Somebody correct my code Iam trying to create an applet which connects DB
This is throwing many mistakes iam trying to create an applet like an airplace booking which shows combo box of the available aircrafts and when selected it should show the no of available seats
import javax.swing.*;
import java.awt.*;
//<applet code=Aircraft_Booking width=500 height=500></applet>
public class Aircraft_Booking extends JApplet
JLabel lblStdId;
JLabel lblStdSeats;
JLabel lblStdAircraft;
JComboBox jcmbStdAircraft;
JTextField jcmbStdSeats;
JTextField jcmbStdId;
JPanel panel;
//Member Function/
public void init()
panel = new JPanel();
lblStdId = new JLabel("Aircraft Booking");
lblStdSeats = new JLabel("No of Available Seats");
lblStdAircraft = new JLabel("Choose your Aircraft");
//txtStdId = new JTextField(5);/
String p = "Select * from Aircraft where aircrafttypeid";
/*Initialize and load the JDBC-ODBC Bridge driver*/
Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
/*Establish a connection with a data source*/
Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:MyDataSource", "sa", "");
/*Create a Statement object to process the SELECT statement*/
Statement stmt = con.createStatement();
/*Execute the SELECT SQL statement*/
ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(str);
jcmbStdAircraft = new JComboBox(p);
//Add all components to panel/
panel.add(lblStdId);
//panel.add(txtStdId);/
panel.add(lblStdAircraft);
panel.add(jcmbStdAircraft);
//Add Panel to JApplet/
getContentPane().add(panel);
}
When running an Applet connections can only be established back to the originating machine unless you have changed the security configuration of the client machine.
This means that you would only be able to connect to the database on the server from which the applet was loaded.
Contrariwise the JDBC-ODBC driver will try to connect to the database on the local machine. So I can't see that working unless this was your intention and you have made the appropriate security config changes - but in such a circumstance Applets are a rather odd choice of environment.

That isn't enough of a description to know what you are trying to do or how you plan to use the function. The query you provided has no relation to the question you ask.
Are you asking about pipelined functions? Here is an example of that
-- type to match emp record
create or replace type emp_scalar_type as object
(EMPNO NUMBER(4) ,
ENAME VARCHAR2(10),
JOB VARCHAR2(9),
MGR NUMBER(4),

COMM NUMBER(7, 2),
DEPTNO NUMBER(2)
-- table of emp records
create or replace type emp_table_type as table of emp_scalar_type
-- pipelined function
create or replace function get_emp( p_deptno in number )
return emp_table_type

Iam trying to create a PO for a material.
In Material Master source list is activated in purchasing view and source list is created for the material,plant and vendor combination.A contract is created with the same vendor with validity period.contract number is assigned in the source list.Now iam trying to restrict the user not to create a PO with other vendors except the vendor with whom contract is present.
When iam creating a PO to the vendor by giving the material code , delivery date and plant price is coming from the contract but iam unable to save th PO.The following is the error iam getting.
Source not included in list despite source list requirement.
Can anybody give me the solution.
regards.Hi,
If you refer the contract to create the PO, you will not get any error message. If you want to create the PO without contract, you need to create the source list without contract no.
I hope you are checking the validity start and end periods for the contract header and item conditions also.
Thanks,

Iam trying to create FI-CA contracts...
Hi FI-CA experts,
I am trying to create a contract using FM: BAPI_CTRACCONTRACTACCOUNT_CR1 and i am passing all the relevant BP data to it.
But iam getting this 1 error:
Message class: >3
061 You cannot maintain category &1 contract accounts online
Any ideas on this.
Thanks.
Srini.Hi Srini,
I suppose you are talking about Flexible Real Estate contracts, If so, I don't know why you were using
BAPI_CTRACCONTRACTACCOUNT_CR1 BAPI innstead of that you can use
BAPI_RE_CN_CREATE for Creating contract
BAPI_RE_CN_CHANGE for changinng Contract
BAPI_RE_CN_GETDETAIL for getting the details of contract
And for classic Real Estate , I think we have standard BAPI's

Error Code 0xC03A0005 trying to create system image on NAS device
I am trying to create a system image of my new Windows 8.1 Pro on a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+.
I get the message
The version does not support this version of the file format (0xC03A0005)
Which version?
Which file format?
The NV+ runs some form of Linux but what does the Microsoft error message mean?
Alan CameronHi,
There will be a .vhdx file for each hard disk that was included in the system image backup when it was created in Windows 8.1. According to this, I suspect this is related to this kind of reason: The failure happens while the .VHD file created by Windows
Backup is mounted during backup.
You may check this article:

-udayHi Uday,
you have to create a logon Group named PUBLIC with Transaction SMLG in your Backend system. Also don't forget to add the line:
sapmsXYZ <port_number on which XYZ listens>/tcp <For ex: 3600>
to your services file in C:\winNT\system32\drivers\etc (for the Windows 2000 system). XYZ means your Instance Name.

