Some SLD Objects missing in the target SLD environment

HI All,
Sometimes while doing SLD transport via CTS+ (PI 7.0 SP18), it is observed that some technical systems or business systems are missing in the target SLD Environment.
I have checked and objects are present in the request and if it is re-imported few more times, the missing objects gets visible.
The related Business Systems and Technical systems are sent over in one request only.
Does anybody has any explanation to this behavior?

Found the explanation for this issue in below notes:
1. Note 1087706 - SLD namespace remains locked against changes for a long time
2. Note 1087704 - Locking entire SLD namespace during import

, there is some issue on the generation of the Site Master IDoc (Message type: ZDEBMAS, Basic type: DEBMAS06).
This is using the SAP standard program (RBDMIDOC) which reads the Site master change pointers.

i got the function module. it is triggerig whne i do changepointer running.
what ever changes i made only that segments are onlycomming in to the idoc. but remaing segments are not comming.

Multiprovder objects missing in the Query Designer

Hi,
I have multiprovider based on 2 infosets ( as the reproting is based on master data) .
Later on i have added couple of objects in master data and adjusted the infoset and activated it . The multiprovider also ajusted after adding the fields.
I have activated the multiprovider which is successfully activated, but when i login to Query designer and try to create a query the news objects are missing from the query desinger where as in RSA1 for the Multiprovider it is displayed.. Kindly can anyone will help to resolve this.

Thanks for the response..
I have cehck the infoset invidually , the data dispalyed in both the infosets are according to my requreiment.
When i was checking the multiprovider i did not get the fileds which i have added in the multiprovider , i went back to the structure to cross check, if found this difference for all the ojects when you right click it will display assign identification filed where as for the added obejct it is displaying Change RUN id option.. why this is happening...
This is happen in test server after transprotation where as in dev it is fine and executing properly

Some text goes missing in the PDF output after I convert FM8 book

Hi,
I am using Framemaker 8.0, Acrobat 8.0 Professional, Acrobat Distiller 8.0.
When I convert my Framemaker books to PDFs, some text (especially Table Heading tags) go missing in the PDF output. I have tried to change the font colour, change the cell shading, and many other options. But, the problem persists.
I saw some similar links on the forums with this kind of problems. For example,

After going through these links from the forums, I realized that this is a known issue. But, the above links direct me to Microsoft patches and these patches are available only for Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, and Windwos Vista operating systems. My operating system is Windows 7 Professional, 32-bit version.
One more thing I want to say is we have never faced this problem earlier. It started appearing now.
While I know that the world (many of us) moved on to Framemaker 9 and 10, I also know that there is someone out there to help me to overcome this issue.

Thanks for your response.
We tried this option also. In fact, the Distiller shows this option by default. Secondly, we have recently updated our old template to reflect the new corporate styles and we suspect something went wrong there. We once again took the old template and updated with the new colour definitions and fonts, this time very carefully and it started working. Now, the text is not missing.
So, the result is something is wrong with our template. Quite surprising is it is inconsistent and some places the text appears and some places it does not.
Where do you work? Are you in India?

Some coloumns are missing in the transaction FB50

Hi Experts,
We are finished with the upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.0.
Here we have an issue with FB50 transaction.
In ECC6.0 the following coloumns are missing in the table control in the initial screen of the transaction FB50,
1) STATUS
2) Tax jurisdictn Code
3) W/O cash disc
We have deactivated the transaction variants also but still we are not getting the above coloumns.

I want some KDE apps, but not the KDE desktop environment....

I'm on a laptop running Arch (yay!) and I am wanting to install Amarok and KTorrent. However, I don't want the KDE desktop environment, KWin (I use fluxbox), or things like KDM (I use SLiM). Is there a package, like kde-base in Debian, that allows just essential Qt/KDE libraries for applications like Amarok and KTorrent?

Assuming you have it installed,
$ kcontrol
or you can use kcmshell with the name of the options module you want to use, eg:
$ kcmshell style

Reader for Android SOM Doc Object missing certain properties and methods

I have found, much to my chagrin, that although Adobe Reader for Android pretends to allow the filling of forms, the Scripting Object Model is missing essential pieces that have been present in the desktop version for many years. Among these are the Doc object's numFields property and getNthFieldName() method. I find this rather odd since the Doc object's getField() method is fully present and functional.
Basically, I am now finding that time-tested, reasonably simple, forms that worked perfectly on the desktop are broken.
If the Adobe Reader for Android can't provide forms functionality (including basic scripting) that is comparable to the desktop, it shouldn't pretend to allow this at all.
Isn't one of the goals of Adobe Reader to provide a consistent user experience across platforms?
Who would have expected that in the Android product you could get a field by name but not enumerate fields? Guesswork should not come into play here.
Question:
Is there at least some sort of proper documentation for the limited subset of SOM supported by Reader for Android?

