Someone take my account

Dear Skype Team!
Today i realized a problem happened with my skype Username and email.
Can't log in and have to reset the Password.
I saw a guy under name is : James Anthony using my account.
Very strange.
Thanks

So you're saying that they took it, is it an iPod Classic or iPod Touch? I don't think you can add an account to an iPod Classic. If he has a Touch then he needed to restrict anyone from being able to access or delete accounts on that particular iPod. Were you able to get the iPod back?
I think that if the person who took it deleted the info for finding my iPod I believe it is long gone. Once the account is deleted it can't be found, guess that's one of Apple's failures to protect iPhones or iPod touches. I'm sorry, do you know who took it?

If someone used my account and I received a receipt for thing I didn't buy, what can I do?

First thing to do is change your password! Next call Apple, although I'm not sure what they can do about it as I think they may not be able to reverse your purchase. It might be something to take up with your bank. Also someone authroized your account on your computer. Have you sold a computer recently? What other computers have you downloaded iTunes products off of?

  • You need to take this account online in order to download it.

For the best part of a year now, all the mail in my SENT box displays the following message:
The message from David Watson <[email protected]> concerning “<Unknown subject>” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it.
As far as Im aware, the account is online. So I can never recall any sent mail. A little irritating but not enough to have bothered me!
Yesterday, the mail in my INBOX started displaying the same message. To view my mail I have to quit the application and restart it. I have to do this every time I want to open another email. VERY IRRITATING! I have another email account set up on my other G5 (with all the same settings etc) and I never have any problems with that.
Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

OPEN LETTER TO THE MAIL 2.0 CODING TEAM. RSVP.
with thanks to DAVID GIMENO GOST, for answering so many people's posts about all the mail 2.0 bugs.
    hi guys,
i love all things apple, and i have done for twenty years.
but with respect, your build of mail 2.0 really could be a lot better.
moving my mail from 1.0 on an ibook g3 running os X 10.3.9, over to mail 2.0 on an intel macbook 1.83 running os X 10.4.7 has been a nightmare.
the discussion boards of many mac sites feature countless cases of people making the move from 1.0 to 2.0, with all their e-mails disappearing.
having spent two weeks reading the knowledge forums, and learning about emailchemy, plus all the complications which, even with that third party program, still exist in moving one's mail over from version 1.0 over to 2.0, are both massive and horrendous.
and that's for me, who has twenty years of finding my way around mac bugs.
but this one is the most difficult i've ever seen, as well as being one of the most widespread problems in a FULL VERSION RELEASE of an apple program, which apple has done nothing to resolve during the six months in which this problem has been widespread in the mac community worldwide.
so thank god for DAVID GIMENO GOST !
i'm amazed that apple still hasn't come up with a patch for moving mail from 1.0 to 2.0.
even now, while i've finally got all my mail back today, 95% is showing as unread, due to the last obstacles in the process, which i can no longer face solving.
i've also lost hundreds of red mail flags during the transfer :o(.
    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, guys:
we shouldn't need to be buying third party software to move our e-mails from apple mail 1.0 up to apple mail 2.0, and even then be faced by massive hurdles to overcome, which take weeks for someone who at least has SOME idea of what he's doing.
i pity all the people who read the numerous forum posts about how difficult it is to transfer their mail from 1.0 to 2.0, and simply give up on the spot, and have to start their e-mail history TODAY, unable to access their previous e-mail again - potentially now for ever.
because the ironic joke is that we can't even have an access copy of mail 1.0 on our macs to read our old e-mails, unless we hack that program out of the 10.3 cd installation set, which the gurus on your own web site recommend us NOT to do !
so what are we supposed to do, to access our old e-mail, which we can't open, even though YES, it is in our mail folder, and YES, we did full rebuilds of every mail folder, and YES, we trashed our mail preferences first.
e-mail is now at the very center of the average mac user's digital life.
a user's most important program should not require countless hours scrolling through the astonishing number of problems within mail 2.0, which the apple.com discussion boards evidence, with new problems being added every day.
please sort this out, and build a patch, for the sanity of the many people who love apple, but who are unable to access any of their old e-mails.
because i wouldn't wish the last fortnight on anyone else.
    RSVP, APPLE.
with best wishes to everyone on the infinity loop,

    hello!
I am receiving this message: "The message from <sender> concerning <subject> has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."
I saw the resolution to it elsewhere and am hoping someone can help me with the script to recover the missing emails? Here are the contents of my
    INBOX.mbox: 34.8 MB
    Info.plist: 4KB
    mbox: 23 MB
    mbox.SKindex: 11.6 MB
    mbox.SKindex.isValid: Zero KB
    tableofcontents: 76 KB
    Thank you so much!

