I know there are a lot out there but I don't want to have to weed through them all to find some good ones.

I actually create educational apps for kids in that range. I have a few apps Rhyme-N-Time (rhyming app), Free The Bee (spelling app) and Trojan Math. You can find my apps in the app store by searching for the names or by just doing a search on my LLC, which is 'Levott'. The math one is free and the other two are 50% off in July so only 99 cents.
I also belong to a group called "Parents with Apps", which is kind of the new name for "Mom's With Apps", but I could find you several more apps. I'd bet some of the developers might even get you some discounted rates or promo codes.
