Somehow everything is bigger, not the icons, but like the desk top screen is not showing all in one screen i must scroll up and down left and right to see it all how do i get back to normal?
I know its as easy as just pressing a or some buttons cause it happened when my 2 year old pressed a or some buttons!

This happens when the CNTL key is pressed down when you scroll up. Hold CNTL and scroll down with the mouse or trackpad to unzoom.

After yesterday upgrading from Mavericks to Yosemite I can no longer find in Mail the icon (looks like the Add To Contacts icon without the + mark) I used to press in order to obtain an e-mail address from my contact list. What procedure should I use now in order to quickly add an address to an e-mail that I wish to send?

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
My daughter and me use the same cloud and apple id to buy songs in the past. I got first iphone 5 and after trying to set up itunes to phone I ended up with all my daughters contacts from her iphone on my iphone. I then deleted them from my phone one by one and now they are gone from her phone as well. How does she get them back on hers and what happen???? Help with cloud!
That's what happens when you share the same iCloud account. First, migrate his phone to a different iCloud account using a different ID (you can continue to share the same ID for other services such as iTunes if you want). To do this, on his phone save any photo stream photos that he wants to keep to his camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If he are syncing notes with iCloud that he wants to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to him so he can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in his new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your phone), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload the data. After doing this, he can go to icloud.com and safely delete your data from his new account.
Then, if your contacts were on your phone when you last backed it up to iCloud, you can restore them by following Winston Churchill's user tip here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. This involves turning off your wifi after your phone restarts during the restore process, then saving the contacts on your phone and deleting them from iCloud prior to turning your wifi back on and allowing the restore process to finish. You can turn off your wifi either by pulling the cord out of the WAN port in your wifi router, or by simply unplugging it. -

I switched to safe mode to disable a few add-ons, but now I want to go back to normal mode. How do I do that?
Firefox will open normally as long as you do not click the Safe mode link in the Start menu.
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

My iPod is stuck on an iCloud back up message. How do I get back to normal?
My iPod just announced it hasn't been backed up by iCloud in 7 week. The WiFi is turned off and I can't click this message away. Pressing OK would not work. Because I can't get rid of this icon, I cannot go back in the menu or switch my iPod off or use anything else. Any ideas how I can get rid of this message and go back to the menu to actually use my iPod again?

After I installed 10.8.4, my Internet browsing slowed down to the pace of a dial-up connection -- unless it froze up completely. How do I get my system back to a normal operating mode? Can I dump 10.8.4 and go back to the one that at least worked?

I used to be able to turn off my apps by holding down the icon and then it would turn off, now when I do the same thing nothing happens. Have they changed the way you turn off apps since the new update.

Are you using an external keyboard at all? If so, it sounds like it needs remapping. Go to
> System Preferences > Keyboard to set it up.
In any case, there should be a flag (national flag or some other icon) in the menubar, probably between the battery/power indicator and the volume icon. Click on it and select 'English'.
You can set up a keyboard hotkey for this, if you look in
> System Preferences > Language & Text | Input Sources
on the right of the window you should see 'Input source shortcuts'. There should be a hotkey for
'Select previous input source' and
'Select next input source in the menu'
If the second one is greyed out, click the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' button underneath and set it up as
'option-command-spacebar'.
Now use this hotkey to toggle through to English. -
I need to get back to my older version of Firefox - my computer won't accept Firefox 4 - how can I find my older version I had that I told to replace with Firefox 4.

Running OSX 10.7.4 and Mail.5.2.
One of 3 email accounts was constantly trying, but unable to synch. The rotating splines were turning non-stop but not synching (other two email accounts worked just fine.) After doing some searching on the internet, I found several articles about this. Many included the symptom of the "Recovered Messages" constantly being recovered/generated. I had noticed that I would get some recovered messages on occaision, but had never noticed it to be problematic. These articles suggested that the ".OfflineCache" file for that email account had been corrupted or the root of my problem. So, I deleted the .OfflineCach file as per this article...

Well that got my mail working again. However, I soon noticed that spotlight no longer works and when I try to search mail, it doesn't work. It will only return a complete email address/contact; it doesn't search the contents of the email.
I tried to get spotlight to re-index the hard drive. However, when I try to drag a folder or volume to it, I get the error:
Since spotlight and mail search have always worked flawlessly for 5 years, I'm confident this is related to having deleted " .OffflineCache" for that particular email account. However, it seems strange that mail search won't work for the other email accounts.
Any other tips for getting spotlight back online?
How about the .OfflineCache file. Will Mail restore it, replace it on it's own?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, looking back, not long before this problem started, I was trying to send a single email with numerous pictures ( around 50 or so.) I forgot to select "medium" for the picture size and it started trying to upload them at full size. I realized this after a minute or two and cancelled the upload, changed to 'medium' and sent the email with no problem. I point this out because the "Multiple Recovered Messages" error seems to be related to or being induced by having an excessively large file in the particular mail account's .Offline.Cache file.Well, a couple days later and it seems that the .offlinecache has been rebuilt. Finder, Spotlight, & Mail search all seem to be working normally now!
