Some of my music is cut short

I had a problem - AAC protected songs I purchased back in 2006-2008 timeframe where being cut short, truncated, when played back. The file size and duration where not affected. It occurred when I copied the files to a backup external drive and then tried to copy them back to the local drive.
Solution: From itunes, I when to the "Show in Windows Explorer" selection, then I right clicked on the file name and selected "rename" Even thought I could not see the three character extension from that screenm I just added .m4a be sure to include the dot. This changed the true file name to be songname.m4a instead of songname.m4p which is what the protected ones were. Best of luck.

You can buy ONLY from the itunes store of your country of residence (As proven by valid billing address of credit card) and ONLY while inside the borders of that country.

Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases.
The ipod is not a backup device.
You need to copy everything back using your backup copy.

Dear Nay2000,
I have the same problem, my girl-friend saved a bigger Gigabyte library from her old laptop before she sold it, then at some point she realized that she couldn't play many songs that she had transfered. Now, I paid those 30 quid as well, and it doesn't play 99% of the files, that is very frustrating, is there any way you got it revived?

The music skip in some songs

I dont know why but some songs have errors because when are playing, the music blinks or skip a sec just like a data error, not all the music but much more that I can accept.
What are the options?
I think is because I backup the data almost a month and just copy the iTunes folder every time.. is there any way to just back up the new songs donwloaded? I dont do that because I dont want that if I made a change by iTunes, lose it if goes direct to folder..

Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

If you're having trouble syncing your music and you're syncing music automatically (not manually) check the following items:
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize This Computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything above is correct sync your phone and your music should transfer.

Sounds like the Apple TV is in recovery mode. Try to restore the Apple TV. Follow the appropriate link for your Apple TV for instructions on the restore process.

Music plays for some more minutes while deactivating android device

I have main menu(swf file) with music when I lock android device screen dims but music plays for some more minute and stops. I gave CurrentMovieClip.Stop(), in deavtive event. How could I stop music too while the screen goes please help me on this

If you've just added the sound to a frame (assuming you're using Flash), you can stop all sounds with SoundMixer.stopAll()
You would also need to import flash.media.SoundMixer.

Then I lost my iPod and about 8 gigs of music.Because it was there in iTunes on my old computer, I assume it still exists somewhere. I would like to retrieve it somehow. Can anyone help me do that?

Unless you had subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded that music to it then no, it won't be stored anywhere. You haven't got it on a backup e.g. an external drive ?

Have you tried resetting your phone (hold down the Home and Power buttons a the same time and continue to hold until the Silver Apple appears). Once the Home screen comes back up, see if your Music is OK.
If it is not, then, have you sync'd your phone to an iTunes library on a computer? If so, then hook it up to the computer, uncheck the "Sync Music" option so that no music is sync'd and then sync the phone. This should delete everything on the phone. Then go back and re-check the "Sync Music" option, and select any other criteria you want on that screen, and then sync again. This should put back all of your music.

One more thing. I just update my iphone that my boss gave to me but it seems to be like it giving me some trouble. My iphone was updated not too long and was successful. I try to lock into it and it telling me emergency call. I plug it to my itune and it telling me that the sim card is not valid or supported. So I inserted my sim card that I usually use to call and it still saying the same. Please help me get into it.

And as far as paying for phone support, here are a few tips:
If you call your carrier first and then they route you to Apple, you usually don't have to pay for phone support.