Update: I've been able to make progress with the first route mentioned above: adding the mobilecomponents.swc and the mobile.swc theme to my web project
Turns out that Flash Builder had led me wrong in this regard. Adding the mobile SWCs to your Library project with the "merged into code" setting results in the compiler warning:
The swc '/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.6/sdks/4.6.0/frameworks/themes/Mobile/mobile.swc' has style defaults and is in the library-path, which means dependencies will be linked in without the styles. This can cause applications, which use the output swc, to have missing skins. The swc should be put in the external-library-path.
Seeing this the first time, I changed my linkage type to "External" and the warning went away. Then in my web project, I also added the mobile SWCs and set the linkage type to "merged into code" there. Flash Builder seemed happy with that approach, but upon running my application I got bizarre runtime errors (as mentioned above).
Turns out that my first attempt was the correct way. Set the linkage type on the library project to "merged into code" and then don't re-link from your web project. Flash Builder will warn you about it but ignore the warning. Things seem to work pretty well for the most part now! I have an issue or two to look into (ex. List component doens't scroll) but things look pretty promising overall!

Some records are missing in the mail, when scheduled a background job.

There is a Z report, which will display some details from SD, MM , WM every day , and the same thing need to be mailed to the user through background Job.
Issue is that spool is correct and it is missing some records ( Billing due list ), even internal table have records and displayed in the spool , in the mail it says
No Entries Found.
Is there any chance of debugging background job.
Good thing is that when executed in foreground it is working fine. Both mail and report display.

Some fields are missing in the ALV output

I have created a normal ALV report using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY . It shows the output correctly. But when I take the prin out or download to an excel sheet some fields are not there. Can I know how to solve this issue ?

hi Beena,
If you are downloading the ALV output to excel, please make sure that the DDIC structure is passed as a parameter to the REUSE_ALV. I doubt you are creating field catalog from the program and that DDIC structure is not used.

Objects hidden (missing) in the Hierarchy list of SE80

Hi Experts,
The situation is, I have seen many times in my programs that, out of all the objects declared in the ABAP program some are found missing in the objects hierarchy list. Example, there will be a selection screen delcared and the program is working fine, but in the objects list, either screens node is not shown or if screens tab is shown, the number 1000 screen will be missing. another instannce is, out of the internal tables declared usinf the "data" statment, one or two of them will not be seen under "fields" node. Can any one please tell me why this happens practically when it should not happen ideally.
Is there any way to make them visible again?
All the satisfying and justifying answers will be rewarded.

Open the report in se80.
From menu, choose : Utilities->Update Navigation index
= Or =
Right click the report program; from the context menu choose
Other Functions->Rebuild Object List
This will regenerate the program object list.

How to instanciate/restore an object in the target JVM

For the needs of a runtime project, I'd like to be able to interrupt the main method of my target VM as it starts (that, I can do), and call a static method that takes an object as parameter. At this point, obviously, the argument object is not defined, so I'd like to instanciate it from my runtime program (debugger). I don't know how to do that. I thought I could use the ClassType.newInstance() method, but the class I want to instanciate is not loaded yet, so I don't know how to get the right ClassType object.
Actually what I'd like to do in the end is to be able to recreate an object (deserialize) to the target VM, so what I'm really looking for is a way of setting an entire object without having to invoke its constructor method. Does the redefineClass() method help here ? I'm not sure...
Does someone knows a way of doing this ?

so I understand you right, that you want to launch a JSP from a different PAR file? You could do the following in this case.
Create an additional JSP in the (first) PAR that simply does a redirect to the second iView (form the other PAR). In the contoller class of your first PAR, perform a this.setJspName("redirectMe.jsp").
If you want to keep displaying the original JSP in the iView and simply display an additional popup, you could try:
don't change the this.setJspName() (i.e. set it to the original page)
Use a bean that stores a value like "showPopup yes/no"
Query the bean in the JSP and render some javascript:window.open() code if "showPopup=true".

How to open the Transported model Object in the Target Portal Story Board

How To Transport Applications Modeled in Visual Composer from NetWeaver 2004s to NetWeaver 2004
I have transported one VC model from Development portal to Testing Portal. But Once i transported , under the
PortalContent -> Visual Composer -> Models folder , i am able to see the transport model and the view. If i want to edit that model in the VC story board , I am not able to see that model name in the list when logged into the visual composer Tool of the Testing portal server.
Is there any thing need to do the work around it.
And onemore thing, In the development portal server, when i am working on that model , it will be depended on on system object for retreiveing the BAPI data. In the Testing protal server after i transported. , i need to map some system object to run the model in Testing portal.
What is the work around this to map the system object with the Transported model in Testing portal server.
should i need to create the new system object even if the R3 server is same as in Testing portal server also. or the System object need to be create only if the mapped R3 server is different from the Development portal server.
Please let me know how to do this.

I have exported the .gml file from the dev server Then i trying to import that .gml file in the production server. when i click on the import file option .it is opening the popup and disappearing immediately with out browsing the file I dont know wht is the problem around it.
But agin in the production server, i have just opend one existing model. then i clicked on the Import file option. then the popup is allowing me to browse the .gml file. but after i browsed the file, if say ok, it will be merging with the already opened model itself.
Can u please tell me , what is the problem, i am not able to browse the file ,when no model is not opened in the VC.