Thanks,
Shaun.Not sure if this is a cause for your error, but JDev11.1.2.1.0 doesn't work with SOA right now. For SOA you need to use jdev11.1.1.5.0 or lower.

show us your pool definitions from the config.xml file. There's
probably a
problem
with the URL or properties.

How do I correct error code 150.30?
When I tried to start Photoshop Elements 8, I received error code 150.30. I was instructed to restart my computer. I did this, but the error code persisted. It then said to contact Adobe. I used this software about a couple of months ago and it was fine. Any suggestions?
I tried to follow the instructions, but when I downloaded the winzip
program I got a box that stated I needed another program called python25.dll,
which appeared as a sales tool, so I stopped. Can I just remove the
Photoshop Elements 8 software and reinstall it to fix the problem?

Urgent help! trying to create basic report with prompt.
Hi,
I'm trying to create a report which allows a user to select a item_id value (using either a LOV or manually entering a text_id) and then too display output.
for some reason apex does not like the '&' prompt, in the SQL.
Any help or suggestions, would be great? this is quite straightforward so it must be something I'm doing wrong!
sql statement below:
select i.item_id, i.title, d.date_logged, d.details
from tracking_issues i, tracking_details d
where i.item_id=&item_id
and i.item_id=d.item_idSmiley,
Apex is building a JSP, so instead of you running the page and it poping up a input box that you might be familar with if you run your sql in TOAD or SQL Nav it is waiting on your input(text box/LOV) to populate the item_id field. You need to build your LOV on something like select item_id d, item_id r from items and then once you select that item in the LOV the page will(should - based on how your branch is set up) to the page you are on and your report is displayed.
Also make sure in your branch you are setting the LOV item name to the value you select for it in the branch since the page needs re-submit.
Your select statement for your report should look like:
select item_id, title
from tracking_issues
where item_id=:p1_LOV
--where p1_lov is the name of your LOV

Hi,
I have created successfully a test mv which contains aggregates....
create materialized view log on dept with sequence, rowid (deptno,dname) including new values;
create materialized view log on emp with sequence, rowid(deptno,job,hiredate,sal) including new values;
create materialized view mv_dept_emp_
build immediate
refresh fast on commit
enable query rewrite
as
select a.dname, count(*) cnt, sum(b.sal) sal,count(b.sal) cnt_sal, b.job, b.hiredate
from dept a , emp b
where a.deptno=b.deptno
group by a.dname, b.job, b.hiredate
Now, I'm trying to create a mv which includes only a join... but the error ORA-00904:ROWID "Unknown Identifier" appears.... The sql stmt , i issue is as follows:
create materialized view mv_dept_emp
build immediate
refresh fast
enable query rewrite
as
select a.rowid, b.rowid, a.dname, b.ename, b.job, b.hiredate
from dept a , emp b
where a.deptno=b.deptno
Does anybody have any idea how to overcome this problem...???
Note: I use DB 10g v.2
Thank you,
SimSim,
The error message is rather self explaining: you cannot create a (materialized) view with a column named "rowid". If you give it an alias, it will work:
SQL> create materialized view log on dept with sequence, rowid (deptno,dname) including new values;
Materialized view log created.
SQL>
SQL> create materialized view log on emp with sequence, rowid(deptno,job,hiredate,sal) including new values;

9 group by a.dname, b.job, b.hiredate

Error while creating a new DAC connection using connection type MSSQL
Hi,
I am trying to create a new DAC connection i.e. a new DAC repository in the SQL Server 2008 database.
DAC version : 10.1.3.4.1
Database : SQL Server 2008
I have downloaded the sqljdbc4.jar file from the below link and placed it in the D:\orahome\10gR3_1\bifoundation\dac\lib folder.
[http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=11774 ]
I have entered all the details correctly for database name, database host, database port. I created a new Authentication file.
I get the below error when I try to test the connection.

The error seems to be a connectivity issue with SQL Server. Am I using the correct jar file?
Please help me out in resolving this issue. Appreciate the help provided on this forum earlier.
Thank YouAdd