Assuming this INBOX.mbox has been moved from within the account named folder to the Desktop (if not, do so with the Mail.app quit).
Copy the INBOX.mbox and place the copy in another location of your choosing such as your Documents folder for backup purposes.
Repeat Show Package Contents for the original INBOX.mbox on the Desktop and delete all package content files except for the mbox file at 23MB in size and the mbox.SKindex file at 11.6MB in size and empty the Trash.
With the Mail.app quit and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail > Mailboxes. Move the INBOX.mbox from the Desktop to/within the Mailboxes folder.
Launch Mail and this transferred mailbox should be in the mailboxes drawer along with any user created "On My Mac" location mailboxes or imported mailboxes.
Select this transferred mailbox in the mailboxes drawer and the Mail.app will take additional time to re-index the mailbox and replace the deleted package content files.
If successful and when completed, all messages in the message list for this mailbox will appear as unread. To mark all messages as read, select a message in the message list and at the menu bar, go to Edit > Select All. At the menu bar, go to Message > Mark and select As Read.
Use the Rebuild Mailbox function on this mailbox for good measure.
If this resolves the problem and there are no missing messages, you can delete the backup copy of the INBOX.mbox place in your Documents folder.

  • Does CC alert generation take into account 1/ act or 2/ act+perm ?

    Dear Forum,
Can somebody shed some light on how alert generation works ? Are only the entries in the action tab of a function relevant ?
    1. Suppose you have alertlog.txt
    $ cat Alertlog.log
    SYS-001 JDOE SM30    2008-07-28      09:15:07                ENDUSER
    SYS-001 JDOE SU01    2008-07-28      09:45:24                ENDUSER
    2. critical action rules
    a) SM30 S_TABU_DIS 02 FC31 = open and close FI posting period
    b) SU01 S_USER_GRP ACTVT 06 = Delete users
---> will the "Search Critical Action Alerts" functionality report JDOE or not ? That is, will SAP GRC take the permissions into account yes or no ? If not, than we have false positives.
    Thanks - Sam

    Simon,
    Thanks for the reply
Can we conclude as follows :
"SAP GRC Risk and Remediation alert monitoring and alert notification do not take into account any function permissions settings before, during or after alert analysis. By this logic, users will be reported as soon as alertlog.txt line items correspond with items from the action tab as part of functions, regardless the fact those users' user buffer does not have the necessary permissions as specified within that same function."
I have noticed your email suffix sap.com --> Can I consider your answer as an official answer from SAP to my question ?

  • Can i transfer music from my ipod to someone elses itunes account?

Can i transfer music from my ipod to someone elses itunes account??

CD's you can give to them to rip to their own iTunes.  If you do that, legally you are supposed to delete any copies you may have in your posession as you no longer own the content.
For iTunes purchases, they are permanently tied to the account they were purchased with.
You can always gift the content via iTunes to your friend, purchase and give them CD's, or let them buy their own copies.

  • Got mixed up with someone else's account, please help!

Alright guys, I'm sorry for the long post, but this is quite a complicated situation now and I haven't been able to get help anywhere else.  I talked to a Reddit user who happens to work for Best Buy Corporate, and he recommended asking one of the Community Connectors.  So here I am.
Let me start with my original issue:
Back when "Best Buy RewardZone" was still around, my mother had signed up for an account for my family to use. At the time, I wasn't yet 18 and therefore a parent had to sign up on my behalf. My mom never actually shops at the store, though... the only time she even goes there is if she's buying a gift for me or picking something up that I had put on hold.
I'm now 23, meaning we've had this account for probably six years. Obviously RewardZone is now just called My Best Buy, but it's the same number, and we're still getting the bonus points.
Up until about a year ago, the emails were still going to my mother's email, including the rewards certificate. I had created a free account for myself (not associated with any rewards account) in order to buy something back in 2007 or so (before we signed up for RewardZone), so I couldn't change her email address to mine - the system simply would not let me do that since my email already had an account.
What I did in the meantime was just create a second email for myself and change her account's address to that. That way I was able to check it and get my reward certificates, and she wasn't bothered. But, the account was still in her name. Now that I'm older than 18, I should be able to get it in my name. We have the same last name - it's obvious that I'm not trying to scam the system or anything. I can understand if "Jane Doe" wanted to transfer an account to "John Smith" and the customer service rep wouldn't allow it because that's completely sketchy, but why can't two members of the same family shift around who actually owns the thing?
Well, I noticed a few months ago that there was an option to link my account to a different My Best Buy number. So I put in my "mom's" ID, then logged into that account to confirm it. The result was basically two different logins that belonged to the same rewards account - however, the purchase history was still separate.
So anyway, on December 30, my mom and I called the Best Buy customer service number. She explained the whole situation, and was told that they can't change the name on an account - only two letters. This seems a bit suspicious to me, because if they had typed in somebody's name wrong when they signed up, that person would basically be stuck with it forever...
I explained that even though the account had my mother's name on it, I was the one who was making the purchases for the past couple years. I used my credit card or PayPal account, so they were all technically under my name. What the lady said I can do is create a new Member ID, and that somebody could transfer those purchases to my new ID, under my own name. She said that since I already had an account (which was now tied to my mother's ID), what she'd do is just delete my account and then I would sign up using that same email address, and this time not put in a member ID.
I did that, and she said somebody would transfer the applicable purchases (basically all of them for the past year at least) to my "new" account.
It's been almost 3 weeks now and so far, my account still has absolutely nothing in it. I do notice that purchases made with my account have been moved over to my mother's account... the completely opposite direction as I wanted.
A more serious issue, however. I preordered the Meta Knight Amiibo figure (Best Buy exclusive) from the site back when it was still in stock. Obviously now it's completely sold out, because of the high demand. Because the order hasn't been fulfilled yet, it completely disappeared from both accounts. I still have my order confirmation email, with the order number, but cannot actually pull it up online to view the status.
So I called back today and explained all of this. I was basically told "We can't transfer points, period. Whoever you talked to last time was wrong." Well that's great, now my account is completely empty, despite the hundreds of dollars of purchases I've made, because of someone's mistake? This needs to be fixed. The person I talked to today said he'd tie the Amiibo preorder back with my account "in 7-10 business days" as the other person said. I have to hope this guy is actually telling the truth this time.
But what can I do to fix this problem?
This was my situation a month ago.
Luckily the Meta Knight has arrived just fine, and I did get the emails updating the status for me.
I since then contacted customer support via the website, and got an offer to merge the two accounts in my name.  But here's the thing... they combined the wrong account! I'm not sure why they thought the other account belongs to me, but all of the purchases were made at stores in Ohio, and I'm not from there. The address on file is somewher eI've never been. It's clearly someone else's account.  Oh, and my Gamer's Club Unlocked has completely vanished as well, which I was told wouldn't happen.
So basically right now, when I log in with my email address, I get somebody else's member ID, somebody who happens to have an Elite Plus membership - but no Gamer's Club Unlocked.  I've made a couple purchases in-store, but I need some help fixing this problem as soon as possible.
The only purchase I *know* was made with the older account (the member ID that was auto-created when the My Best Buy program was launched, probably?) is that Meta Knight order, and I still have all the emails with the order number if somebody can look it up and find what My Best Buy ID it was tied to.  I also have the second member ID, the one I created while on the phone with customer service - and the current (WRONG) one.
You see how this is just one massive problem?  I want to solve one thing at a time, though.  If one of the Community Connectors is able to move accounts and memberships around, please let me know and I'll shoot you a private message with details.  My first priority is simply getting that Gamer's Club Unlocked membership back as I did pay for it and want to buy some more video games, but I've been holding off since I haven't been getting that discount.  I can worry about getting the stuff moved over from the account in my mother's name after that.
    Thanks

    Hi drfsupercenter,
Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and connect with us.
After reading over your post, I can definitely see how everything involved may seem complicated; however, I am confident that I can get everything straightened out for you.  There is no reason why you should have to call into us over and over again or wait week after week for a resolution.  The terms of the My Best Buy program are pretty direct, so I believe any level of frustration could have been avoided.
A My Best Buy account (formerly Reward Zone) is intended to be used by a single member, and a member is not to share their account, benefits, points, or certificates with anyone else.  If the account was in your mother's name, then it should have only been actively used by her.  When it comes to merging multiple accounts the name on each account must be the same.  While there are occasions where we can change/alter the name on an account, we cannot completely change a name.
I looked over your account history using the email address you registered with the forum and see that two accounts were merged a few weeks ago.  If any purchases you did not make were somehow merged with your primary account, then I should be able to remove them.  I would also suggest that we make sure the information associated with your account is up-to-date.  You do have an active Unlocked membership, so we may just want to have you relink your accounts (My Best Buy and BestBuy.com).
I want to apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced, and I would like to gather some additional information and go over your My Best Buy account with you, so I will be sending you a private message.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.  I look forward to further speaking with you to see what I can do to help.
How to Link a My Best Buy™ membership to your BestBuy.com Account
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

I have installed OS X Mavericks on macbook pro, macbook air & iMac but I am having terrible trouble with apple Mail. I need to take all accounts online frequently OR worse I have to quit mail and restart computer. Is anyone else having problems?

I just checked to see if the update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 solved any of the issues outlined in my previous post, and to my dismay, nothing has changed -- all of the previous problems persist.
My iMac (8) -- it's renamed itself eight times since the recent troubleshoot with the Apple tech rep -- shows up as a shared device in Finder on my MacBook Pro, but when I click on it, I cannot establish a connection using "Connect As".  So I've attempted to connect using the menu "Go/Connect to Server...", using both (alternately) the iMac's name and IP address, to no avail.  I get a message which reads: "There was a problem connecting to the server 'Peter's iMac (8)'. This server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time.  Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."
    Here's what I know:
    The server -- Peter's iMac (8) does exist;
    The server -- Peter's iMac (8) is available at this time;
    The server name -- Peter's iMac (8) -- is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
    The server IP address is correct, as specified in the system sharing preferences;
The network connection is active when I attempt to connect.
I'm convinced the problems stem directly from the OS X Yosemite update.  None of this was ever remotely an issue in the previous OS X's -- any of them.  This is maddening!  What can be done?  Apple?? Anyone???

Uhm, no... That is not the correct answer at all.
He doesn't want to auto-renew. That is not the same thing as being forced to cancel your account as you are actually suggesting.
Is there seriously no one at Adobe with any understanding whatsoever of customer support or customer satisfaction?
We should WANT to own the software because we respect Adobe and like the products. NOT be forced into it because of Adobe greed.

  • HS.EXP does not take into account the Value member and the source

    Hello,
The formula is put in the "Entity Curr Adjs" part of the Sub Calculate.
The expression is the following and apply for one entity (Holding method) I filtered previously and the ICP Entity has proportionnal method with 50% rate:
    HS.Exp "A#5420.I#[ICP None].C1#REC.C2#[None].C3#[None].C4#Recla_IAS_Aut_RetS_5=
    A#5340.V#[Contribution].E#Logista_E_TBCO.I#UTE_O.C1#CLO.C2#TotC2.C3#TotC3.C4#TotC4"
The data I would like to retrieve is the one in Contribution Value as I put on the source part of the expression.
And yet, the data I get is the one of the Entity Currency and Proportion Value, which is different because the ICP has proportionnal method (50%) and the Contribution value is the result of Proportion - Elimination values.
To sum up: I obtain a data of 50 instead of 25.
I checked that the data I see in my form corresponds to the source parameters but it seems that it does not take into account the Value parameter.
Could it be that it is not possible to use a Contribution Value source for an Entity Currency Adjs destination?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Julien

    Hi,
I see another problem in what you're trying to do. First, let me state what you're trying to establish: you are trying to get a value from one entity (say A) to another entity (say B), be it at [Proportion], [Elimination], [Contribution], ...
My question is: how can you know that during the consolidation process, by the time your code runs on B, A has already been processed and [Proportion], [Elimination] are not empty (or contain values from a previous consolidation run)?
The answer is "You don't". Theoretically, you have no control as per the order in which entities are calculated/consolidated during the process. Even more complex is the thing that if you have a multi-core machine, more than one entities may run in parallel, but still you cannot force A to run before B. I have done some tests and I've seen that in a one processor setting the order that entities enter in the process of consolidation matches the order you have placed them in the consolidation tree in metadata. Still this thing is not documented as far as I know and therefore you cannot rely on this.
Finally, I have also seen that in a simple case (B pulls from A), if you run consolidation twice, then you definitely get correct values. By the time you make a change in A, you have to run consolidation twice again to make sure that you get the correct data. I believe that you see that what I'm describing is good for experimenting but not for releasing to a client.
I tend to think of such a design, as a practice to avoid.
